The atmospheric corrosion monitoring(ACM)technique has been widely employed to track the real-time corrosion behavior of metal ***,limited studies have applied ACM to the corrosion protection properties of organic *** study compared a bare epoxy coating with one containing zinc phosphate corrosion inhibitors,both applied on ACM sensors,to observe their corrosion protection properties over *** with artificial damage via scratches were exposed to immersion and alternating dry and wet environments,which allowed for monitoring galvanic corrosion currents in *** the corrosion tests,the ACM currents of the zinc phosphate/epoxy coating were considerably lower than those of the blank epoxy *** trend in ACM current variations closely matched the results obtained from regular electrochemical tests and surface *** alignment highlights the potential of the ACM technique in evaluating the corrosion protection capabilities of organic *** with the blank epoxy coating,the zinc phosphate/epoxy coating showed much-decreased ACM current values that confirmed the effective inhibition of zinc phosphate against steel corrosion beneath the damaged coating.

Lipid levels and insulin resistance markers in patients with colorectal cancer:Propensity score matching analysis

BACKGROUND Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a prevalent malignant neoplasm characterized by subtle early *** To investigate the correlation among serum lipid profiles,the triglyceride-glucose(TyG)index,and the atherosclerotic index(AI)in patients with ***,it explored the clinical diagnostic utility of combining serum lipids with cancer antigens in the context of *** A retrospective analysis encompassed 277 patients with CRC and 1034 healthy *** Following propensity score matching,patients with CRC exhibited significantly reduced levels of serum triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),as well as a diminished TyG ***,they displayed elevated AI levels compared to their healthy *** in advanced stages exhibited lower serum levels of TG,TC,and LDL-C compared to those in early *** with positive lymph node metastasis demonstrated reduced levels of TG,LDL-C,and the TyG *** operating characteristic analysis revealed that the combination of the TyG index,carcinoembryonic antigen,and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 yielded the highest positive prediction rate for CRC at 75.3%.CONCLUSION Preoperative serum lipid profiles exhibit a robust association with patients with *** concurrent assessment of multiple serum lipids and cancer antigens effectively enhances the diagnostic accuracy for CRC.

Deformable Perfect Vortex Wave-Front Modulation Based on Geometric Metasurface in Microwave Regime

Perfect vortex(PV) beam, as a novel paradigm to carry orbital angular momentum(OAM), owns constant radius of energy intensity and infinite mode of helical patterns, which overcomes the divergence performances of conventional vortex beam. However, common approaches for PV beam generation require optical cascading systems that should constitute of various lenses and components with bulk volume and high alignment standards,also cannot realize PV customization. Thus, in this paper, we propose a general scheme based on compact platform of geometric metasurface to achieve PV beams generations and deformable wave-front modulations. The adopted unit cell is designed with “ABA”-shaped configuration, which can high-efficiently transform circular polarization incident wave into its cross-polarized state and impose required PV phase patterns. Here, we construct series of metasurface lenses to achieve PVs with eight different OAM modes at operating frequency 10 GHz, and additionally conduct quasi-elliptical energy-ring intensities and fractional modals of PVs by introducing asymmetric periodicity and extra singularities. By exploiting compact metasurface platform, this general scheme for PV beam generation and modulation would provide a theoretical foundation for the electromagnetic waves controlling in modern wireless communication systems.

OsbZIP27 coordinates with OsHUB1 and OsHUB2 to modulate drought tolerance in rice

Histone H2B ubiquitination(H2Bub)is positively linked to transcriptional activation,but the genetic programs affected by H2Bub to enhance drought tolerance remain largely ***,we show that OsbZIP27 interacts directly with OsHUB1/2 to regulate drought tolerance in rice by binding to the promoters of OsHAK1 and OsGLN1 to achieve H2Bub and transcriptional ***,mutations in OsbZIP27 reduce transcription of OsHAK1 and OsGLN1,resulting in increased sensitivity to drought ***,loss of OsHUB1 and OsHUB2 function causes hypersensitivity to drought stress,whereas OsHUB2 overexpression enhances drought ***,our results indicate that OsbZIP27 coordinates with OsHUB1/2 to enhance rice drought tolerance by increasing H2Bub and expression of OsHAK1 and OsGLN1.

Research on acupuncture robots based on the OptiTrack motion capture system and a robotic arm

OBJECTIVE: To propose an automatic acupuncture robot system for performing acupuncture operations. METHODS: The acupuncture robot system consists of three components: automatic acupoint localization, acupuncture manipulations, and De Qi sensation detection. The OptiTrack motion capture system is used to locate acupoints, which are then translated into coordinates in the robot control system. A flexible collaborative robot with an intelligent gripper is then used to perform acupuncture manipulations with high precision. In addition, a De Qi sensation detection system is proposed to evaluate the effect of acupuncture. To verify the stability of the designed acupuncture robot, acupoints' coordinates localized by the acupuncture robot are compared with the Gold Standard labeled by a professional acupuncturist using significant level tests. RESULTS: Through repeated experiments for eight acupoints, the acupuncture robot achieved a positioning error within 3.3 mm, which is within the allowable range of needle extraction and acupoint insertion. During needle insertion, the robot arm followed the prescribed trajectory with a mean deviation distance of 0.02 mm and a deviation angle of less than 0.15°. The results of the lifting thrusting operation in the Xingzhen process show that the mean acupuncture depth error of the designed acupuncture robot is approximately 2 mm, which is within the recommended depth range for the Xingzhen operation. In addition, the average detection accuracy of the De Qi keywords is 94.52%, which meets the requirements of acupuncture effect testing for different dialects. CONCLUSION: The proposed acupuncture robot system streamlines the acupuncture process, increases efficiency, and reduces practitioner fatigue, while also allowing for the quantification of acupuncture manipulations and evaluation of therapeutic effects. Atractylenolide Ⅰ ameliorates post-infectious irritable bowel syndrome by inhibiting the polymerase Ⅰ and transcript release factor and c-Jun N-terminal kinase/inducible nitric oxide synthase pathway

OBJECTIVE: To explore the therapeutic effect and target of atractylenolide I(AT-I) on post-infectious irritable bowel syndrome(PI-IBS) rats. METHODS: Therefore, the preliminarily mechanism of AT-I in anti-PI-IBS were first predicted by network pharmacology and molecular docking, then the possible signaling pathways were systematically analyzed. Finally, the potential therapeutic targets and possible signaling pathways of AT-I on PI-IBS in Sprague-Dawley(SD) rat model were verified by experiments. RESULTS: AT-I could alleviate PI-IBS symptoms and reduce the expression of tumor necrosis factor α, interleukin-6 and Interferon-gamma in PI-IBS SD rat model and inhibit the c-Jun N-terminal kinase/inducible nitric oxide synthase(JNK/iNOS) pathway. Notably, AT-I treatment could inhibit the overexpression of polymerase Ⅰ and transcript release factor(PTRF). CONCLUSION: AT-I could alleviate PI-IBS symptoms through downregulation of PTRF and inhibiting the JNK/iNOS pathway. This study not only provides a scientific basis to clarify the anti-PI-IBS effect of AT-I and its mechanism but also suggests a novel promising therapeutic strategy to treat the PI-IBS.
