The genome editing tool,clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/Cas9 system,has achieved successful therapeutic efficacy via precise modification of the genome and exceeded previous genome engineering methods owing to its versatility and *** expansion in biomedical research has benefited from this newly emerged technique,such as genetic diseases treatment,cancer characterization,and plant ***,the key challenge is efficient delivery of CRISPR components in vivo and nanotechnology plays an in dispensable role in non viral gene *** this review,we will first briefly describe the mechanism and delivery strategies of CRISPR/Cas9 ***,the past and current researches of nan oparticles based CRISPR/Cas9 system delivery for genome editi ng will be *** ally,we will discuss the challe nges and prospects of CRISPR/Cas9 system combi ned with nano tech no logy for clinical translation in the future.

In this paper two different control strategies designed to alleviate the response of quasi partially integrable Hamiltonian systems subjected to stochastic excitation are proposed. First, by using the stochastic averaging method for quasi partially integrable Hamiltonian systems, an n-DOF controlled quasi partially integrable Hamiltonian system with stochastic excitation is converted into a set of partially averaged It^↑o stochastic differential equations. Then, the dynamical programming equation associated with the partially averaged It^↑o equations is formulated by applying the stochastic dynamical programming principle. In the first control strategy, the optimal control law is derived from the dynamical programming equation and the control constraints without solving the dynamical programming equation. In the second control strategy, the optimal control law is obtained by solving the dynamical programming equation. Finally, both the responses of controlled and uncontrolled systems are predicted through solving the Fokker-Plank-Kolmogorov equation associated with fully averaged It^↑o equations. An example is worked out to illustrate the application and effectiveness of the two proposed control strategies.

Anammox bacterial abundance and biodiversity in greenhouse vegetable soil are influenced by high nitrate content

The anaerobic ammonium oxidizing(anammox) process has been found to play an important role in terrestrial ecosystems in recent years. However,the diversity and abundance of anammox bacteria in nitrogen(N)-rich agricultural soils under high fertilizer greenhouse conditions are still unclear. Two greenhouse fields with different N fertilizer input levels were chosen, and their soil profiles were studied with molecular technologies, including quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay, a clone library, and phylogenetic analysis based on hzsB(encoding anammox hydrazine synthase β-subunit) gene. Molecular analyses suggested that anammox bacteria were at their highest density at 10–20 cm soil depth, and that the anammox bacterial abundance was significantly lower at high N than at low N. Candidatus Brocadia was the sole anammox bacterial genus throughout the soil depth profiles. The highest diversity of anammox bacteria was found at 30–40 cm soil depth, and different phylotypic clusters of Candidatus Brocadia were associated with specific soil environmental factors, such as nitrates, soil depth, and total N. Correlation analyses and redundancy analyses confirmed that high nitrate content associated with high N fertilizer input had a significant negative influence on the abundance and biodiversity of anammox bacteria. These results imply that excessive use of N fertilizer would affect arid land soil N loss to the atmosphere by the anammox pathway.

BACKGROUND Angiomyolipoma(AML),the most common benign tumor of the kidney,is usually composed of dysmorphic blood vessels,smooth muscle,and mature adipose *** our knowledge,AML with cystic degeneration has rarely been *** degeneration,hemorrhage,and a lack of fat bring great challenges to the *** SUMMARY A 60-year-old man with hypertension presented with a 5-year history of cystic mass in his left *** fell 2 mo ago.A preoperative computed tomography(CT)scan showed a mixed-density cystic lesion without macroscopic fat density,the size of which had increased compared with before,probably due to hemorrhage caused by a *** nephrectomy was *** studies revealed that the lesion mainly consisted of tortuous,ectatic,and thick-walled blood vessels,mature adipose tissue,and smooth muscle-like spindle cells arranged around the abnormal blood *** tumor cells exhibited positivity for human melanoma black-45,Melan-A,smooth muscle actin,calponin,S-100,and neuron-specific enolase,rather than estrogen receptor,progesterone receptor,CD68,and *** Ki-67 labeling index was less than 5%.The final diagnosis was a fat-poor renal AML(RAML)with prominent cystic *** When confronting a large renal cystic mass,RAML should be included in the differential diagnosis.

Metastasis is the main cause of cancer-associated mortality. During this complicated process, some cancer cells, also called circulating tumor cells （CTCs）, detach from primary sites, enter bloodstream and extravasate at metastatic site. Thrombocytosis is frequently observed in patients with metastatic cancers suggesting the important role of platelets in metastasis. Therefore this review focuses on how platelets facilitate the generation of CTCs, protect them from various host attacks, such as immune assaults, apoptosis and shear stress, and regulate CTCs intravasation/extravasation. Platelet-derived cytokines and receptors are involved in this cascade. Identification the mechanisms underlie platelet-CTCs interactions could lead to the development of new platelet-targeted therapeutic strategy to reduce metastasis.
