Anticancer activity test of ethyl acetate extract of endophytic fungi isolated from soursop leaf(Annona muricata L.)

Objective: To analyze anticancer activity of an ethyl acetate extract of endophytic fungi isolated from soursop leaf(Annona muricata L.). Methods: Anticancer activity of fungal extracts was determined by observing its toxicity against MCF-7(Michigan Cancer Foundation-7) cells in vitro by using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) assay method. At an extract concentration of 100 μg/m L, 4 isolates out of 12 showed high activity against the cancer cell growth. The four isolates were then selected for further iC50 determination, by measuring the inhibition of cancer cell proliferation at extract concentration of 25 μg/m L, 50 μg/m L, 100 μg/m L, 200 μg/m L and 400 μg/m L. Results: Results showed that isolate Sir-G5 had the highest anticancer activity with an iC50 of 19.20 μg/m L. The best isolates were screened again using a normal cell(Chang cells) to determine its toxicity against normal cells. Results indicated that the extracts do not affect the proliferation of normal cells. Molecular identification showed that the fungal isolate Sir-G5 has a close relationship with Phomopsis sp. Conclusions: The endophytic fungi isolated from soursop leaf has the potential to be used as a source of anticancer agents.

Employability Skills Needed by Higher Vocational Education Graduates to Be Successful in the Workplace

The current issues in workforce development are on high competence not only in technical skills, but also in non-technical skills. The term of non-technical skills is also called as employability skills. The research with topic analysis and development ofemployability skills of polytechnic students aims to： describe supervisors＇ perceptions of the importance of the employability skills needed in the workplace; describe supervisors＇ perceptions of the students＇ level of competence at performing the employability skills; and find the attributes of employability skills that are need to prioritize for development. Research sample has been selected by using a stratified random sampling from the supervisor of last year students when they are on the job training in industry. Total 146 supervisors participated in this research. The Employability Skills Questionnaire with a five-point Liken scale was used to assess perceptions level of importance of identified employability skills and students＇ level of competence. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, means and standard deviations, and priority development analysis. Three main groups of the employability skills with highest important level are： workplace health and safety, self-management, and team working. Students have a high level of competence in occupational health and safety, self-management and learning skills. There are three attributes of employability skills in high priority category for developed： knowing the benefits of computer application programs are needed in the work, taking the initiative in organizing activities, and participating in learning activities to gain new experience.

This study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to biodiesel blends made from dairy milk scum on performance and combustion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al2O3nanoparticles in B20 blends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** number of blends were prepared for the *** Machine learning algorithms(Random Forest（RF）and CatBoost) was used for the *** results show that in comparison to biodiesel blends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel blends with *** these Fuel blends have higher calorific *** blends exhibited reduced Brake Specific Fuel Consumption（BSFC） of2.85% than the blends without nano particles(Dairy Scum Methyl Ester Biodiesel 20%+Neat Diesel 80%（in volume）,DSMEB20),57.14% less CO,40.8% less hydrocarbon,and increased NOxemissions compared to conventional diesel,contributing to the development of environmentally friendly and renewable biofuel blends with *** B20NP30 is the optimal blend for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced Brake Thermal Efficiency（BTE） of 26.29% in 3×10-5（in volume） Al2O3nanoparticle-blended DSME B20 and other DSME B20 fuel blends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures（BTE,BSFC）,and emissions（CO,CO2,NOx,Smoke） are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for BTE and BSFC shows that CatBoost-based BTE models perform superior to RF-based models during the training as well as testing *** results were obtained for CO and CO2emission results.

Peer pressure and academic stress among junior high school students:a cross-sectional study

Objective:The objective of the study was to explore the connection between peer pressure and academic stress among junior high school ***:This descriptive correlational study was conducted to investigate the link between perceived peer pressure and academic *** study involved a total of 525 adolescents,aged 14-19 years,drawn from 6 public junior high schools(PJHS)in Padang,indonesia,using purposive *** stress and perceived peer pressure were assessed using the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents(ESSA)and the Perceived Peer Pressure Scale(PPPS).Results:The findings indicated significant variations in stress levels among students in different grade levels(7th,8th,and 9th grades)(Pile there were no noteworthy differences in peer pressure across these grade levels(P>0.05).Additionally,there was a positive correlation observed between perceived peer pressure and academic stress(r=0.14,Piple regression analyses,incorporating demographic variables and perceived peer pressure as independent factors,yielded statistically significant results(adjusted R^(2)=0.082,F=4.33,Pirect impact on academic stress among adolescents,with class level and parents’educational background mediating the relationship between academic stress and adolescent behavioral ***:These findings underscore the importance of addressing both external and internal factors at the individual,family,school,and societal levels to enhance adolescents’psychological resilience and mitigate problem behaviors.

Oketani massage with jasmine oil improves breast milk production on postpartum days 1-3

Objective:This study aimed to determine the effect of Oketani massage with jasmine oil on improving breast milk production on days *** and Methods:This preexperimental one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted with 44 eligible respondents,selected using an incidental sampling *** massage with jasmine oil was conducted once a day for 3 consecutive days.A total of 44 respondents were selected with incidental *** breast milk production was observed through the frequency of baby urination in 24 h,the frequency of baby defecation in 24 h,the baby’s weight,and the length of time the baby slept or remained calm after ***:Results showed that Oketani massage using jasmine oil impacted on increasing breast milk production in postpartum on days 1-3(Z=6.633,P=0.000).The baby’s weight in 3 days was increased after intervention compared with intervention before(2858.25±180.62 g vs.2881.66±180.96 g,t=55.33,P=0.000),the baby’s urination frequency was increased after intervention(4.55±0.50 vs.7.20±0.70,t=17.87,P=0.000),the breastfeeding frequency has decreased(10.27±1.42 vs.8.82±0.82,t=6.94,P=0.000),and the time of baby’s sleeping or calming state has increased(5.14±6.46 h vs.8.48±10.24 h,t=2.11,P=0.041).Conclusion:Oketani massage combined with jasmine oil has been shown to be effective on improving breast milk production on days 1-3.

Penetrating keratoplasty in children under 3 years old with congenital corneal opacities

AiM:To evaluate the graft rejection and visual outcomes after penetrating keratoplasty(PK)in the presence of various congenital corneal opacities in ***:in this retrospective cohort study,children who underwent PK were then followed for 5 *** patient’s medical records were collected from June 2014 until June 2019 and analyzed in December *** patients were children under three years old with congenital corneal opacities with or without microcornea who came to a pediatric ophthalmologist and underwent PK in Jakarta Eye Center(JEC).Beforehand,all children have participated in a thorough evaluation for *** the case of severe microcornea was not advised to undergo *** visual outcomes and graft survival rate were described in *** graft survival plot was presented with Kaplan-Meier,while the visual acuity was analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed ranks ***:Sixteen eyes from eleven patients(seven girls and four boys)underwent *** graft survival rate of the first 6,12,and 18 mo later of keratoplasty was 100%,83.3%,and 66.7%,*** overall mean survival time is 22 mo(standard error 2.419),and no significant difference between the patients underwent PK before and after 36 mo of their age(P=0.52).The graft failure was 50%,and postsurgery complications included cataract 43.7%,band keratopathy 12.5%,and scleromalasia 6.25%.Wilcoxon test analysis of visual acuity post keratoplasty was not statistically significant(P=0.34),while overall showed 44%improvements of visual outcome for 5 y of *** a good survival at one year up to 22 mo(83.3%),the visual acuity could be achieved(63%),and showed improvements(44%)during ***:The complications are frequent for pediatric ***,corneal surgery on infants requires careful case selection,adequate pre-operative evaluation,skilled surgery(optical correction),very close cooperation family–physician,intensive post-operation care,and amblyopia management in the

Vehicle Speed Observation Models Based on the Data on the Smartphone GPS

The development of GPS （global positioning system） receiver now can be integrated on a smartphone. GPS receiver on smartphones has been developed for location-based applications. Smartphones are very suitable to be used as an experimental tool, because smartphones are usually equipped with various types of sensors. This paper proposes a model observation vehicle speed on a road section based on the GPS data on the smartphone. Observations made by calculating the speed of the speed of vehicles moving through the data transfer at the GPS location of the smartphone, the data are then sent periodically to the server and server processing and storage of vehicle speed data. After tested with test reliability indicators use RMSE, observations with model observations speed, speed based on GPS data on a smartphone are relevant when compared with the speed directly from the vehicle＇s speedometer with the difference between the value of the difference of speed that is 3.1785 km/h.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection among children under fifteen years of age:A population-based study in indonesia

Objective:To assess the prevalence of Mycobacterium(M.)tuberculosis infection and its associated risks in children under fifteen years of ***:Based on secondary data from the 2018 indonesian Basic Health Survey(RiSKESDAS 2018),this cross-sectional study employed *** infection in children as a dependent variable and age level,sex,region,location,family case positive,and smoking as independent *** analysis was applied to show the prevalence of *** infection and multivariate regression was performed to analyze the risk factors of getting the infection among children under 15 years of ***:Prevalence ranges of *** infection among children aged 0-14 years,babies(ageildren aged between 5 and 14 years were 0.03%to 0.57%,0%to 0.64%,0%to 0.78%,and 0.01%to 0.53%,respectively in indonesia.A high prevalence of *** infection among children under 15 years of age was found in Papua and other provinces,such as Kalimantan and *** with tuberculosis family members was positively associated with *** infection in children as shown by multivariate logistic regression(OR 8.94;95%Ci 5.4-14.6,Pions:Contacting with family member who has tuberculosis is related with *** infection among children in ***,screening the household for contact with tuberculosis patients is a preventive treatment for children.

Structural and Optical Characterization of Zn1—xCdxO Thin Films Deposited by dc Reactive Magnetron Sputtering

Zn1-xCdxO crystal thin films with different compositions were prepared on silicon and sapphire substrates by the dc reactive magnetron sputtering technique. X-ray diffraction measurements show that the Zn1-xCdxO films are of completely (002)-preferred orientation for x≤0.6. For x = 0.8, the film is a mixture of ZnO hexagonal wurtzite crystals and CdO cubic crystals. For pure CdO, it is highly (200) preferential-oriented. Photoluminescence spectrum measurement shows that the Zn1-xCdxO (x = 0.2) thin film has a redshift of 0.14eV from that of ZnO reported previously.
