Acne inversa/hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic,recurrent,inflammatory skin disease that affects the pilosebaceous units,causinfollicular *** etiology and pathogenesis of acne inversa/hidradenitis suppurativa involves internal and external factors such as genetic susceptibility,inflammation and immunity,microorganisms,obesity,and *** inversa/hidradenitis suppurativa is difficult to treat,and the current aim of treatment is to control the frequency and duration of disease flares and improve the quality of *** protocols for acne inversa/hidradenitis suppurativa should be selected based on the disease severity *** treatments include antibiotics,retinoids,biologics,immunosuppressive agents,and antiandrogen *** treatments include surgery and laser/light *** consensus aims to further standardize the diagnosis and treatment procedures of acne inversa/hidradenitis suppurativa in china to facilitate its diagnosis and treatment.

Genetic diagnosis of Liddle＇s syndrome by mutation analysis of SCNN1B and SCNN1G in a chinese family

Background Liddle＇s syndrome is a rare autosomal-dominant monogenic form of salt-sensitive hypertension. This study aimed to screen the gene mutation in 13 and y subunits of the epithelial sodium channel （ENaC） of a chinese family with Liddle＇s syndrome, an autosomal dominant form of hypertension. Methods DNA samples from the proband with early-onset, treatment-resistant hypertension and suppressed plasma renin activity were initially screened for mutations in the C-terminal exons of the ENaC 13 or y subunit genes, using amplification by polymerase chain reaction and direct DNA sequencing. We also screened the C-terminus of SCNNIB and SCNNIG in family members, and screened for the mutation in 150 controls. Results Genetic analysis of the 13 ENaC gene revealed a missense mutation of CCC to TCC at codon 616 in the proband, her mother and her grandmother. One hundred and fifty randomly selected controls had not the mutation, indicating that this is not a common genetic polymorphism. There was no mutation of the y ENaC gene in any of the individuals examined. Conclusions Through direct DNA sequencing analysis, we established the diagnosis of Liddle＇s syndrome for the proband and her families, and provided tailored therapies to this abnormality. These results provide further evidence that Pro616Ser is a critical amino acid that has a key role in the inhibition of sodium channel activity.

A new nucleophilic 1,3-rearrangement is observed when treating 2-methoxyquinolino-3-lithium with an α-C substituted deoxybenzoin,and this rearrangement yielded an unusual 3,4-disubstituted 3,*** similar reactions were designed and executed to investigate this novel 1,3-rearrangement,and a mechanism involving a nucleophilic addition and a following 1,3-rearrangement with an unusual dearomatization on the quinoline ring is proposed.

目的阐明肥厚型梗阻性心肌病(HCM)患者术后左心室质量指数(LVMI)的变化与与室间隔心肌切除术的相关性,进一步确定LVMI预测室间隔心肌切除术后转归的价值。方法回顾性纳入2012年9月至2019年12月中国医学科学院阜外医院完成术前及术后左右1年行心脏核磁检查的HCM患者89例,研究室间隔心肌切除术术前和切除术后的左心室质量(LVM)差与手术切除心肌重量的线性相关性,并进行中远期随访,应用Cox比例风险模型构建术后复合不良心血管事件发生的预测模型,并应用Kaplan-Meier生存分析比较不同LVMI组间的室间隔心肌切除术后中远期转归结果。结果术后LVM较术前显著性下降[(187.9±115.3)g比(153.6.9±99.3)g,P26.7(3.7,61.5)g,术中切除心肌重量平均为(11.0±5.1)g,两者比较具有统计学差异(P2,R=0.268,R2=0.072)。9例(10.1%)患者在平均(43.4.6±20.5)个月的随访期间发生不良复合事件。在Cox比例风险回归模型中,室间隔心肌切除术后最显著的预测因子是CMR测量的LVMI(风险比1.025,95%CI 1.009~1.040,P=0.002)。在接受者操作特征曲线(ROC)分析中,LVMI≥95.1 g/m2可准确预测不良复合事件发生(敏感度77.8%;特异度77.5%;曲线下面积AUC=0.748,P=0.0109)。Kaplan-Meier生存曲线图提示,HCM患者LVMI增高组室间隔心肌切除术后中远期不良复合事件发生率高(P<0.001)。结论心肌切除术后左心室心肌质量消退明显大于术中切除心肌重量,室间隔心肌切除术利于梗阻性HCM患者的左心室逆向重构。术前较高的LVMI是HCM患者心肌切除术后中远期不良事件的独立预测因子。

Two series of phenothiazine derivatives were designed and synthesized. All compounds were tested for anti-tuberculosis activities against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37RV. In comparison with mother compound of chlorpromazine, compound 6e shows promising anti-tuberculosis activity and much less mammalian cell cytotoxicity, compound 6e merits to be further explored as new anti-tuberculosis agents.

EGb761, an extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves, reduces insulin resistance in a high-fat-fed mouse model

EGb761,a standardized and well-defined product extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves,has beneficial effects on the treatment of multiple diseases,including diabetes and ***,it is still unclear whether EGb761 can increase insulin *** objectives of the present study are to evaluate the effects of EGb761 on insulin sensitivity in an obese and insulinresistant mouse model,established through chronic feeding of C57BL/6J mice with a high-fat diet(HFD),and to explore potential *** fed with HFD for 18 weeks(starting from 4 weeks of age)developed obesity,dyslipidemia(as indicated by biochemical measurements of blood glucose,triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),and free fatty acids(FFA)),and insulin resistance(as determined by the oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)and the homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)index),compared to control mice fed with a standard laboratory *** treatment of the HFD-fed mice with EGb761,at low(100 mg/kg),medium(200 mg/kg),or high(400 mg/kg)doses,via oral gavage(once daily)for 8 weeks(starting from 26 weeks of age)dose-dependently enhanced glucose tolerance in OGTT,and decreased both the insulin levels(by 29%,55%,and 70%,respectively),and the HOMA-IR index values(by 50%,69%,and 80%,respectively).EGb761 treatment also ameliorated HFD-induced obesity,dyslipidemia,and liver injury,as indicated by decreases in body weight(by 4%,11%,and 16%,respectively),blood TC levels(by 23%,32%,and 37%,respectively),blood TG levels(by 17%,23%,and 33%,respectively),blood FAA levels(by 35%,38%,and 46%,respectively),and liver index(liver weight/body weight)values(by 12.8%,25%,and 28%,respectively)in the low,medium,and high EGb761 dose groups,*** further mechanism studies,EGb761 was found to protect hepatic insulin receptor b and insulin receptor substrate 1 from HFD-induced degradation,and to keep the AMP-activated protein kinase,which plays a crucial role in reducing lipotoxicity,from HFD-induc

Objective:This study was performed to estimate the prevalence of hidradenitis suppurativa(HS)in china and describe the demographic and clinical features of HS in the chinese ***:This multicenter clinic-based cross-sectional study was conducted in dermatology clinics within 19 hospitals located in 15 cities/provinces across china from September to October *** prevalence of HS was calculated as the percentage of patients with HS among all visitors at participating clinics during the 1-month study *** was independently diagnosed by two certified dermatologists at each *** visitors at participating clinics were screened,and all patients with HS were invited to participate in a questionnaire survey to elucidate the demographics and clinical features of HS in the chinese ***:We identified 92 patients with HS among 274,742 visitors at participating *** prevalence rate was 0.03349%or 33.49 per 100,000 population(95%confidence interval,26.64–40.32),and the female:male ratio was 1.0:***:The overall prevalence of HS in china was lower than that in Western and other Asian countries with a predominance of male patients.

目的总结4例脑膜癌病患者脑脊液细胞学和影像学特点,以提高其诊断与治疗水平。方法回顾分析2016年2月至2019年1月收治的经临床及液基薄片法脑脊液细胞学确诊的4例脑膜癌病患者的临床表现、影像学和脑脊液细胞学特点。结果 4例患者均有肿瘤病史(肺癌2例、胃癌1例、乳腺癌1例),无一例发现MRI明显脑膜强化征,PET-CT亦无阳性所见(1例)。腰椎穿刺脑脊液检查,颅内压升高3例、白细胞计数增加2例、葡萄糖水平降低2例、蛋白定量升高3例;液基薄片法脑脊液细胞学检测均发现异型性肿瘤细胞。4例患者出院后,1例继续治疗并随访至今,其余3例确诊后1~12个月死亡。结论脑膜癌病患者的影像学表现不典型,临床病史可协助诊断;脑脊液细胞学检测对明确诊断具有重要意义。
