Function of IgD on lymphocyte activation and effect of hIgD-Fc-Ig fusion protein on human PBMC proliferation

Geoacoustic inversion based on reflection model of effective density fluid approximation

In order to obtain the physical and geoacoustic properties of marine sediments,an inverse method using reflection loss of different grazing angles is *** reflection loss is calculated according to the reflection model of effective density fluid approximation.A two-step hybrid optimization algorithm combining differential evolution and particle swarm optimization along with Bayesian inversion is employed in estimation of porosity,mean grain size,mass density and bulk modulus of *** on the above physical parameters,geoacoustic parameters,including sound speed and attenuation,are further *** to the numerical simulations,we can draw a conclusion that all the parameters can be well estimated with the exception of bulk modulus of *** particular,this indirect inverse method for bottom geoacoustic parameters performs high accuracy and strong *** relative errors are 0.092%and 17%,***,measured reflection loss data of sandy sediments at the bottom of a water tank is analyzed,and the estimation value,uncertainty and correlation of each parameter are *** availability of this inverse method is verified through comparison between inverse results and part of measured parameters.

Extended survival with metastatic pancreatic cancer under fruquintinib treatment after failed chemotherapy:Two case reports

BACKGROUND Pancreatic cancer is a highly malignant *** decades of treatment progress,the current five-year survival rate for patients is still less than 10%.For later-line treatment,the treatment options are even more ***-angiogenic drugs can improve progression-free survival in patients with advanced pancreatic *** data show that fruquintinib might improve the prognosis of advanced pancreatic cancer by targeting angiogenesis and lymphopoiesis,improving the abnormal vascular structure,and modulating the tumour immune *** SUMMARY We present two cases of third-line fruquintinib monotherapy that brought an extraprolonged progress-free survival(PFS)of 10 *** 1 took adjuvant gemcitabine-based and first-line nab-paclitaxel-based chemotherapy and then used local radiotherapy combined with programmed cell death 1 receptor(PD-1).Each line lasted approximately 7 ***,the patient took third-line fruquintinib,which was followed by stable disease for 10 months,during which no additional adverse effect was *** patient later refused to take fruquintinib due to difficulty urinating and lower abdominal pain after the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)*** patient died in February *** 2 also took two prior lines of chemotherapy and then local radiotherapy combined with *** confirmed disease progression,the patient experienced a continuous partial response after using fruquintinib monotherapy in the third *** the patient had COVID-19 in December 2022,fruquintinib was *** patient died in January 2023 due to disease *** Both cases achieved a PFS benefit from later-line single-agent fruquintinib *** its better safety profile,fruquintinib may be worth exploring and studying in more depth as a later-line treatment for pancreatic cancer patients.

Dear Editor,Alternative splicing of eukaryotic transcripts refers to the posttranscriptional process in which the coding regions(exons)of a precursor transcript are joined in different combinations through the removal or retention of non-coding intervening sequences(introns)to produce distinct mature messenger RNA(mRNA)transcripts and further generate one or more mature mRNAs(Lee and Rio,2015).Alternative splicing is revealed dysregulation in infectious *** pathogens hijack the splicing mechanism of host cells to complete their replications,accompanied by dysregulated innate immune response or cell damage,leading to the changes of alternative splicing landscape in host cells(Ashraf et al.,2019;Tomezsko et al.,2020;Kremsdorf et al.,2021).The regulation mechanism of alternative splicing by viral pathogens,such as hepatitis B virus(Duriez et al.,2017),human immunodeficiency virus 1(Tomezsko et al.,2020),Zika virus(Bonenfant et al.,2020)and enterovirus 71(Li et al.,2020),have been explored.

[Objective]The paper was to seek new varieties of high quality conventional rice suitable for Yangjiang area,Guangdong Province,China.[Method]In 2017,introduction test was performed with seven new varieties of high-quality conventional rice approved by Guangdong Province in recent years,including huangsilizhan,Guangjingruanzhan,Heliyouzhan,Huahang 48,Limiaozhan,Lvyinzhan,Yuehesimiao,to investigate the main agronomic traits and yield of all varieties tested.[Result]The comprehensive performance of Lvyinzhan,Guangjingruanzhan,Limiaozhan and Huahang 48 was outstanding,showing the characters of good yield,excellent rice quality and strong stress resistance.[Conclusion]Lvyinzhan,Guangjingruanzhan,Limiaozhan and Huahang 48 are suitable for large-scale demonstration and promotion in Yangjiang area.

Arc erosion behavior of Ag/Ni materials with different operation numbers was investigated by OM,3DOP and *** results indicated that the arc erosion of Ag/10Ni electrical contact material fabricated by sintering−extrusion technology was more and more serious with the operation numbers increasing from 1000 to *** the same operation numbers,the arc erosion on anode was more serious than that on ***,the pores preferred to emerge around the arc effect spot during the first 10000 *** the morphology of the molten silver on cathode and anode was different due to the action of gravity and arc ***,the relationships among arc energy,arc time,welding force,electric resistivity,temperature and mass change on contacts were discussed,which indicated that the mass loss on cathode was mainly caused by the fracture of molten bridge.
