Research efforts for development of agricultural robots that can effectively perform tedious field tasks have grown significantly in the past *** robots are complex systems that require interdisciplinary collaborations between different research groups for effective task delivery in unstructured crops and plants *** the exception of milking robots,the extensive research works that have been carried out in the past two decades for adaptation of robotics in agriculture have not yielded a commercial product to *** accelerate this pace,simulation approach and evaluation methods in virtual environments can provide an affordable and reliable framework for experimenting with different sensing and acting mechanisms in order to verify the performance functionality of the robot in dynamic *** paper reviews several professional simulators and custom-built virtual environments that have been used for agricultural robotic *** key features and performance efficiency of three selected simulators were also compared.A simulation case study was demonstrated to highlight some of the powerful functionalities of the Virtual Robot Experimentation *** of the objects and scenes were presented as the proof-of-concept for using a completely simulated robotic platform and sensing systems in a virtual citrus *** was shown that the simulated workspace can provide a configurable and modular prototype robotic system that is capable of adapting to several field conditions and tasks through easy testing and debugging of control algorithms with zero damage risk to the real robot and to the actual *** review suggests that an open-source software platform for agricultural robotics will significantly accelerate effective collaborations between different research groups for sharing existing workspaces,algorithms,and reusing the materials.

In this paper,the Rama distribution(RD)is considered,and a new model called extended Rama distribution(ERD)is *** new model involves the sum of two independent Rama distributed random *** probability density function(pdf)and cumulative distribution function(cdf)are obtained and *** is found that the new model is skewed to the *** mathematical and statistical properties are derived and *** properties studied include moments,coefficient of variation,coefficient of skewness,coefficient of kurtosis and moment generating *** simulations are undertaken to illustrate the behavior of these *** addition,the reliability analysis of the distribution is investigated through the hazard rate function,reversed hazard rate function and odds *** parameter of the distribution is estimated based on the maximum likelihood *** distributions of order statistics for ERD are also *** performance of the suggested model is compared with several other lifetime distributions based on some goodness of fit tests on a real *** turns out that the suggested model is more flexible than its competitors considered in this study,for modeling real lifetime data.

The microalgal epibiontic communities of the brachyuran crabs Dorippe quadridens, Schizophrys aspera and Hyastenus hilgendorfi were studied during spring and summer of 2011. A total of 68 microalgal species of four phyla （Chlorophyta, Bascillariophyta, Cyanophyta and Pyrrhophyta） was recorded in the epibiosis of the investigated brachyuran crabs males and females Generally, Bascillariophyta predominate in number of species over the other microalgal groups, followed by Cyanophyta and Pyrrhophyta, while Chlorophyta was represented by the lowest number of species. Highly percentage of occurrence of microalgal epibionts was observed on the dorsal part of the investigated crabs followed by chela and ventral parts.

A gadolinium ternary complex, tris(1 phenyl 3 methyl 4 isobutyryl 5 pyrazolone) (2, 2′ dipyridyl) gadolinium Gd(PMIP) 3(Bipy) was synthesized and used as a light emitting material in the organic electroluminescent devices. The devices exhibited the green electroluminescent (EL) emission peaking at 513 nm, originating from the Gd(PMIP) 3(Bipy). By improving the configuration, the device with a structure of ITO/poly(N vinylcarbazole) (PVk) (40 nm)/Gd(PMIP) 3(Bipy) (40 nm)/tris (8 hydroxyquinoline) aluminum (ALQ) (40 nm)/Mg∶Ag(200 nm)/Ag(100 nm) showed higher performance and a maximum luminance of 340 cd·m -2 at 18 V.

The Holocene lacustrine diatomaceous earth of Fayium, South West of Cairo, has been studied to define its minerals, chemistry, petrography and physical properties. Minerals were processed by way of calcination at 550℃, followed by acid leaching to reduce levels of mineral impurities. The diatomite is of biogenic opal A, with calcite as the main gangue mineral, quartz and clay minerals (smectite followed by kaolinite in abundance and a trace amount of illite). Silica in the diatomaceous earth accounts for about 63% on average.\; Positive correlation between CaO and CO\-2 indicates that Ca is present mainly as calcite. Al\-2O\-3, Fe\-2O\-3, MgO and k\-2O are attributed mainly to clay minerals. However, the physical properties of the diatomaceous earth as filter aids and filler for paints and plastics are poor because of general high levels of impurities. The technological performances of the diatomaceous earth have been significantly improved owing to upgrading of diatoms through mineral processing trials.

The human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)is overexpressed in 25%e30%of breast cancer ***-HER2 therapies have changed the aggressive course of HER2t breast *** spite of the therapeutic benefits,their cardiotoxicities are major concerns,especially when used concurrently with *** we present an elderly patient with relapsed HER2t breast *** presentation for relapsed disease was unusual for the physical finding as well as the history of trastuzumabinduced severe cardiotoxicity while requiring additional anti-HER2 *** received neoadjuvant anti-HER2 treatment for stage III breast *** to severe reduction of cardiac ejection fraction(EF),she only received five doses of adjuvant *** her disease relapsed one year later with chest wall lesions and a persistent low *** treated the patient with lapatinib combined with capecitabine which resulted rapid resolution of her chest wall *** importantly,the patient had one year of disease control without deterioration in her ejection *** discussed the management of recurrent HER2t breast cancer with chest wall disease and the choice of anti-HER2 therapy in patients with a history of transtuzumab-induced cardiac dysfunction.

Many initial value problems are difficult to be solved using ordinary,explicit step-by-step methods because most of these problems are considered *** implicit methods,however,are capable of solving stiff ordinary differential equations(ODEs)usually found in most applied *** study aims to develop a new numerical method,namely the high order variable step variable order block backward differentiation formula(VSVOHOBBDF)for the main purpose of approximating the solutions of third order *** computational work of the VSVO-HOBBDF method was carried out using the strategy of varying the step size and order in a single *** order of the proposed method was then discussed in *** advancement of this strategy is intended to enhance the efficiency of the proposed method to approximate solutions *** order to confirm the efficiency of the VSVO-HOBBDF method over the two ODE solvers in MATLAB,particularly ode15s and ode23s,a numerical experiment was conducted on a set of stiff *** numerical results prove that for this particular set of problem,the use of the proposed method is more efficient than the comparable ***-HOBBDF method is thus recommended as a reliable alternative solver for the third order ODEs.
