SnO2@Co3O4 hollow nano-spheres have been prepared using the template-based sol-gel coating technique and their electrochemical performance as an anode for lithium-ion battery (LIB) was investigated. The size of synthesized hollow spheres was about 50 nm with the shell thickness of 7–8 nm. The fabricated SnO2@Co3O4 hollow nano-sphere electrode exhibited an extraordinary reversible capacity (962 mAh·g−1 after 100 cycles at 100 mA·g−1), good cyclability, and high rate capability, which was attributed to the Co-enhanced reversibility of the Li2O reduction reaction during cycling.

Effects of Cr interlayer on mechanical and tribological properties of Cr-Al-Si-N nanocomposite coating

Cr-Al-Si-N coatings were deposited on SUS 304 substrate by a hybrid coating system. A Cr interlayer was introduced between Cr-Al-Si-N coating and SUS 304 substrate to improve the coating adherence. The effects of Cr interlayer on the microhardness, adhesion, and tribological behavior of Cr-Al-Si-N coatings were systematically investigated. The results indicate that the microhardness of the Cr-Al-Si-N coatings gradually deceases with increasing thickness of Cr interlayers. The adhesion between Cr-Al-Si-N and SUS 304 substrate is improved by addition of the Cr interlayers. A peak critical load of ~50 N is observed for the coating containing Cr interlayer of 60 nm as compared ~ 20 N for the coating without Cr interlayer. The thicker Cr interlayers result in reduced critical load values. Moreover, the wear resistance of the Cr-Al-Si-N coatings is greatly enhanced by introducing the Cr interlayer with thickness of 60 nm in spite of the decreased microhardness. The friction coefficient of the coating system is also moderately reduced.

阿散酸常被用作饲料添加剂进入动物机体,大部分未被动物机体代谢,会随排泄物进入环境,造成砷污染。本文以榛子壳为原料,用四种活化剂制备了活性炭,经过筛选以ZnCl2为活化剂,600℃下热解制得的多孔活性炭AC(Zn-600)吸附能力最强。当pH=6.0,阿散酸初始浓度为500 mg·L^(-1),接触30min,AC(Zn-600)对阿散酸的饱和吸附量可达131.3 mg·g^(-1),温度升高有利于吸附的发生。AC(Zn-600)中含有较多含氧官能团,存在大量微孔,主要以孔隙吸附、静电、氢键和π-π与阿散酸作用,阿散酸在AC(Zn-600)上的吸附以化学吸附为主,Langmuir等温吸附模型和准一级动力学模型更适合描述吸附过程。

A new method for automatic salient object segmentation is *** object segmentation is an important research area in the field of object recognition,image retrieval,image editing,scene reconstruction,and 2D/3D *** this work,salient object segmentation is performed using saliency map and color ***,color and intensity feature are extracted from mean shift segmentation(MSS)image,and saliency map is created using these *** average saliency per segment image is calculated using the color information from MSS image and generated saliency ***,second average saliency per segment image is calculated by applying same procedure for the first image to the thresholding,labeling,and hole-filling applied ***,labeling and hole-filling are applied to the mean image of the generated two images to get the final salient object *** effectiveness of proposed method is proved by showing 80%,89%and 80%of precision,recall and F-measure values from the generated salient object segmentation image and ground truth image.

Multiple primary malignancy is defined as two or more malignancies detected in an individual person. In particular, synchronous quintuple primary malignancy is extremely rare. A 52-year-old male with anal pain and intermittent blood-tinged stool was diagnosed with malignancies in the stomach, jejunum, ascending colon, transverse colon and rectum. He underwent a subtotal gastrectomy, segmental resection of the jejunum and total protocolectomy with end ileostomy. The postoperative pathologic findings were moderate differentiated gastric adenocarcinoma(pT1b N0M0, p StageⅠA), combined adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine carcinoma of the jejunum(pT3N0M0, p StageⅡA), three mucinous adenocarcinoma of the ascending colon(pT3N0M0, pStageⅡA), transverse colon(pT1N0M0, p StageⅠ) and rectum(pT3N1 a M0, p StageⅢB). The tumors did not lack MLH-1 and MSH-2 expression, as the markers(bat26, D5S346, bat25, D2S123) suggest MSI-H presence. Adjuvant chemoradiotherapy was started according to regimen, FOLFOX 4 for advanced rectal cancer. Six years post-operation, the patient is currently attending regular follow-ups without recurrence or metastasis.

Nucleic acid amplification and quantification via polymerase chain reaction(PCR)is one of the most sensitive and powerful tools for clinical laboratories,precision medicine,personalized medicine,agricultural science,forensic science and environmental *** multiplex PCR,characterized by low power consumption,compact size and simple operation,is ideal for timely diagnosis at the point-of-care(POC).Although several fast/ultrafast PCR methods have been proposed,the use of a simple and robust PCR thermal cycler remains challenging for POC ***,we present an ultrafast photonic PCR method using plasmonic photothermal light-to-heat conversion via photon–electron–phonon *** demonstrate an efficient photonic heat converter using a thin gold(Au)film due to its plasmon-assisted high optical absorption(approximately 65%at 450 nm,the peak wavelength of heat source light-emitting diodes(LEDs)).The plasmon-excited Au film is capable of rapidly heating the surrounding solution to over 150℃ within 3 *** this method,ultrafast thermal cycling(30 cycles;heating and cooling rate of 12.7960.93℃ s^(-1) and 6.660.29℃ s^(-1),respectively)from 55℃(temperature of annealing)to 95℃(temperature of denaturation)is accomplished within 5 *** photonic PCR thermal cycles,we demonstrate here successful nucleic acid(λ-DNA)*** simple,robust and low cost approach to ultrafast PCR using an efficient photonic-based heating procedure could be generally integrated into a variety of devices or procedures,including on-chip thermal lysis and heating for isothermal amplifications.

This study comprises a systematic review and meta-analysis of micmsurgical vasoepididymostomy outcomes in epididymal obstructive azoospermia.A comprehensive literature search was performed using Medline,Embase,and the Cochrane library that included all studies related to microsurgical *** included “vasoepididymostomy,”“epididymovasostomy,”“epididymal obstruction,”and “epididymis obstruction.”Event rate and risk ratio (RR)were *** rate and pregnancy rate were *** analysis comprised 1422 articles,including 42 observational studies with 2298 enrolled patients performed from November 1978 to January *** overall mean patency rate was 64.1%(95%confidence interval [CI]:58.5%-69.3%;F=83.0%),and the overall mean pregnancy rate was 31.1%(95%CI:26.9%-35.7%;I^2=73.0%).We performed a meta-analysis comparing the patency rate of bilateral microsurgical vasoepididymostomy and unilateral microsurgical vasoepididymostomy and found an RR of 1.38%(95%CI: 1.21%-1.57%;P <0.00001).A comparison of the site of microsurgical vasoepididymostomy showed that caudal or corpus area was favorable for patency rate (RR =1.17%;95%CI: 1.01%-1.35%;P =0.04).Patients with motile sperm in epididymal fluid exhibited an RR of 1.53%(95%CI:1.11%-2.13%;P =0.01)with respect to patency rate. Microsurgical vasoepididymostomy is an effective treatment for epididymal obstructive azoospermia that can improve male fertility. We find that performing microsurgical vasoepididymostomy bilaterally,anastomosing a larger caudal area,and containing motile sperm in epididymis fluid can potentially achieve a superior patency rate.
