This study proposes a novel nature-inspired meta-heuristic optimizer based on the Reptile Search Algorithm combed with Salp Swarm Algorithm for image segmentation using gray-scale multi-level thresholding,called *** proposed method introduces a better search space to find the optimal solution at each ***,we proposed RSA-SSA to avoid the searching problem in the same area and determine the optimal multi-level *** obtained solutions by the proposed method are represented using the image *** proposed RSA-SSA employed Otsu’s variance class function to get the best threshold values at each *** performance measure for the proposed method is valid by detecting fitness function,structural similarity index,peak signal-to-noise ratio,and Friedman ranking *** benchmark images of COVID-19 validate the performance of the proposed *** results showed that the proposed RSA-SSA outperformed other metaheuristics optimization algorithms published in the literature.

Resveratrol Modulates Bone Mineral Density and Bone Mineral Content in A Rat Model of Male Hypogonadism

Objective: To determine whether resveratrol(Res) can correct osteoporosis induced in a rat model of male hypogonadism. Methods: Thirty-two rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, 8 in each group;1) a control sham group: underwent a similar surgical procedure for induction of orchiectomy(ORCD) without ligation of any arteries or veins or removal of the testis and epididymis;2) a control + Res-treated group(Con+Res):underwent sham surgery similar to the control, but was then treated with Res, as described below;3) an ORCDinduced group: bilateral ORCD surgery as described above, and 4) a ORCD+Res-treated group: bilateral ORCD surgery followed by Res treatment. Res treatment began 4 weeks after ORCD and continued for 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, bone mineral density(BMD) and bone mineral content(BMC) were measured in the tibia and femur of each rat’s right hind leg. Blood levels of bone turnover indicators such as deoxypyridinoline(Dpd), N-telopeptide of type Ⅰ collagen(NTXⅠ), alkaline phosphatase(ALP), and osteocalcin(OC), as well as receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa B(RANK) and osteoprotegerin(OPG) were assessed. Results: ORCD significantly decreased BMD(P<0.01) and significantly increased bone resorption, manifested by increased RANK. In addition, it inhibited serum levels of OPG and OC. Res treatment after ORCD effectively increased serum levels of bone formation markers such as OPG and OC, compared with testisectomized rats(P<0.05). Conclusion:Res could ameliorate bone loss induced by male hypogonadism, possible via restoration of the normal balance between RANK and OPG.

The amount of data that is traveling across the internet today, including very large and complex set of raw facts that are not only large, but also, complex, noisy, heterogeneous, and longitudinal data as well. Companies, institutions, healthcare system, mobile application capturing devices and sensors, traffic management, banking, retail, education etc., use piles of data which are further used for creating reports in order to ensure continuity regarding the services that they have to offer. Recently, Big data is one of the most important topics in IT industry. Managing Big data needs new techniques because traditional security and privacy mechanisms are inadequate and unable to manage complex distributed computing for different types of data. New types of data have different and new challenges also. A lot of researches treat with big data challenges starting from Doug Laney’s landmark paper, during the previous two decades;the big challenge is how to operate a huge volume of data that has to be securely delivered through the internet and reach its destination intact. The present paper highlights important concepts of Fifty-six Big Data V’s characteristics. This paper also highlights the security and privacy Challenges that Big Data faces and solving this problem by proposed technological solutions that help us avoiding these challenging problems.

Data Migration is a multi-step process that begins with analyzing old data and culminates in data uploading and reconciliation in new applications. With the rapid growth of data, organizations constantly need to migrate data. Data migration can be a complex process as testing must be done to ensure data quality. Migration also can be very costly if best practices are not followed and hidden costs are not identified in the early stage. On the other hand, many organizations today instead of buying IT equipment (hardware and/or software) and managing it themselves, they prefer to buy services from IT service providers. The number of service providers is increasing dramatically and the cloud is becoming the preferred tool for more cloud storage services. However, as more information and personal data are transferred to the cloud, to social media sites, DropBox, Baidu WangPan, etc., data security and privacy issues are questioned. So, academia and industry circles strive to find an effective way to secure data migration in the cloud. Various resolving methods and encryption techniques have been implemented. Naringenin suppresses NLRP3 inflammasome activation via the mRNA-208a signaling pathway in isoproterenol-induced myocardial infarction

Objective:To investigate the cardioprotective effect of naringenin against isoproterenol(ISO)-induced cardiotoxicity in ***:Rats were divided into five groups:the normal group,the ISO group(85 mg/kg b.w.);the ISO+naringenin(50 mg/kg b.w.)group,the ISO+naringenin(100 mg/kg b.w.)group and the ISO+propranolol(10 mg/kg b.w.)*** creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB),cardiac troponin T,lactate dehydrogenase,brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),and IL-10,as well as cardiac transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and malondialdehyde(MDA)were *** addition,NLRP3 and mRNA-208a expressions were evaluated by RT-PCR *** examination was also performed to assess cardiac ***:Naringenin treatment significantly decreased plasma lactate dehydrogenase,CK-MB,cardiac troponin T,BNP,and IL-10,as well as cardiac TGF-β1,VEGF,and MDA while increasing p-Akt and superoxide dismutase in ISO-administered *** also reduced NLRP3 and mRNA-208a gene expression ***,naringenin improved ISO-induced cardiac ***:Naringenin attenuates myocardial dysfunction in ISO-treated rats by decreasing oxidative stress and increasing cardiac endogenous antioxidant system,which may be modulated partly by improvement of NLRP3 and mRNA-208a gene expression.

The estimation of the fuzzy membership function parameters for interval type 2 fuzzy logic system(IT2-FLS)is a challenging task in the presence of uncertainty and *** optimization algorithm(GOA)is a fresh population based meta-heuristic algorithm that mimics the swarming behavior of grasshoppers in nature,which has good convergence ability towards *** main objective of this paper is to apply GOA to estimate the optimal parameters of the Gaussian membership function in an *** antecedent part parameters(Gaussian membership function parameters)are encoded as a population of artificial swarm of grasshoppers and optimized using its *** of the consequent part parameters are accomplished using extreme learning *** optimized IT2-FLS(GOAIT2FELM)obtained the optimal premise parameters based on tuned consequent part parameters and is then applied on the Australian national electricity market data for the forecasting of electricity loads and *** forecasting performance of the proposed model is compared with other population-based optimized IT2-FLS including genetic algorithm and artificial bee colony optimization *** of the performance,on the same data-sets,reveals that the proposed GOAIT2FELM could be a better approach for improving the accuracy of the IT2-FLS as compared to other variants of the optimized IT2-FLS.

Requirements engineering(RE)is among the most valuable and critical processes in software *** quality of this process significantly affects the success of a software *** important step in RE is requirements elicitation,which involves collecting project-related requirements from different *** of reusable requirements are typically important sources of an increasing number of reusable software ***,the process of searching such repositories to collect valuable project-related requirements is time-consuming and difficult to perform *** systems have been widely recognized as an effective solution to such ***,this study proposes an effective hybrid content-based collaborative filtering recommendation *** proposed approach will support project stake-holders in mitigating the risk of missing requirements during requirements elicitation by identifying related requirements from software requirement *** experimental results on the RALIC dataset demonstrate that the proposed approach considerably outperforms baseline collaborative filtering-based recom-mendation methods in terms of prediction accuracy and coverage in addition to mitigating the data sparsity and cold-start item problems.

Efficacy and safety of latanoprost/timolol fixed combination dosed twice daily compared to once daily in patients with primary open angle glaucoma

AIM:To evaluate whether latanoprost/timolol fixed combination(LTFC)dosed twice daily may provide further intraocular pressure(IOP)reduction and evaluate the safety profile at this ***:This is an open-labeled,randomized,prospective crossover study on fourty primary open angle glaucoma *** weeks of washout period were followed by randomization to either once daily(OD,group A)or twice daily dosing(BD,group B)of LTFC for *** another 2-week washout period,the patients’treatment dose was crossed-over for another *** reduction alongside ocular and systemic side effects were ***:Mean baseline IOP was 18.57±2.93 and 17.8±3.01 mm Hg before OD and BD dose respectively,(P=0.27).Mean IOP after BD dose was statistically lower(12.49±1.59 mm Hg)compared to OD(13.48±1.81 mm Hg,P=0.017).Although IOP reduction after BD dose was more(5.32±3.24 mm Hg,29.89%)than after OD dosing(5.04 mm Hg,27.14%),it did not reach statistical significance(P=0.68).Patients switched from OD to BD(group A)showed mean IOP reduction by 0.69 mm Hg[95%confidence interval(CI):-0.09 to 1.48 mm Hg,P=0.078];but patients switched from BD to OD(group B)had significantly higher mean IOP by 1.25 mm Hg(95%CI:-2.04 to-0.46 mm Hg,P=0.006).BD dose had more ocular side effects albeit ***:Mean IOP after LTFC dosed twice daily is statistically lower,with additional mild side effects.

Development of the Supply Chain Oriented Quality Assurance System for Aerospace Manufacturing SMEs and Its Implementation Perspectives

Aerospace manufacturing SMEs are continuously facing the challenge on managing their supply chain and complying with the aerospace manufacturing quality standard requirement due to their lack of resources and the nature of business. In this paper, the ERP system based approach is presented to quality control and assurance work in light of seamless integration of in-process production data and information internally and therefore managing suppliers more effectively and efficiently. The Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Assurance Standard （BS/EN9100） is one of the most recognised and essential protocols for developing the industry-operated-and-driven quality assurance systems. The research investigates using the ERP based system as an enabler to implement BS/EN9100 quality management system at manufacturing SMEs and the associated implementation and application perspectives. An application case study on a manufacturing SME is presented by using the SAP based implementation, which helps fiarther evaluate and validate the approach and application system development.

研究在医用Ti6Al4V合金上采用阴极电弧蒸发沉积制备的纳米晶TiAlN涂层的表面特性和体外腐蚀性能。采用XRD和FE-SEM对其结构和表面形貌进行分析,采用显微压痕法表征其表面的显微硬度,在模拟体液和人工唾液中进行体外腐蚀实验。结果表明:与无涂层合金相比,沉积TiAlN涂层后合金的表面硬度提高,为44.4 GPa,弹性模量为419.9 GPa,塑性变形能力增强,润湿角由(70.61±1.25)°增大到(86.27±2.2)°。生物腐蚀实验表明,沉积TiAlN涂层后,Ti6Al4V合金的腐蚀电位显著正移约150 m V,腐蚀电流密度显著降低约一个数量级,电荷转移电阻提高,证明合金的耐腐蚀性提高。与无涂层的合金相比,沉积TiAlN涂层后合金的表面性能、力学性能和耐腐蚀性能均有所提高。
