The first-principles study of the structural, elastic and electronic properties of the M2XC phases depending on the type of M transition metal （M are Ti.a.d Cr） and on X （X are Ga and A1） was reported. The calculations are performed using the pseudo-potential plane-wave approach in both the local density and generalized gradient approxi.a.ions. The elastic constants are calculated using the static finite strain technique. Features such as structural and elastic parameters, Debye tem- perature, sound velocities and their pressure dependence have been investi.a.ed. in agreement with experimental and previous theoreti.a. findings, it is found that the compressibility along a and c axis depends on the valence electron concentration （VEC）. Correlations revealing the governing role of the X and M elements on the machi.a.ility indices of the material have been examined. The electronic properties have been discussed in terms of chemi.a. bonding showing that bonding is due to Md-Cp and Md-Xp hybridi.a.ions. M-C bonds are stiffer than M-X ones and A1-Ti （Cr-C） bonds are stiffer than those corresponding to Ti-C （A1-Cr）. it is shown that the stiffness of the M-X and M-C bonds increases with increasing the number of VEC.

Sili.a.sources influence different aspects of Al-MCM-41 product. The crystallinity of nanosized Al-MCM-41 zeolites prepared crystalli.a.ion and lead to change in the properties of the fi.a. from precursors mixtures containing different sili.a.sources, e.g. tetraethylorthosili.a.e （TEOS）, colloi.a. sili.a.（CS）, silicic acid （SA） and fumed sili.a.（FS） have been studied. The produced samples are investi.a.ed using XRD, SEM, FT-iR, pyridine adsorption and N2 physisorption. XRD results show that the products obtained from different sili.a.sources are in Al-MCM-41 phase. SEM results show that sili.a.sources influence the produced Al-MCM-41 shape. Using silicic acid leads to formation of spheri.a. crystals, TEOS gives cubi.a. crystals, colloi.a. sili.a.forms spheri.a. crystals with smaller aggregated, and fumed sili.a.gives rounded crystals. N2 physisorption results show that sili.a.sources influence pore-diameter and pore-volume of the produced Al-MCM-41 ; the pore diameter of the produced Al-MCM-41 in case of colloi.a. sili.a. TEOS, fumed sili.a. and silicic acid are 12, 20, 15, and 17A respectively. Also, the pore volume of the produced Ai-MCM-41 in case of colloi.a. sili.a. TEOS, fumed sili.a.and silicic acid are 0.78, 0.71, 0.76, and 0.8 cm^3/gm, respectively.

it is a great advantage to design advanced materials with outstanding porosity and controllable band gab. in this study, （Fe, Ti）-containing mesoporous sili.a.（x Fe/Ti-HMS） nanoparticles were prepared by a photo-assisted deposition PAD technique, where x is a nomi.a. composition ofFe （l to 4 wt%））. The prepared samples were characterized by DR-UV, XRD, and TEM techniques. The results showed the insertion of Fe into intra-framework of Ti-HMS resulted in a gradual narrowing of the band gap of Ti-HMS samples with increment of Fe wt%. TEM observations reveal that Fe nanoparticles are evenly distributed within Ti-HSM matrix at different Fe wt%. Such results indi.a.e the possibility to control the band gap of a single-site photocatalyst （Ti-HMS） by coupling it with the conventional nano-sized Fe catalysts.

The scientific community recognizes the seriousness of rockbursts and the need for effective miti.a.ion *** literature reports various successful appli.a.ions of machine learning(ML)models for rockburst assessment;however,a signifi.a.t question remains unanswered:How reliable are these models,and at what confidence level are classifi.a.ions made?Typi.a.ly,ML models output single rockburst grade even in the face of intri.a.e and out-of-distribution samples,without any associated confidence *** the susceptibility of ML models to errors,it becomes imperative to quantify their uncertainty to prevent consequential *** address this issue,we propose a conformal prediction(CP)framework built on traditional ML models(extreme gradient boosting and random forest)to generate valid classifi.a.ions of rockburst while producing a measure of confidence for its *** proposed framework guarantees margi.a. coverage and,in most cases,conditional coverage on the test *** CP was evaluated on a rockburst case in the Sanshandao Gold Mine in Chi.a.where it achieved high coverage and efficiency at appli.a.le confidence ***,the CP identified several“confident”classifi.a.ions from the traditional ML model as unreliable,necessi.a.ing expert verifi.a.ion for informed *** proposed framework improves the reliability and accuracy of rockburst assessments,with the potential to bolster user confidence.

An illness known as pneumonia causes inflammation in the *** there is so much information avai.a.le fromvarious X-ray i.a.es,diagnosing pneumonia has typi.a.ly proven *** improve i.a.e quality and speed up the diagnosis of pneumonia,numerous approaches have been *** date,several methods have been employed to identify *** Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)has achieved outstanding success in identifying and diagnosing diseases in the fields of medicine and ***,these methods are complex,inefficient,and imprecise to analyze a big number of *** this paper,a new hybrid method for the automatic classifi.a.ion and identifi.a.ion of Pneumonia from chest X-ray i.a.es is *** proposed method(ABOCNN)utilized theAfri.a. BuffaloOptimi.a.ion(ABO)algorithmto enhanceCNNperformance and *** Weinmed filter is employed for pre-processing to elimi.a.e unwanted noises from chest X-ray i.a.es,followed by feature extraction using the Grey Level Co-Occurrence Matrix(GLCM)*** features are then selected from the dataset using the ABO algorithm,and ulti.a.ely,high-performance deep learning using the CNN approach is introduced for the classifi.a.ion and identifi.a.ion of *** results on various datasets showed that,when contrasted to other approaches,the ABO-CNN outperforms them all for the classifi.a.ion *** proposed method exhibits superior values like 96.95%,88%,86%,and 86%for accuracy,precision,recall,and F1-score,respectively.

Purpose:Many techniques have been described for the reconstruction of chronic lateral collateral li.a.ent(LCL)rupture with different autograft *** advantages of percutaneous LCL reconstruction include small incisions,mini.a. soft tissue disruption,less postoperative pain,and speedy rehabili.a.ion and *** aim of this study was to report the functional outcome of percutaneous LCL reconstruction and overall patient satisfaction in ***:This prospective and interventional study involving 51 patients with chronic LCL rupture who had percutaneous LCL reconstruction using peroneus longus autograft was conducted between January 2021 and December 2022 in National Orthopaedic Hospi.a.,Dala-Kano,*** inclusion criteria were patients between the ages of 18 and 45 years with chronic isolated LCL and not more than 1 injury of knee *** criteria were active infection,and multi-li.a.ent knee injury requiring 2-staged *** knee functions were assessed preoperatively,3 months,6 months,and 12 months postoperatively using the Lysholm scoring *** satisfaction with the outcome of the treatment was assessed using a 5-point Likert *** information was recorded into Microsoft Excel sheet and data was analyzed using SPSS version 23.0 for *** paired samples t-test was used to compare the clini.a. outcomes as continuous *** signifi.a.ce was considered at pients was(30.10±5.90)*** median time from injury to surgery was 7 months(ranging from 3 to 28 months).The mean follow-up period was(14.07±3.13)*** mean preoperative and 1-year postoperative Lysholm scores were 44.33±12.97 and 97.96±1.23,***:Percutaneous LCL reconstruction using peroneus longus autograft signifi.a.tly improves patient knee function and results in excellent patient satisfaction。

This work reports the synthesis,characteri.a.ion,and energy focused appli.a.ions of the novel lanthanides co-doped tantalum pentoxide hetero-system(Sm^(3+)-Eu^(3+)-Tm^(3+):Ta_(2)O_(5)).Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)O_(5) express excellent opto-electronic features reflected by the narrow band gap energy of 3.87 *** vibrations confirm the presence of Ta-O-Ta and Ta-O *** synthesized system possesses orthorhombic geometry with 59.46 nm particle *** the smoother and compact morphology,the synthesized material succeeds in augmenting the performance of different systems aimed at energy *** ambient perovskite solar cell device fabri.a.ed with the Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)O_(5) as an electron transport layer excels in achieving an efficiency and fill factor of 14.17% and 76% under artificial *** device was marked by the negligible hysteresis behavior showing profound photovoltaic *** electrochemi.a. activity of the Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)O_(5) decorated electrode was evaluated for electri.a. charge storage potential with pseudocapacitive behavior,With the highest specific capaci.a.ce of 355.39 F/g and quicker ionic diffusion rate,the designed electrode excels conventionally used ***-catalysis of water with Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)O_(5) material indi.a.es its capacity for H_(2) production with the lowest overpotential and Tafel slope values of 148 and 121.2 mV/dec,while the O_(2) generation is comparatively *** the stable electrochemi.a. output,this rare earth modified material has the potential to replace conventionally used environmentally perilous and costly materials.
