Objective: Although HR activities are known to enhance performance, this seems an often overlooked domain amongst physicians. Therefore, this cross-disciplinary interview study explores how physicians perceive high performance and what activities they find contributing to such performance. Methods: Drawing on HR and healthcare literature, we analysed in-depth interviews with 28 physicians and 7 HR professionals and hospital management representatives, following the grounded theory approach. Results: Our findings demonstrate physicians perceive high performance as a balance between quality of medical care and patient satisfaction and dedication and collaboration are indicated vital dimensions of high performance. Physicians offered suggestions regarding activities contributing to high performance. conclusion: This cross-disciplinary study recognized dedication and collaboration as crucial elements for physicians to perform to the best of their abilities. These findings suggest that high performance can only flourish when doctors are seen as committed professionals, with strong humanistic values rather than just as providers of medical care. The results of this research furthermore indicate that people management is critical, it is recommended that this should be executed through close collaboration of all those responsible.

An efficient algorithm is proposed for Bayesian model calibration,which is commonly used to estimate the model parameters of non-linear,computationally expensive models using measurement *** approach is based on Bayesian statistics:using a prior distribution and a likelihood,the posterior distribution is obtained through application of Bayes’*** novel algorithm to accurately determine this posterior requires significantly fewer discrete model evaluations than traditional Monte carlo *** key idea is to replace the expensive model by an interpolating surrogate model and to construct the interpolating nodal set maximizing the accuracy of the *** determine such a nodal set an extension to weighted Leja nodes is introduced,based on a new weighting *** prove that the convergence of the posterior has the same rate as the convergence of the *** the convergence of the posterior is measured in the Kullback–Leibler divergence,the rate *** algorithm and its theoretical properties are verified in three different test cases:analytical cases that confirm the correctness of the theoretical findings,Burgers’equation to show its applicability in implicit problems,and finally the calibration of the closure parameters of a turbulence model to show the effectiveness for computa-tionally expensive problems.

通过助移质粒PPK2013的推动,实现了携带豌豆根瘤菌（Rhizobium Legumi-nosarum）nif D::Tn5的质粒pRK2009由大肠杆菌（***）向棕色固氮菌Az-otobacter vinelandii的转移,转移频率为每受体7×10-5,进一步将与pRK2509不相容的质粒pPHLJi转入这个转移接合子,筛选得到了两株相同的棕色固氮菌的突变菌株。由表型特征分析和活性互补实验证明该突变菌株在染色体中含有豌豆根瘤茵nif D::Tn5,是两不同种固氮微生物的固氮基因即豌豆根瘤菌nif D与棕色固氮菌nif D之间发生同源性重组的结果

introduction. Turcot’s syndrome is characterized clinically by the concurrence of a primary brain tumor and a familial adenomatous polyposis or a hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer. Observation. We report a case of a 45-year-old woman who underwent in 1995 neuro-oncological treatment for an anaplastic astrocytoma (grade iii according to the World Health Organization classification). Treatment included complete surgery, radiotherapy, a first-line nitrosourea-based chemotherapy regimen and a second-line platinium salt-based regimen. it was then noted that the patient’s brother had colorectal cancer. A genetic study detected a germ-line mutation on the hMSH2 gene specific of HNPcc syndrome (Human Non Polyposis colorectal cancer). colonoscopy was normal. Eight years after the diagnosis, the patient developed a gliomatosis cerebri and died. conclusion. Relevant personal and familial history can provide the clue to the diagnosis of Turcot’s syndrome. Molecular diagnosis may contribute to appropriate care of affected patients.

背景：癌症患儿存活改善与多种治疗相关并发症相伴。然而，绝大多数有关癌症儿童生存率的研究仅局限于单一的远期效应。目的：在一个有完整的长期随访资料的大型儿童癌症生存队列中对癌症长期存活的不良预后（临床或亚临床病症）的总负荷进行评估。设计、地点及人群：于1362例已生存5年的儿童癌症患者中进行回顾性队列研究。患儿1966至1996年在荷兰一家医疗机构接受治疗。所有生存者均被邀请到晚期效应诊所进行不良事件医学评估。2004年1月以前发生的不良事件依据标准方式进行严重度分级。主要观测指标：随访结束时治疗别不良事件（依据严重性）的发生率以及各种治疗相关疾病高度或严重负荷（危险度92或危及生命或致残的不良事件≥1个）的相对危险度。结果：94．3％的生存者完成了随访（中位随访时间17年）。随访结束时中位年龄为24、4岁。大约75％的生存者有1个或更多不良事件，24．6％发生5个或以上不良事件。而且，40％的生存者至少有1个严重、危及生命或致残的不良事件。在接受单纯放疗的生存者中，55％的患者观察到高度或严重不良事件负荷。接受单纯化疗的生存者发生率为15％，而单纯手术治疗的存活者相应发生率则为25％（校正后相对危险分别为2．18[95％可信区间，1．62—2．95]和0．65[95％可信区间，0．46—0．90]）。不良事件高度或严重负荷最常见于骨肿瘤生存者（64％），较少见于白血病或Wilms瘤生存者（12％）。结论：在成年时，很大一部分儿童癌症生存者都存在高度或严重疾病负荷，尤其是在放疗后。这强调了对儿童癌症生存者根据危险分层进行终生医学监视的必要性。

Ben van Berkel曾就读于阿姆斯特丹Rietveld学院和伦敦建筑协会建筑学院(AA)。1988年,他和艺术历史学家caroline bos共同创立了UNStudio。1996年,他参与鹿特丹知名的伊拉斯谟大桥的外形设计,这深刻地影响了他对当代建筑的理解,从而形成自己独具一格的风格,亦成为UNStudio营运理念的基础。Ben van Berkel在许多知名的大学担任过客座讲师,与他人合作撰写了大量论文和专著。Benvan Berkel目前是德国法兰克福Staedelschule概念设计系的教授和建筑学院院长。而他在中国的第一个项目,已开始在杭州建设。
