Mg 3 Sb 2-based thermoelectric materials have been the focus of widespread investigations as promising candidates for the harvesting of waste heat.Interface stability and service performance are key points for the commercial applications of these materials.We utilized Mg_(4.3)Sb_(3)Ni as a barrier layer to improve the thermal stability of Mg 3 Sb 2-based devices.However,its intrinsic high resistivity contributed nega-tively to the desired performance of the device.In this work,we investigated two other Mg-Sb-Ni ternary phases,MgSbNi and MgSbNi_(2),as new barrier layer materials to connect with Mg_(3.2)Sb_(2)Y_(0.05).The results show that the efficiency of the Mg_(1.2)SbNi/Mg_(3.2)Sb_(2)Y_(0.05)/Mg_(1.2)SbNi joint is increased by 33%relative to the higher Mg-content barriers due to lower resistivity.The system exhibited good interfacial compatibility and showed little change with aging at 673 K for 20 days.

To evaluate the effects of long-term applications of phosphorus fertilizers on mobility of dissolved organic matter （DOM） and heavy metals in agricultural soils, a sandy soil and a loamy soil were spiked with ammonium phosphate at application rates of 0, 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500 mg P per kilogram of soil. A series of 15-cm long soil columns were constructed by packing incubated soils of varying concentrations of P. The soil columns were consecutively leached by simulated rainfalls for six cycles. The contents of water extractable organic carbon in both sandy and loamy soils increased significantly with increasing rates of P applications. Relatively high rates of P applications could induce a marked increase in DOM concentrations in the leachates, the effects were larger with the sandy soil rather than with the loamy soil. Applications of P changed the partitioning of trace metals in the soil solids and the soil solutions. The increased P application rates also seemed to elevate the leaching of Cu, Cd, and Zn from soils. The concentrations of Cu, Cd, and Zn in the leachates were positively correlated with DOM, probably due to the formation of metal-DOM complexes. In contrast, Pb concentrations in the leachates were negatively correlated with DOM, and decreased with increasing rates of P applications. The boosted leaching of DOM induced by high rates of P applications was probably due to the added phosphate ions competing for adsorption sites in the soil solids with the indigenous DOM.

Natural killer T cells are innate-like and tissue-resident lymphocytes, which recognize lipid antigens and are enriched in the liver. Natural killer T cells play important roles in infections, tumors, autoimmune diseases, and metabolic diseases. In this study, we summarize recent findings on biology of natural killer T cells and their roles in hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus infection, autoimmune liver diseases, alcoholic liver disease, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, and hepatocellular carcinoma. Controversial results from previous studies are discussed, and indicate the dynamic alteration in the role of natural killer T cells during the progression of liver diseases, which might be caused by changes in natural killer T subsets, factors skewing cytokine responses, and intercellular crosstalk between natural killer T cells and CDld-expressing cells or bystander cells.

A generalized solution scheme using implicit time integrators for piecewise linear and nonlinear systems is developed.The piecewise linear characteristic has been well‐discussed in previous studies,in which the original problem has been transformed into linear complementarity problems(LCPs)and then solved via the Lemke algorithm for each time step.The proposed scheme,instead,uses the projection function to describe the discontinuity in the dynamics equations,and solves for each step the nonlinear equations obtained from the implicit integrator by the semismooth Newton iteration.Compared with the LCP‐based scheme,the new scheme offers a more general choice by allowing other nonlinearities in the governing equations.To assess its performances,several illustrative examples are solved.The numerical solutions demonstrate that the new scheme can not only predict satisfactory results for piecewise nonlinear systems,but also exhibits substantial efficiency advantages over the LCP‐based scheme when applied to piecewise linear systems.

Blockchain technology plays a very positive role in promoting the development of the port supply chain.Although there are some practical examples of blockchain in the port supply chain(eg.Trade Len or Cargo Smart),there are few application scenarios.Therefore,blockchain technology has yet to be widely used in the port industry.This may be related to the construction of blockchain.This paper analyzes the impact of blockchain technology on the port supply chain and the technology sharing on the shipping market.It is found that the investment of blockchain technology in a competitive environment has different characteristics.When the efficiency of technology investment and the proportion of market expansion reach a certain combination,there are two different equilibrium strategy choices:Only technology investment or technology sharing.Based on the above research results,this paper further investigates the results of the comprehensive influence of different factors such as competition intensity and market expansion proportion.

The traditional human resource management system is faced with such problems as the quality of staff recruitment can not be guaranteed,the training performance is not consistent with the actual performance,the enterprise performance appraisal is unfair,and the salary distribution is unfair,which seriously affects the enthusiasm and loyalty of employees and threatens the survival and development of enterprises.In view of the current situation and problems of human resource management system,combined with the technical characteristics of blockchain,this paper proposes a human resource management mechanism based on blockchain technology,in order to achieve the company’s human resource management system accurate,efficient,open and transparent.It is found that there is a good coupling between blockchain technology and human resource management system.This paper constructs a human resource management mechanism based on blockchain,innovates the application scenarios of blockchain technology,and provides certain guiding significance for the establishment of human resource management system and process improvement in the future.

The rapid development of communications industry has spawned more new services and applications.The sixth-generation wireless communication system(6G)network is faced with more stringent and diverse requirements.While ensuring performance requirements,such as high data rate and low latency,the problem of high energy consumption in the fifth-generation wireless communication system(5G)network has also become one of the problems to be solved in 6G.The wide-area coverage signaling cell technology conforms to the future development trend of radio access networks,and has the advantages of reducing network energy consumption and improving resource utilization.In wide-area coverage signaling cells,on-demand multi-dimensional resource allocation is an important technical means to ensure the ultimate performance requirements of users,and its effect will affect the efficiency of network resource utilization.This paper constructs a user-centric dynamic allocation model of wireless resources,and proposes a deep Q-network based dynamic resource allocation algorithm.The algorithm can realize dynamic and flexible admission control and multi-dimensional resource allocation in wide-area coverage signaling cells according to the data rate and latency demands of users.According to the simulation results,the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the average user experience on a long time scale,and ensure network users a high data rate and low energy consumption.

Background: Differential diagnosis of active tuberculosis (ATB) and latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) has been a challenge for clinicians in high TB burden countries. The purpose of this study was to improve the accuracy of differential diagnosis of ATB and LTBI by using fluorescent immunospot (FluoroSpot) assay to detect specific Th1 cell immune responses. The novelmycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) latency-associated antigens Rv1733c and synthetic long peptides derived from Rv1733c (Rv1733c SLP) were used based on virulence factors early secreting antigen target-6 (ESAT-6) and culture filtrate protein-10 (CFP-10).Methods: Fifty-seven ATB cases, including 20 pathogen-confirmed ATB and 37 clinically diagnosed ATB, and 36 LTBI cases, were enrolled between January and December 2017. FluoroSpot assay was used to detect the interferon γ (IFN-γ) and interleukin 2 (IL-2) secreted by the specific T cells after being stimulated with MTB virulence factors ESAT-6 and CFP-10, MTB latency-associated antigens Rv1733c and Rv1733c SLP. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to define the best cutoff value of latency-associated antigens in the use of differentiating ATB and LTBI. The sensitivity, specificity, predictive value, and likelihood ratio of ESAT-6 and CFP-10-FluoroSpot combined with latency-associated antigen in the differential diagnosis of ATB and LTBI were also calculated.Results: Following the stimulation with Rv1733c and Rv1733c SLP, the frequency of single IL-2-secreting T cells stimulated by Rv1733c SLP had the largest area under the ROC curve, which was 0.766. With a cutoff value of 1 (spot-forming cells [SFCs]/2.5 × 105 peripheral blood mononuclear cells) for frequency, the sensitivity and specificity of distinguishing ATB from LTBI were 72.2% and 73.7%, respectively. ESAT-6 and CFP-10-FluoroSpot detected the frequency and proportion of single IFN-γ-secreting T cells;the sensitivity and specificity of distinguishing ATB from LTBI were 82.5% and 66.7%, respectively. Ammonia synthesis by electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is considered as a promising alternative to the Haber−Bosch process.However,due to the extremely low ammonia yield and easily accessible extraneous contamination in the laboratory,NRR study always suffers from fluctuation and variability.Finding and eliminating all kinds of possible extraneous contamination is crucial to evaluate the performance of electrocatalytic ammonia synthesis accurately.In this work,we systematically explored two factors that affect NRR results but are easy to be ignored:the selection of membrane for NRR and the unconscious N-source in NRR catalysts.After series of experiments,we proposed a low-cost and almost pollution-free Celgard 3501 membrane as the separator for NRR to avoid the adsorption and release of ammonia by the membrane.In addition,we proposed a pre-reduction strategy to remove residual or adsorbed NOx contaminants in catalysts.These two solutions will help the community to evaluate the NRR activity more accurately.
