This article presents a new well test model for stress-sensitive composite dual-porosity reservoirs based on the concept of permeability modulus, where the rock and fluid properties as well as the formation thickness vary in the radial direction. An analytical solution in the Laplace space for the pressure-transient behavior for a line-source, constant-rate well of this type of reservoir is obtained with the Laplace transformation and the perturbation technique. The pressure and its derivative in the reservoir and the effects of relevant parameters on the pressure-transient response are obtained. The model as well as the corresponding type curves may be used in predicting the production performance or analyzing the production data for this type of reservoir.

Atorvastatin is proven to ameliorate cardiac hypertrophy induced by chronic intermittent hypoxia （CIH）. However, little is known about the mechanism by which atorvastatin modulates CIH-induced cardiac hypertrophy, and whether specific hypertrophyrelated microRNAs are involved in the modulation. MiR-31 plays key roles in the development of cardiac hypertrophy induced by ischemia/hypoxia. This study examined whether miR-31 was involved in the protective role of atorvastatin against CIH-induced myocardial hypertrophy. H9c2 cells were subjected to 8-h intermittent hypoxia per day in the presence or absence of atorvastatin for 5 days. The size of cardiomyocytes, and the expression of caspase 3 and miR-31 were determined by Western blotting and RT-PCR, respectively. MiR-31 mimic or Ro 31-8220, a specific inhibitor of protein kinase C epsilon （PKCε）, was used to determine the role of miR-31 in the anti-hypertrophic effect of atorvastatin on cardiomyocytes. PKCε in the cardiomyocytes with miR-31 upregulation or downregulation was detected using RT-PCR and Western blotting. The results showed that CIH induced obvious enlargement of cardiomyocytes, which was paralleled with increased atrial natriuretic peptide （ANP）, brain natriuretic peptide （BNP）, and slow/beta cardiac myosin heavy-chain （MYHT） mRNA levels. All these changes were reversed by the treatment with atorvastatin. Meanwhile, miR-31 was increased by CIH in vitro. Of note, the atorvastatin pretreatment significantly increased the mRNA and protein expression of PKCε and decreased that of miR-31. Moreover, overexpression of miR-31 abolished the anti-hypertrophic effect of atorvastatin on cardiomyocytes. Upregulation and downregulation of miR-31 respectively decreased and increased the mRNA and protein expression of PKCε. These results suggest that atorvastatin provides the cardioprotective effects against CIH probably via up-regulating PKCε and down-regulating miR-31.

Application of the Guiding Template Designed by Three-dimensional Printing Data for the Insertion of Sacroiliac Screws:a New Clinical Technique

This study is aimed to explore the clinical application of the guiding template designed by three-dimensional printing data for the insertion of sacroiliac screws.A retrospective study of 7 cases (from July 2016 to December 2016),in which the guiding template printed by the three-dimensional printing technique was used for the insertion of sacroiliac screws of patients with posterior ring injuries of pelvis,was ***,4 males and 3 females were included in template group,aged from 38to 65years old (mean 50.86±8.90).Of them,5 had sacral fractures (3 with Denis type Ⅰ and 2 with type Ⅱ)and 2 the separation of sacroiliac *** templates were firstly made by the three-dimensional printing technique based on the pre-operative CT data. Surgical operations for the stabilization of pelvic ring by applying the guiding templates were carried out.A group of 8 patients with sacroiliac injuries treated by percutaneous sacroiliac screws were analyzed as a control group *** time of each screw insertion,volume of intra-operative blood loss,and the exposure to X ray were analyzed and the Matta's radiological criteria were used to evaluate the reduction *** Majeed score was used to evaluate postoperative living *** visual analogue scale (VAS)was applied at different time points to judge pain relief of *** the 7 patients in the template group were closely followed up radiographically and clinically for 14 to 20 months,mean (16.57±2.44)*** 9 sacroiliac screws for the S 1 and S2 vertebra were inserted in the 7 *** time length for each screw insertion ranged from 450 to 870 s,mean (690.56±135.68)s,and the number of times of exposure to X ray were 4 to 8,mean (5.78±1.20).The intra-operative blood loss ranged from 45to 120 mL,mean (75±23.32)*** to Matta's radiology criteria,the fracture and dislocation reduction were excellent in 6cases and good in *** pre-operative VAS score ranged from 5.2 to 8.1

Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the biological effects of occupational extremely low-frequency electromagnetic field(ELF-EMF)exposure on the thyroid ***:We conducted a prospective analysis of 85 workers(exposure group)exposed to an ELF-EMF(100μT,10-100 Hz)produced by the electromagnetic aircraft launch system and followed up on thyroid function indices,immunological indices,and color Doppler images for 3 ***,116 healthy volunteers were randomly selected as controls(control group),the thyroid function of whom was compared to the exposure ***:No significant difference was observed in thyroid function between the exposure and control *** the follow-up of the exposure group,the serum free triiodothyronine(FT3)level was found to slowly decrease and free thyroxine(FT4)level slowly increase with increasing exposure ***,no significant difference was found in thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH)over the three years,and no significant difference was observed in the FT3,FT4 and TSH levels between different exposure ***,no significant changes were observed in thyroid autoantibody levels and ultrasound images between subgroups or over ***:Long-term exposure to ELF-EMF may promote thyroid secretion of T4 and inhibit deiodination of T4 to ***-EMF has no significant effect on thyroid immune function and morphology.

This article proposes a model combination method to enhance the discriminability of the generative model. Generative and discriminative models have different optimization objectives and have their own advantages and drawbacks. The method proposed in this article intends to strike a balance between the two models mentioned above. It extracts the discriminative parameter from the generative model and generates a new model based on a multi-model combination. The weight for combining is determined by the ratio of the inter-variance to the intra-variance of the classes. The higher the ratio is, the greater the weight is, and the more discriminative the model will be. Experiments on speech recognition demonstrate that the performance of the new model outperforms the model trained with the traditional generative method.

Background Increased production of reactive oxygen species （ROS） is thought to play a major role in the pathogenesis of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome （OSAHS）. The reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate （NADPH） oxidase complex is an important source of ROS. The p22phox subunit is polymorphic with a C242T variant that changes histidine-72 for a tyrosine in the potential heme binding site. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between NADPH oxidase subunit p22phox gene polymorphism and OSAHS. Methods The genotypes of p22phox polymorphism were determined by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphisms （PCR-RFLP） assay in 176 unrelated subjects of the Han population in southern region of China （including 107 OSAHS subjects and 69 non-OSAHS subjects）, while the plasma concentration of superoxide dismutase （SOD） was detected in the two groups, and p22phox mRNA expression in peripheral blood mononuclear cell （PBMC） was determined with reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR）. Results The phagocyte NADPH oxidase subunit p22phox mRNA expression was significantly increased in the OSAHS group than that in the non-OSAHS group （P 〈0.01）. Compared with the non-OSAHS control group （（85.31±9.23） U/ml）, the levels of SOD were lower in patients with OSAHS （（59.65±11.61） U/ml （P 〈0.01）. There were significant differences in genotypes distribution in p22phox polymorphism between the two groups （P=0.02）. Compared with the non-OSAHS control group, the OSAHS group had a significantly higher T allele frequency in p22phox polymorphism （P=0.03）. There were independent effects of p22phox polymorphism on body mass index （BMI）, neck circumference （NC）, waist-to-hip ratio （WHR） in the OSAHS group, and the carriers of the T allele of p22phox polymorphism had greater NC, WHR, systolic blood pressure （SBP）, diastolic blood pressure （DBP） and apnea-hypopnea index （AHI）（P 〈0.05）, but the carriers of the T allele had lower SOD
