in this work, we investigate the effects of interplay of spin-orbit interaction and in-plane magnetic fields on the electronic structure and spin texturing of parabolically confined quantum wire. Numerical results reveal that the competing effects between Rashba and Dresselhaus spin--orbit interactions and the external magnetic field lead to a complicated energy spectrum. We find that the spin texturing owing to the coupling between subbands can be modified by the strength of spin- orbit couplings as well as the magnitude and the orientation angle of the external magnetic field.

We calculate the exciton binding energy and interband optical absorption in a rectangular coupled quantum wire under the hydrostatic pressure in the effective-mass approximation, using the variational approach. it is found that the interband optical absorption strongly depend on the hydrostatic pressure and the coupling parameter, and that the magnitude of the absorption coefficient for the HH1-E1 transition in the coupled quantum wire is larger than that of the single quantum wire.

There has been increasing interest, both exper- imentally and theoretically, in the investigation of low-dimensional semiconductor heterostructures due to their intrinsic physical properties and technological applications in electronic and optoelectronic devices. The studies on quantum heterostructures have opened a new field in fundamental physics, and also offer a wide range of potential applications for optoelectronic devices. By varying the profile of a semiconductor quantum well （QW）, both the subband state energies and their wave functions change, and so do various physical properties depending on them.

We theoretically investigate the electronic properties of p-type δ-doped GaAs inserted into a quantum well under the electric field, at T = 0 K. We will investigate the influence of the electric field on the δ-doping concentration for a uniform distribution. The depth of confining potential, the density profile, the Fermi level, the subband energies and the subband populations calculate by solving the Schrodinger and Poisson equations self consistently. it is found that the changes of the electronic properties are quite sensitive to the applied electric field and the doping concentration. As different from single n-type δ-doped structure, we see a replace between the ground light-hole （lh1 ） subband and the first excited heavy-hole （hh2） subband whenever the external electric field reaches a critical value. We find the abrupt changing of the subband energies and the subband populations whenever the applied electric field reaches a certain value. Also, it is found that the heavy-hole subbands contain many more energy states than the light-hole ones, the population of the heavy-hole levels represent approximately 91% of all the carriers.

in order to evaluate the effects of exogenous indole butyric acid （iBA） and callus formation on the antioxidant activity, total phenolics, and anthocyanin constituents of Morus nigra L. and M. alba L. cuttings, we investigated the variations before and after the treatment. The results indicate that anti-oxidant ability, total phenolic, and anthocyanin constituents of the callus stems of both Morus species were higher than those of non-callus forming species. There were also increases observed in anti-oxidant ability, total phenolic, and anthocyanin constituents of calli treated with iBA （1 000-3 000 mg/L）.

in this work we will theoretically study the ground-state electronic structure of three-electron polygonal quantum dots by means of the configuration interaction method. Transition from a weakly correlated regime to a strongly correlated regime is investigated for quantum dots with hexagonal, square, and triangular geometries. Our numerical results reveal that the ground-state spin and the charge density distribution of the system are sensitive to the shape of the quantum dot.

AiM:To investigate the P wave dispersion as a non-invasive marker of intra-atrial conduction disturbances in patients with Wilson's disease. METHODS:We compared Wilson's disease patients (n = 18) with age matched healthy subjects (n = 15) as controls. The diagnosis was based on clinical symptoms, laboratory tests (ceruloplasmin, urinary and hepatic copper concentrations). P wave dispersion, a measurement of the heterogeneity of atrial depolarization, was measured as the difference between the duration of the longest and the shortest P-waves in 12 lead electrocardiography. RESULTS:All the patients were asymptomatic on cardiological examination and have sinusal rhythm in electrocardiography. Left ventricular and left atrial diameters, left ventricular ejection fraction and left ventricular mass index were similar in both groups. The Wilson's disease patients had a significantly higher P wave dispersion compared with the controls (44.7 ± 5.8 vs 25.7 ± 2.5, P iON:There was an increase in P wave dispersion in cardiologically asymptomatic Wilson's disease patients which probably represents an early stage of cardiac involvement.

Objective:This descriptive study reveals how nurses working in public hospitals rated their practice environments with respect to nurse-friendly hospital ***:This study was conducted on 460 nurses volunteering to participate this study among 735 nurses working in inpatient wards of three public *** were collected using a personal information form and the Adapted Nursing Work ***,percentages,means and standard deviations,t-test and one-way variance analysis were used to evaluate the ***:Among the nurse-friendly hospital criteria,‘control of nursing practice’,‘middle management accountability’and‘quality initiatives’had the highest mean scores,and‘competitive wages’had the lowest mean *** assessments of the nurses presented statistically significant differences with respect to personal and occupational ***:The nurses found most of the nurse-friendly hospital criteria adequate,but they believed that several areas needed improvement.

A computer-based technology management system is needed to manage technology assessment, technology acquisition, and technology planning capabilities to shape and accomplish the strategic and operational objectives of an organization. During the design of technology management intelligence, it has appeared that there has been a need to establish an integrated and systematic approach. The Open Group Architecture Framework （TOGAF） provides this systematic approach to the planning, development, implementation, and governance of the enterprise architecture. This exploratory paper examines the TOGAF approach to develop a technology management architecture in a product development organization. The paper discusses the development and proactive governance of the technology management architecture from various perspectives such as architecture capability, architecture development, transition planning, and architecture implementation. The paper presents a TOGAF based governance framework for the technology management system in an organization that develops s0ft＇ware-intensive systems. The framework supports an iterative approach in the architecture capability, architecture development, transition planning, and architecture implementation phases. The implementation governance phase can deal with multiple projects simultaneously. Therefore, the framework suggests applying agile system development principles to the projects that develop and deploy the architecture-compliant technology management solutions. The proposed framework helps organizations to design and implement a technology management architecture that meets the needs of the business. The framework also aims to simplify development and maintenance processes of a technology management system.
