City cluster is an effective platform for encouraging regionally coordinated *** reduction of carbon emissions within city cluster via the spatial association network between cities can help coordinate the regional carbon emission management,realize sustainable development,and assist China in achieving the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality *** paper applies the improved gravity model and social network analysis(SNA)to the study of spatial correlation of carbon emissions in city clusters and analyzes the structural characteristics of the spatial correlation network of carbon emissions in the yangtze River Delta(YRD)city cluster in China and its influencing *** results demonstrate that:1)the spatial association of carbon emissions in the YRD city cluster exhibits a typical and complex multi-threaded network *** network association number and density show an upward trend,indicating closer spatial association between cities,but their values remain generally ***,the network hierarchy and network efficiency show a downward trend but remain high.2)The spatial association network of carbon emissions in the YRD city cluster shows an obvious‘core-edge’distribution *** network is centered around Shanghai,Suzhou and Wuxi,all of which play the role of‘bridges’,while cities such as Zhoushan,Ma'anshan,Tongling and other cities characterized by the remote location,single transportation mode or lower economic level are positioned at the edge of the network.3)Geographic proximity,varying levels of economic development,different industrial structures,degrees of urbanization,levels of technological innovation,energy intensities and environmental regulation are important influencing factors on the spatial association of within the YRD city ***,policy implications are provided from four aspects:government macro-control and market mechanism guidance,structural characteristics of the‘core-edge’network,reconfigura

Selective activation of C-O bond is of fundamental importance in the precise conversion of oxygenates into value-added compounds in an atom-economic and sustainable manner, and meanwhile, the structurally well-defined dual-atoms catalysts (DACs) have been scarcely investigated in this field. In this study, a series of transition metal DACs anchored on nitrogen-doped graphene (TM2/NC, TM=Pt, Ir, Rh, Pd, Ru, Co, Ni and Cu) was constructed to make a comprehensive investigation of their selectivity in the hydrogenative transformation of furfuryl alcohol (FAL), an important biomass platform molecule, to 1,2-pentanediol (1,2-PeD) via selective cleavage of furanic C5-O bond, by density functional theory (DFT) calculations and microkinetic modeling. We found that Ir2/NC demonstrated a high selectivity for the cleavage of furanic C5-O bond to produce 1,2-PeD, while the production of THFAL or 1,5-pentanediol (1,5-PeD) on other TM2/NC catalysts are more favorable. Furthermore, we found that the selective C-O bond cleavage of FAL furan ring is affected by the orbital overlap between the d-orbitals of the anchored metal atoms and the p-orbitals of the adsorbed C atom in FAL, suggesting that the selectivity of the C-O bond cleavage is inextricably related with the electronic property of the anchored metals.

This paper proposes a method for learning background restoration for infrared small target detection, employing a local sparse dictionary alongside an equalized structural texture representation. The method is specifically designed for the detection of small infrared targets, accommodating various levels of brightness, spatial size, and intensity. Our proposed model intelligently combines global low-rankness and local sparsity to estimate the rank of the background tensor, leveraging spatial and structural information to overcome the limitations posed by insufficient detailed texture knowledge. Subsequently, a structural texture representation, combining local gradient maps and local intensity maps, is applied to emphasize small objects. By comparing our method with nine advanced and representative approaches and quantifying the comparison using various metrics, the experimental results indicate that our proposed method has achieved favorable outcomes in both quantitative assessments and visual results.

To improve the wear performance of CoCrAlYTa coating,part of the carbon nanotubes(CNTs)chemically reacted with Ta to form reinforcement phase(TaC),while the other CNTs were retained as lubrication ***,the CoCrAlYTa-xCNTs(x=0,1,2,and 4;wt%)composite coatings were prepared by laserinduction hybrid cladding(LIHC),and the microstructure and wear resistance of coatings were systematically *** show that the coatings are mainly composed of TaC,y-(Co,Cr)andβ-(Co,Cr)*** the CNTs content increases from 0 wt%to 4 wt%,the volume fraction of TaC increases from 13.11 vol%to 16.12 vol%.Meanwhile,the nano-hardness ofγ-(Co,Cr)andβ-(Co,Cr)Al are improved from 7.49 and 9.72 to 9.36 and 11.19 GPa,*** a result,the microhardness of coating increases from HV536.25 to HV 738.16,the wear rate decreases from32.4×10^(-3)to 6.1×10^(-3)mg·m^(-1),and the average friction coefficient decreases from 0.55 to *** good wear performance of the coating is attributed to the formation of TaC and the existence of remained CNTs lubricant film.
