Breast cancer i. a m.jor publi. health problem.because of i.s i.ci.ence and m.rtali.y. Purpose: To establi.h the epi.em.0}logi.al and cli.i.al characteri.ti.s of breast cancer seen at the radi.therapy center at the m.li.Hospi.al of Bam.ko. Pati.nts and m.thods: i. was a retrospecti.e, descri.ti.e study of data from.pati.nts seen for breast cancer at the Center of Radi.therapy of m.li.Hospi.al between Apri. 2014 and Decem.er 2016. The param.ters studi.d were: age, sex, fam.0}y hi.tory of breast cancer, m.nopausal status, pari.y, breast tum.r locati.n, hi.tologi.al type, hi.tologi.al grade, cancer classi.i.ati.n stage. Results: 134 cases of breast cancer were collected, wi.h a frequency of 15%. The sex rati. (H/F) of 0.007. The pati.nt’s m.an age was 47 ± 11 years old. The m.st represented age groups were 33 - 47 years old wi.h 45.5% and 48 - 62 years old wi.h 39%. Three percent (3%) of pati.nts had a fam.0}y hi.tory of breast cancer. Fi.ty (50%) of the pati.nts were m.nopausal. The m.i. cli.i.al si.ns found were : m.m.ary nodules (98%), m.stodyni. (65%), nodes (67%). i.vasi.e ductal carci.om.s were found i. 94% of pati.nts, followed by i.fi.trati.g lobular carci.om.s wi.h 3.7% and m.taplasti. carci.om.s wi.h 1.7%. SBR Grades i. and i.i.were m.stly found wi.h 37% and 23%. The average tum.r si.e was 87 m. ± 43. Stage i.i.was predom.0}antly represented wi.h 72%, followed by Stage i. wi.h 24% and Stages i.and i. wi.h 2% each. Conclusi.n: Breast cancer i. com.on and reaches both before and after 50 years;the di.gnosi. i. usually late;hence i. i. the i.portance of rai.i.g awareness and screeni.g before the age of 50 and populari.i.g som. com.lem.ntary tests to better understand the prognosi. of thi. di.ease and prom.te m.re targeted and conservati.e treatm.nts that wi.l i.prove survi.al.

Hypofracti.nated radi.ti.n therapy has proven effecti.e on locoregi.nal control and tolerance i. the adjuvant treatm.nt of breast cancer. The ai. of thi. study i. to com.are the results of hypofracti.nated radi.ti.n therapy versus conventi.nal radi.ti.n therapy i. term. of local control and tolerance. i. was a retrospecti.e study of pati.nts observati.ns collected from.January 2007 to Decem.er 2008 i. Departm.nt of Radi.ti.n Therapy i. i.sti.ut Nati.nal d’Oncologi. de Rabat. The treatm.nt results were evaluated by the rate of locoregi.nal recurrence, di.tant recurrence and research of late toxi.i.i.s. Radi.therapy was deli.ered usi.g the sam. techni.ue i. both groups, by gam.a photons of cobalt 60 wi.h an energy of 1.25 m.V. They were 2 groups: the fi.st group treated wi.h standard dose rate and the second group treated by hypofracti.nated radi.ti.n therapy. The m.an age of the pati.nts was 42.8 ± 6.9 years old i. the standard group and 43.22 ± 7.2 years old i. the hypofracti.nati.n group. We noted a predom.0}ance of i.fi.trati.g ductal carci.om.. The m.jori.y of pati.nts were pT2, pN0 and pN1. The m.jori.y of pati.nts had radi.al surgery and chem.therapy wi.h anthracycli.es i. both groups. We noted a stati.ti.ally si.ni.i.ant di.ference i. the i.radi.ti.n of chest wall between the standard (89.2%) and hypofracti.nated group (70.3%), wi.h p = 0.043. The m.di.n durati.n of radi.ti.n therapy was stati.ti.ally di.ferent i. both groups: 39 days i. the standard and 23 days i. the hypofracti.nated group (p 0.001). The local recurrences were stati.ti.ally i.enti.al to 12 and 24 m.nths (p = 0.999). Concerni.g toxi.i.i.s, the frequency of adverse event was si.i.ar i. both groups. Hypofracti.nated radi.ti.n therapy wi.h a total dose of 42 Gy at 2.8 Gy per fracti.n i. 5 fracti.ns weekly i. com.arable to standard radi.therapy i. term. of local control and tolerance and i. therefore a very good alternati.e to standard treatm.nt.

Cervi.al cancer rem.i.s a m.jor publi. health problem.i. Afri.a, parti.ularly i. m.li. The goal of thi. work was to i.vesti.ate the epi.em.0}logi.al and cli.i.al aspects of cervi. cancer seen at the radi.ti.n therapy center. Thi. was a descri.ti.e study on the retrospecti.e collecti.n of data on pati.nts found i. the Radi.ti.n Therapy Centre of Bam.ko, for i.vasi.e cervi.al cancer be-tween Apri. 2014 and Apri. 2017. The average age of our populati.n was 52 ± 12.5 years wi.h extrem.s ranges from.18 to 95 years. The m.st represented age group was [50 - 65 years] wi.h 44.2%. The predom.0}ant hi.tologi.al type was squam.us carci.om. (CE) wi.h 94.2%. Bleedi.g were found i. alm.st all pati.nts, m.st often associ.ted wi.h foul sm.lli.g hydrorrhea;80.3% of our pati.nts were stage i.i.and 12.9% of stage i. accordi.g to the i.GO classi.i.cati.n. Cervi. cancer rem.i.s a m.jor publi. health problem.i. m.li. The di.agnosi. i. often late, therefore, resulti.g i. late care and unfavorable progno-si.. Sensi.i.ati.n, vulgari.ati.n of vacci.ati.n and system.ti.ati.n of screen-i.g could be helpful i. the fi.ht agai.st thi. cancer.

i.troducti.n: Acute coronary syndrom. i. often the fi.st event of coronary di.ease of young subjects. Objecti.e: To study soci.dem.graphi., cli.i.al, paracli.i.al, therapeuti. and evoluti.nary aspects of acute coronary syndrom. of young subjects. Pati.nts and m.thods: Descri.ti.e cross-secti.nal study wi.h prospecti.e recrui.m.nt from.October 01, 2020 to m.rch 31, 2022. Were i.cluded all pati.nts adm.0}ted for acute coronary syndrom. whose age was less or equal to 45 years and who had undergone coronary angi.graphy at the m.ther-Chi.d Uni.ersi.y Hospi.al on Luxem.ourg from.Bam.ko. Results: Duri.g the study peri.d, we collected 60 pati.nt fi.es out of 198. These 60 pati.nt fi.es m.t our i.clusi.n cri.eri.. Hospi.al frequency was 30.30%. Average age of pati.nts was 40.43 ± 3.9 years. Sex rati. m.F was 5.3. m.i. cardi.vascular ri.k factor was sm.ki.g tobacco (23.42%), followed by dysli.i.em.0} (13.92%). Functi.nal si.ns were dom.0}ated by angi.a 62% followed by dyspnea 25.3%. Persi.tent ST-segm.nt elevati.n on electrocardi.gram.was present i. 76.4%. Left ventri.ular systoli. dysfuncti.n was present i. 26.5%. Ti.e to fi.st m.di.al contact was m.re than 12 hours i. 62.7% of cases. Radi.l approach was adopted i. 94% of cases. Coronary angi.graphy was pathologi.al i. 85% (n = 51) of cases. Lesi.ns were si.gle-vessel di.ease i. 47.1% and culpri. artery was anteri.r i.terventri.ular i. 51% of cases. Dual anti.platelet aggregati.n was aspi.i. and ti.agrelor i. 91.8% of cases. Angi.plasty was perform.d i. all pati.nts who had si.ni.i.ant abnorm.li.i.s at coronary angi.graphy. i.-hospi.al m.rtali.y was 3.9%. Conclusi.n: Acute coronary syndrom.s exi.t i. young Afri.ans wi.h a m.le predom.0}ance. m.i. cardi.vascular ri.k factor i. sm.ki.g tobacco. i. m.li. cholesteatom. surgery rem.i.s a challenge due to the li.i.ed num.er of otologi.al practi.i.ners, and the low soci.-econom.0} level of pati.nts reflecti.g the di.fi.ulti.s i. perform.0}g CT or m.i.for post-operati.e follow-up. We therefore i.i.i.ted thi. work wi.h the objecti.e of analyzi.g, through a broad bi.li.graphi. revi.w, the cli.i.al, paracli.i.al, topographi.al, therapeuti. and progressi.e aspects of a seri.s of ear cholesteatom.. m.teri.ls and m.thod: Thi. was a retrospecti.e and prospecti.e, descri.ti.e study that took place i. the ENT and head and neck surgery departm.nt of the Gabri.l Touré Uni.ersi.y Hospi.al over 36 m.nths from.Novem.er 2020 to October 2023. These were pati.nts adm.0}ted to the departm.nt for chroni. cholestem.tous oti.i. m.di.. Result: i. total, we collected 34 fi.es of pati.nts adm.0}ted for cholesteatom.. Thi. represented 9% of cases com.ared to all otologi.al surgeri.s carri.d out duri.g the sam. peri.d, i.e. 362 cases. The average age of our pati.nts was 35.31 years, wi.h extrem.s rangi.g from.7 years to 80 years, there were 24 m.n and 10 wom.n, i.e. a m.F rati. of 2.4. The average ti.e to di.gnosi. was 7 years. The m.i. functi.nal si.ns were dom.0}ated by chroni. feti. purulent otorrhea associ.ted wi.h hypoacusi. i. 94.6% of cases. One case of m.ni.geal com.li.ati.n and three cases of cerebral em.yem. were reported. Cli.i.ally, a postero-superi.r and m.rgi.al tym.ani. perforati.n was observed i. 53%, a retracti.n pocket i. 5.9%, the senti.el polyp i. 9%, and a non-m.rgi.al tym.ani. perforati.n i. 32%. Pure-tone audi.m.try perform.d preoperati.ely for all pati.nts showed conducti.e heari.g loss i. 83%. i. 82% of cases we created a recess wi.h the creati.n of a m.0}i.box. An ossi.uloplasty was perform.d i.m.di.tely wi.h fragm.nts of carti.age. Cervi.al m.ni.goceles are the least com.on form. of spi.a bi.i.a, representi.g between 4% to 8% of all spi.al dysraphi.m.. They are not accom.ani.d by neurologi.al defi.i. i. chi.dhood but attached cord syndrom. can occur wi.h growth. Surgi.al treatm.nt, i. addi.i.n to avoi.i.g rupture and correcti.g the aestheti. dam.ge, wi.l preserve neurologi.al functi.ns. We report 2 cases that we took care of. They are a 5-m.nth-old i.fant and a 3-year-old gi.l. The fi.st presented a 7 cm.rounded m.ni.gocele pedunculated through the C1 lam.0}a defect. The second presented an 8.6 cm.polylobed m.ni.gocele pedunculated through the C2 lam.0}a defect. They both underwent surgery wi.h good progress.

Pregnancy, whi.h i. responsi.le for the decli.e i. i.m.ni.y, and the i.m.di.te postpartum.peri.d can lead to reacti.ati.n or worseni.g of tuberculosi.. We report a case of a pati.nt who consulted for neurologi.al di.orders i. the context of a deteri.rati.n i. general condi.i.n. The CT scan revealed a brai.stem.lesi.n whi.h was successfully treated li.e a tuberculosi.. However, reacti.ati.n has been observed i. the postpartum.peri.d of a pregnancy contracted duri.g anti.tuberculosi. treatm.nt. Further cli.i.al i.provem.nt has been achi.ved wi.h anti.tuberculosi. treatm.nt. Pregnancy and the i.m.di.te postpartum.had led to a transi.nt decli.e i. i.m.ni.y i. part by decreasi.g i. the i.flam.atory acti.i.y of type 1 helper T cells so that the fetus, whi.h i. a forei.n body, was accepted by the m.ternal body. Thi. decli.e i. i.m.ni.y duri.g pregnancy and the i.m.di.te postpartum.peri.d due to i.m.ne reconsti.uti.n had been responsi.le for a hi.h degree of vulnerabi.i.y, usually characteri.ed by a si.ni.i.ant exacerbati.n of tuberculosi. sym.tom. and an unfavorable course of di.ease.

Objecti.es: Thi. work was carri.d out i. order to determ.0}e the profi.e of di.ferent HPV genotypes i. a populati.n of wom.n attendi.g radi.therapy (RT). m.teri.l and m.thods: Thi. i. a retrospecti.e study. Si.ty paraffi. blocks were chosen by si.ple random.m.thod upon 1015 blocks of cervi. cancer di.gnosed i. Senegal’s publi. hospi.als laboratori.s of anatom.pathology. The strai.s of HPV genotypi.g were done wi.h polym.rase chai. reacti.n (PCR) m.lti.lex usi.g pri.ers m.09-m.11, GP5+ and GP6+. Results: Am.ng the si.ty exam.0}ed blocks, DNA extracti.n was unsati.factory i. three cases. All wom.n were i.fected wi.h HPV hi.h ri.k (HR). The di.ferent HPV genotypes i.olated were HPV 16 (49/96%), 18 (8/16%), 35 (7/14%), 45 (4/8%), and 58 (2/4%). i. was a si.gle i.fecti.n i. 36 cases (70, 60%), co-i.fecti.n i. 11 cases (21, 60%) and a m.lti.i.fecti.n i. 4 cases (7, 80%). Conclusi.n: The prevalence of HPV found i. our seri.s i. com.arable to that found i. the world. To com.lete thi. study, a large populati.n of Senegalese pati.nts wi.h uteri.e cervi. cancer (CC) and HPV genotype, i. needed to determ.0}e i. HPV genotypes could be consi.ered as a prognosti. m.rker i. pati.nts wi.h uteri.e CC after RT.
