Approximately 350 million people worldwide are chronically infected by hepatitis B virus(HBV).HBV causes severe liver diseases including cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).In about 25%of affected patients,HBV infection proceeds to ***,the mechanisms by which HBV affects the host cell to promote viral replication and its pathogenesis have been the subject of intensive research *** evidence indicates that both autophagy and micro RNAs(mi RNAs)are involved in HBV replication and HBV-related *** this review,we summarize how HBV induces autophagy,the role of autophagy in HBV infection,and HBV-related *** further discuss the emerging roles of mi RNAs in HBV infection and how HBV affects mi RNAs *** accumulating knowledge pertaining to autophagy and mi RNAs in HBV replication and its pathogenesis may lead to the development of novel strategies against HBV infection and HBV-related HCC tumorigenesis.

布氏杆菌性脊柱炎影像表现及治疗

目的分析布氏杆菌性脊椎炎的影像学表现与治疗。方法本组16例均行X线摄片并行CT检查,病灶分布腰椎多于胸椎,其中L4发病率最高,血清试管凝集法常规检查及ELISA特异性抗体IgM、IgG检测。结果本组16例入院经作CT检查,7例MRI检查,血清凝集滴度（1∶160,ELISA检测之IgM、IgG均阳性而获确诊,在药物对症与抗菌治疗基础上,2例采取介入方法,7例采取手术病灶清除。本组仅12例（包括手术8例）进行随访1-2年,痊愈10例,好转2例。结论布氏杆菌性脊椎炎影像学具有特征性表现;正确选择微创术和手术病灶清除术可以缩短疗程,减少并发症,提高治愈率;无论手术与否,长期、足量、联合、多途径敏感抗菌素的应用是治疗和防止本病复发的最重要和最可靠的疗法。

Aim： To determine the deletion junctions of infertile men in Taiwan with azoospermia factor region c （AZFc） deletions and to evaluate the genotype/phenotype correlation. Methods： Genomic DNAs from 460 infertile men were examined. Bacterial artificial chromosome clones were used to verify the accuracy of polymerase chain reaction. Deletion junctions of the AZFc region were determined by analysis of sequence-tagged sites and gene-specific markers. Results： Complete AZFc deletions, including BPY2, CDY1 and DAZ genes, were identified in 24 men. The proximal breakpoints were clustered between sY1197 and sY1192, and the distal breakpoints were clustered between sY1054 and sYl125 in all but one of the 24 men. The testicular phenotypes of men with complete AZFc deletion varied from oligozoospermia, to hypospematogenesis, to maturation arrest. Conclusion： We identified a group of infertile men with uniform deletion junctions of AZFc in the Taiwan population. Despite this homogeneous genetic defect in the AZFc region, no clear genotypedphenotype correlation could be demonstrated. （Asian JAndrol 2006 Mar; 8： 205-211）

联合指标对前列腺癌活检阳性结果预测的价值分析

目的探索多指标联合对前列腺癌初次穿刺活检阳性诊断的预测价值。方法选取本院首次进行前列腺穿刺术的患者345例为观察对象,根据前列腺初次穿刺活检结果,将其分别纳入阳性组及阴性组,分别对每组的年龄、tPSA、β-二微球蛋白等实验室指标及影像学检查等进行单因素及多因素分析,并建立ROC曲线分析各指标独立及联合预测前列腺癌穿刺活检阳性结果。结果多因素回归分析显示前列腺癌家族史(P=0.031)、tPSA(P=0.003)、β-二微球蛋白(P=0.008)、直肠指检(P=0.001)、PSAD(P=0.036)及TRUS(P=0.046)是前列腺癌初次穿刺活检阳性的独立影响因素。预测前列腺癌首次穿刺活检阳性结果的指标中,直肠指检的敏感性和特异性分别为79.10%和48.34%;TRUS分别为94.02%和70.62%;tPSA分别为84.2%和56.3%;β-二微球蛋白分别为79.6%和62.9%;PSAD分别为91.0%和41.2%。tPSA与PSAD联合预测的准确性最高(AUC=0.975)。结论直肠指检、TRUS、血清tPSA、β-二微球蛋白及PSAD可作为前列腺癌初次穿刺活检阳性的预测指标,tPSA联合PSAD可明显提高预测的准确性。

We investigated optically controllable gray-level diffraction from a body-centered tetragonal photonic crystal that was based on an azo-dye-doped holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal. The sample is fabricated by use of two-beam interference with multi-exposure. Bichromatic pumping beams at various intensities were used to pump the sample to change the concentration of the cis isomer and, in turn, modulate the effective index of the photonic crystals as well as their diffraction intensity. Three pumping processes were utilized to produce gray-level switching of diffractive light. This study demonstrates the optimum gray-level to be 15-level of up-step and down-step. The simulation of the diffraction intensity under bichromatic pumping sources was also studied.

A chlorination surface treatment was used to reduce the surface states of an n-type GaN surface, which improves the Schottky performances of the resultant metal-semiconductor contact. At a reverse bias of 10V, the dark current of the GaN-based UV-PDs with and without chlorinated surface treated were 28.1nA and 0.59 A, respectively. The dark current of chlorine-treated Schottky UV-PDs was 21 times of magnitude smaller than that of those without chlorination treatment. The product of quantum efficiency and internal gain of the GaN Schottky UV-PDs without and with chlorination treatment under a reverse voltage of 10V at a wavelength of 330nm was 650% and 100%, respectively. The internal gain of chlorine-treated GaN UV-PDs can be reduced due to the improvement of surface state density.

At first, Cr-Si (28 wt% Cr, 72 wt% Si) and Ni-Cr (80 wt% Ni, 20 wt% Cr) thin-film materials were deposited by using sputtering method at the same parameters, and their physical and electrical properties were investigated. The resistances of Cr-Si and Ni-Cr thin-film resistors decreased with the increase of deposition time (thickness) and their resistivity had no apparent variations as the deposition time increased. The temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of single-layer Cr-Si thin-film resistors was negative and the TCR value of single-layer Ni-Cr thin-film resistors was positive. For that, we used Cr-Si thin films as upper (or lower) layer and Ni-Cr thin films as lower (upper) layer to investigate a bi-layer thin-film structure. The deposition time of Ni-Cr thin films was fixed at 10 min and the deposition time of Cr-Si thin films was changed from 10 min to 60 min. We had found that as Cr-Si thin films were used as upper or lower layers they had similar deposition rates. We had also found that the thickness and stack method of Cr-Si thin films had large effects on the resistance and TCR values of the bi-layer thin-film resistors.
