Simultaneous overabundance and scarcity of inorganic phosphate(Pi)is a critical issue driving the development of innovative water/wastewater treatment technologies that not only facilitate Pi removal to prevent eutrophication,but also recover Pi for agricultural ***,a cell-surface expressed high-affinity phosphate binding protein(PstS)system was developed,and its Pi capture and release potential was *** was genetically modified to express PstS on its outer membrane using the ice nucleation protein(INP)as an anchoring *** of protein expression and localization were performed utilizing SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(SDS-PAGE),western blot,and outer membrane separation *** surface characterization was investigated through acid-base titration,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR).These tests provided information on the macromolecular structure and composition of the bacteria surface as well as the proton-exchange properties of the surface functional groups(i.e.,pKa values).Phosphate desorption and adsorption batch experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of temperature,pH,and ionic strength on phosphate capture and *** PstS surface-displayed cells demonstrated greater potential to release and capture phosphate compared to non-modified *** temperatures up to 40℃,basic pH conditions(pH=10.5),and higher ionic strength up to 1.0 mol/L KCl promoted 20%-50%higher phosphate release.

Based on current voltage（I-Vg） and capacitance voltage（C-Vg） measurements,a reliable procedure is proposed to determine the effective surface potential Vd（Vg） in Schottky *** the framework of thermionic emission,our analysis includes both the effect of the series resistance and the ideality factor,even voltage dependent. This technique is applied to n-type indium phosphide（n-InP） Schottky diodes with and without an interfacial layer and allows us to provide an interpretation of the observed peak on the C-Vg *** study clearly shows that the depletion width and the flat band barrier height deduced from C-Vg,which are important parameters directly related to the surface potential in the semiconductor,should be estimated within our approach to obtain more reliable information.

Several pests feed on leaves,stems,bases,and the entire plant,causing plant *** a result,it is vital to identify and eliminate the disease before causing any damage to *** detecting plant disease and treating it is pretty challenging in this *** processing is employed to detect plant disease since it requires much effort and an extended processing *** main goal of this study is to discover the disease that affects the plants by creating an image processing system that can recognize and classify four different forms of plant diseases,including Phytophthora infestans,Fusarium graminearum,Puccinia graminis,tomato yellow leaf ***,this work uses the Support vector machine(SVM)classifier to detect and classify the plant disease using various steps like image acquisition,Pre-processing,Segmentation,feature extraction,and *** gray level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM)and the local binary pattern features(LBP)are used to identify the disease-affected portion of the plant *** to experimental data,the proposed technology can correctly detect and diagnose plant sickness with a 97.2 percent accuracy.

Cancerous diseases and diseases resulting from bacteria and fungi are some of the pressures that humans ***,the development of biomaterials that are resistant to cancerous diseases,bacteria,and fungi has become one of the requirements of the medical field to extend the life of the biomaterial and fight pathogens after implanting these materials inside the human *** of the important biomaterials used in the field of orthopedics is *** this research,Nano substituted hydroxyapatite was prepared by the wet precipitation method,including replacing 5%of the calcium ions with neodymium,cerium,magnesium,and zinc ions in cationic *** tests were carried out to characterize the prepared *** biological properties were evaluated by examining the resistance of the substituted hydroxyapatite to bacteria and fungi,in addition to testing the effect of the material on normal cells and bone cancer *** results showed a new structure of hydroxyapatite after the substitution process and a significant improvement in the biological properties of the prepared biomaterial compared to other researches.

Information about the forty nine nitraminic plastic bonded explosives(PBXs)and different nitramines were *** of these PBXs are nitramines 1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazinane(RDX)and β-1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5-tetrazocane(β-HMX),cis-1,3,4,6-tetranitro-octahydroimidazo-[4,5-d]imidazole(bicyclo-HMX,BCHMX)and e-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane(e-HNIW,CL-20)which are bonded by polyfluoro-elastomers,polydimethyl-siloxane,poly-glycidyl azide,polyisobutylene,polystyrene-butadiene,poly-acrylonitrile-butadiene and hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene in addition to a melt cast compositions based on 2,4,*** thirty two of these PBXs the relationships are specified and analyzed between heats of their combustion and relative explosive strengths;by means of these relationships it might be possible to estimate,which groupings in the macromolecule of binder could be liable to their primary fission in the PBXs ***,for forty two of these explosives,the relationships are described and analyzed between their enthalpies of formation and impact sensitivities;here is especially attention paid to PBXs filled by *** rate constants from Vacuum Stability Test(VST)of four nitramines and twenty PBXs are introduced into relationships with their enthalpies of *** to all the mentioned cases,increasing of energy content of the studied explosives leads to increase of the relative explosive strength or initiation reactivity,*** with the opposite trend,the outputs of VST are for BCHMX,where in PBXs are matrices with the esteric plasticizers or the energetic poly-glycidyl *** of RDX or HMX,respectively,into the BCHX PBXs gives ternary PBXs whose thermal stability,in the sense of applied VST,is higher comparing to the original binary explosives.

In this paper, we present a linear matrix inequality （LMI）-based solution to implement H-two and H- infinity decentralized robust control strategies. Appropriate parametrization of optimal H-two and H-infinity controllers is used. The general formulation of the decentralized control design leads to the optimal determination of both the state feedback gains and the observer gains of the decentralized controllers. This formulation is two folds： first, a centralized controller is obtained, and then, a simplified decentralized solution is derived by optimizing only the observer gains. The mathematical determination of these gains is formulated as an LMI optimization problem that can be easily solved using LMI solvers. As an experimental evaluation of these controllers, a real time application to an aerothermic process is carried out. A continuous-time model of the process obtained with a suitable direct continuous-time identification approach is elaborated. Maximum germination distance（MGD） is an important component of Striga resistance in sorghum. The objective of this study was to determine gene action influencing MGD of Striga hermonthica and Striga asiatica among selected sorghum lines treated with a biocontrol agent, Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. strigae（FOS） for effective breeding with Striga resistance, and FOS compatibility. Twelve sorghum genotypes were selected based on their Striga resistance, FOS compatibility, and superior agronomic performance. Selected genotypes were crossed using a bi-parental mating design to generate six families for genetic analysis. Agar-gel assays were used to determine low haustorium initiation factor（LHF） using the 12 parental lines, their F_1 progenies, backcross derivatives, and F_2 segregants in two sets. One set had S. hermonthica seed and the other one had S. asiatica seed. Both were treated with and without FOS. Genotypes were evaluated using a split-plot design with three replications and MGD data were recorded followed by generation mean analysis. FOS reduced MGD by 1cm under both S. hermonthica and S. asiatica infestations. Additive, dominance, and epistatic gene actions were involved in the control of MGD of the two Striga species in the evaluated populations. On average, the relative contribution of additive, additive×additive and dominance×dominance genetic effects on the MGD of S. hermonthica and S. asiatica, with FOS, were 20, 33, and 36%; and 21, 32, and 35%, respectively. Breeding methods exploiting these genetic effects may provide enhanced response to selection for Striga resistance and FOS compatibility in integrated Striga management（ISM） programmes.

As the Internet of Things(IoT)and mobile devices have rapidly proliferated,their computationally intensive applications have developed into complex,concurrent IoT-based workflows involving multiple interdependent *** exploiting its low latency and high bandwidth,mobile edge computing(MEC)has emerged to achieve the high-performance computation offloading of these applications to satisfy the quality-of-service requirements of workflows and *** this study,we propose an offloading strategy for IoT-based workflows in a high-performance MEC *** proposed task-based offloading strategy consists of an optimization problem that includes task dependency,communication costs,workflow constraints,device energy consumption,and the heterogeneous characteristics of the edge *** addition,the optimal placement of workflow tasks is optimized using a discrete teaching learning-based optimization(DTLBO)*** experimental evaluations demonstrate that the proposed offloading strategy is effective at minimizing the energy consumption of mobile devices and reducing the execution times of workflows compared to offloading strategies using different metaheuristics,including particle swarm optimization and ant colony optimization.

In this paper, we propose a framework that uses localization for multi-objective optimization to simultaneously guide an evolutionary algorithm in both the decision and objective spaces. The localization is built using a limited number of adaptive spheres （local models） in the decision space. These spheres axe usually guided, using some direction information, in the decision space towards the areas with non-dominated solutions. We use a second mechanism to adjust the spheres to specialize on different parts of the Paxeto front by using a guided dominance technique in the objective space. Through this interleaved guidance in both spaces, the spheres will be guided towards different parts of the Paxeto front while also exploring the decision space efficiently. The experimental results showed good performance for the local models using this dual guidance, in comparison with their original version.
