背景:脑膜瘤是发生于硬脑膜内表面,由脑膜皮细胞(蛛网膜细胞)构成的肿瘤,是一类异质性肿瘤,尽管大部分脑膜瘤呈现良性和缓慢生长的病程,一些病例会出现侵袭性行为并且对常规的治疗无效。因此,进一步深入了解预后因素与病人生存、复发和肿瘤分级之间的关系非常必要。这样的研究能让我们提高对肿瘤生物学行为预测的准确性,并为病人选择最佳的治疗方案。常用的预后指标包括手术切除的完整性,病人年龄、性别和肿瘤分级,这些因素已经在文献中被详细的论述过。然而,各种分子标记物和预后之间的关系还需要进一步研究。不断有学者研究和发现新的生物标记来帮助明确脑膜瘤病人的预后。到目前为止,一些标记物已经明确在脑膜瘤预后判定中有预测作用。尽管大多数脑膜瘤是良性的,生长缓慢,恶性脑膜瘤更具有侵袭性和难治性。因此,研究预后因素与生存、复发和肿瘤分级的相关性是极其重要的,这些研究将更能准确地预测肿瘤恶性脑膜瘤的行为并帮助选择最佳的治疗方案。一般预后因素,如手术范围,年龄、年级和肿瘤分级已经有很多报道,然而各种分子改变和预后之间的关系需要进一步研究。增殖指数(Ki-67计数)是最常用于评估脑膜瘤细胞增殖活性的指标。与无复发的脑膜瘤相比,高增殖指数与脑膜瘤的不良预后和复发密切相关。然而,增殖指数作为一个重要的指标在大体上完整贴附于脑表面的脑膜肿瘤复发预测中的作用并未被详实研究和证实。上皮膜抗原(EMA)是特异性很好的脑膜瘤标记物,因为大部分脑膜瘤波形蛋白(Vimentin)和EMA呈阳性表达。EMA更多表达于上皮样变异型的脑膜瘤,例如微囊型脑膜瘤和分泌型脑膜瘤。在最近20年间,性激素受体和脑膜瘤的关系被广泛研究,研究者发现大部分脑膜瘤表达PR而不表达ER,并且PR表达情况与患者的年龄、性别、肿瘤位置以及肿瘤大小都不相关。另一些研究人员报道在高复发风险的脑膜瘤中PR表达成下降趋势。还有两例报道称PR在脑膜皮细胞型脑膜瘤变异型中广泛表达,表达情况与组织学亚型无关。CD34是一个血管内皮细胞的标记物用来显示组织的血管密度情况。CD34低表达提示这组脑膜瘤对抗血管生成治疗效果不佳。CD34在脑膜瘤中表达情况与抗血管生成治疗的关系还需要进一步研究证实。15%的脑膜瘤呈CD34阳性。目的:分析脑膜瘤中Ki-67,EMA,PR和CD34的免疫组化表达情况,探讨其临床病理学特点和预后之间的关系。材料与方法:127名患者来自于2015年10月至2016年3月间诊治于吉林大学白求恩第一医院神经肿瘤外科的患者。这些患者中38例为男性,89例为女性。其中80名患者年龄大于50岁,47例患者年龄小于或等于50岁。所有参与研究的患者都接受了一系列的检查来确诊脑膜瘤。至少两名高年资的肿瘤科医生综合各种临床检查信息作出脑膜瘤的诊断。诊断依据包括脑核磁成像(MRI),病理组织学检查和免疫组织化学检查等。其它诊断信息还有病人的年龄、性别,肿瘤部位、肿瘤组织学分级,有无周围脑组织浸润以及临床评分等。在整个研究期间病人都接受持续随访,随访包括重新检查和监测有无复发。所有初始和随访的数据均纪录下来进一步分析研究。阳性结果判读标准:由Fromowitz用双盲实验得出的染色滴度评定标准按染色强弱分为:无着色(-)评为0分,浅黄色(+)评为1分,黄色(++)评为2分,深棕色(+++)评为3分。依据阳性细胞的百分比分为:无阳性细胞评为0分,30%以下细胞阳性评为1分,31%到70%细胞阳性评为2分,71%以上的细胞阳性评为3分。最终染色结果为强弱滴度评分和肿瘤细胞阳性百分比评分相加,0分评为阴性,1-2分评为弱阳性(+),3-4分评为中等阳性(++),5-6分评为强阳性(+++)。统计分析:我们用标准t检验比较连续变量并用卡方测验比较个临床病理特点变量。单因素变量和多因素变量Cox回归分析被用来研究脑膜瘤相关临床病理因素。同时我们用卡方测验比较脑膜瘤EMA表达情况与各种不同临床特点和病理类型之间的关系。所用统计分析都是用SPSS 18.0软件进行的。除非特殊说明,双侧检测P值小于0.05被认为有显著的统计学意义。结果:(1)我们统计了入组研究脑膜瘤病人各项临床病理特点,发现74例肿瘤位于脑的凸面(58.3%),16例位于颅窝(12.6%),2例位于脑幕(1.6%),11例位于矢状窦旁和大脑镰旁(8.7%),24例位于其它位置(18.9%)。依据2007年WHO脑膜瘤诊断标准,89例肿瘤被诊断为脑膜瘤Ⅰ级,33例为ⅡI级,其中有12例为复发病例。参与研究的127例脑膜瘤患者中,有38例男性(29.9%),89例女性(70.1%)。其中80名患者年龄大于50岁(63.0%),47名患者年龄小于或等于50岁(37.0%)。我们将研究的病人按肿瘤大小分为两组,小于5立方厘米的患者为92例(72.4%),大于5立方厘米的为35例(27.

BACKGROUND:Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is thought to be chronic and the factors leading to viral clearance or persistence are poorly *** study was undertaken to investigate the possibility of a significant relationship between the spontaneous clearance or the persistence of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection and cytokine and apoptosis gene polymorphisms in Tunisian patients on ***:Polymorphisms of the genes IL-1 (-889 IL-1α,-511 and +3954 IL-1β,IL-1Ra),IL-18 (-137 and-607),IL-12 (-1188) and Apo1/Fas (-670) were determined by PCR-RFLP,PCR-SSP and PCR-VNTR in 100 healthy blood donors and 100 patients infected with HCV and undergoing *** patients were classified into two groups:G1 consisted of 76 active chronic hepatitis patients (positive for HCV RNA) and G2 consisted of 24 hemodialysed patients who spontaneously eliminated the virus (negative for HCV RNA).RESULTS:The frequency of genotype association [-137GC/-607CA] IL-18 was higher in G2 (41.7%) than in G1 (15.8%) (P=0.008;OR=0.26;95% CI,0.10-0.73).We also found a higher frequency of the AA genotype of the Apo1/Fas gene in G2 (41.6%) than in G1 (17.5%) (P=0.026;OR=3.49;95% CI,1.13-10.69).Adjustment for known covariate factors (age,gender and genotype) confirmed these univariate findings and revealed that the genotype association GC-CA of the (-137 and-607) IL-18 gene and the AA genotype of the Apo1/Fas gene were associated with the clearance of HCV (P=0.041 and 0.017,respectively).CONCLUSION:The two genotypes GC-CA of the (-137 and-607) IL-18 polymorphism and the AA genotype of the Apo1/Fas gene influence the outcome of HCV infection in Tunisian patients on hemodialysis.

AIM: To determine the composition of both fecal and duodenal mucosa-associated microbiota in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) patients and healthy subjects using molecular-based techniques. METHODS: Fecal and duodenal mucosa brush samples were obtained from 41 IBS patients and 26 healthy subjects. Fecal samples were analyzed for the composition of the total microbiota using fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) and both fecal and duodenal brush samples were analyzed for the composition of bif idobacteria using real-time polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS: The FISH analysis of fecal samples revealed a 2-fold decrease in the level of bifidobacteria (4.2 ± 1.3 vs 8.3 ± 1.9, P < 0.01) in IBS patients compared to healthy subjects, whereas no major differences in other bacterial groups were observed. At the species level, Bifidobacterium catenulatum levels were significantly lower (6 ± 0.6 vs 19 ± 2.5, P < 0.001) in the IBS patients in both fecal and duodenal brush samples than in healthy ***: Decreased bifidobacteria levels in both fecal and duodenal brush samples of IBS patients compared to healthy subjects indicate a role for microbiotic composition in IBS pathophysiology.

Ag2S nano dots have already bee n dem onstrated as promisi ng n ear-i nfrared (NIR-II, 1.0-1.45 pm) emitting nan oprobes with low toxicity, high penetration and high resolution for in vivo imaging of, for example, tumors and vasculature. In this work, we have systematically investigated the pote ntial applicati on of function alized Ag2S nano dots for accurate imaging of damaged myocardium tissues after a myocardial in farction in duced by either partial or global ischemia. Ag2S nano dots surface-function alized with the an giote nsin II peptide (ATI I) have show n over 10-fold enhanced binding efficiency to damaged tissues than non-specifically (PEG) functionalized Ag2S nanodots due to their interaction with the upregulated angiotensin II receptor type I (AT1R). It is demonstrated how the NIR-II images generated by ATII-functionalized Ag2S nanodots contain valuable information about the location and extension of damaged tissue in the myocardium allowing for a proper identification of the occluded artery as well as an in direct evaluati on of the damage level. The pote ntial applicati on of Ag2S nano dots in the n ear future for in vivo imaging of myocardial infarction was also corroborated by performing proof of concept whole body imaging experiments.

Environmental design is concerned with the function of people within an environment and their interactions. Subway stations spaces are important examples of public spaces that are in close connection with the social life of people. Also, the fact that the social interactions and relations between people and city environments are becoming indispensable for subway station space indicates that these spaces play an essential role in urban life. This paper addresses the result of a study conducted by the authors on the influential elements pivotal to the improvement of social interactions in subway stations. The theory of John Lang in Urban design with consideration of social interaction was considered in this study. The objective of the study was to identify the architectural requirements in improving social interaction between people and environment in subway station spaces according to an evidence based design approach. To do so, relevant literature in different disciplines, architecture, urban design, social sustainability and so on, were reviewed Next, the most important environmental factors which contribute to human behavior in public spaces were derived and analyzed. Data of the study were collected via questionnaires filled out by the users of Tehran＇s subway stations. The collected data were analyzed and the architectural elements/requirements for improving social interactions were classified. The results of the study indicate that in the case of architectural requirements, contribution to the improvement of social interactions, design considerations for physical and mental safety, accessibility and lighting are the most important factors.

AIM： To detect a possible association between the polymorphism of the （-670 A/G） Fas/Apol gene promoter and susceptibility to Crohn＇s disease （CD） and ulcerative colitis （UC） in the Tunisian population. METHODS： The （-670 A/G） Fas polymorphism was analyzed in 105 patients with CD, 59 patients with UC, and 100 controls using the polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism method. RESULTS： Significantly lower frequencies of the Fas -670 A allele and A/A homozygous individuals were observed in CD and UC patients when compared with controls. Analysis of （-670 A/G） Fas polymorphism with respect to sex in CD and UC showed a significant difference in A/A genotypes between female patients and controls （P corrected = 0.004 ＂in CD patients＂ and P corrected = 0.02 ＂in UC patients＂, respectively）. Analysis also showed a statistically significant association between genotype AA of the （-670 A/G） polymorphism and the ileum localization of the lesions （P corrected = 0.048） and between genotype GG and the colon localization （P corrected = 0.009）. The analysis of IBD patients according to clinical behavior revealed no difference. CONCLUSION： Fas-670 polymorphism was associated with the development of CD and UC in the Tunisian population.

In the present study, porous structure of raw and calcined phosphate ore particles was examined. The specific surface area and the pore volume were determined by nitrogen adsorption. Raw particles and calcined ores were leached using dilute phosphoric acid solution (4% P2O5). In all cases, the ESEM (Environmental Scanning Electron Microscopy) observations show that the grain of phosphate holds its shape ovoidale. The sample heated at 780?C presented the lowest specific surface area 0.6 m2/g at each reaction time, and the unreacted phases were analysed using XRD, FT-IR, Nitrogen adsorption and ESEM observations. The selective leaching curves were evaluated in order to test the validity of kinetics models. A mathematical model in the following form was applied. The dissolution of the two samples (raw and calcined phosphate) has been observed to take place in two steps: the first being fast and the second being slow.

Phenotype-driven is the name for an ap-proach used to study gene functions through mutagenesis, location and cloning of the mutant gene. In this study, 150 male C57BL/6J(B6) mice were treated with ENU and repro-duced a total offspring of 3860. Of these descendants, 210 exhibited mutation phenotypes by screening, and more than 10 of them are hereditable. Four kinds of mutant mice, named Wbct, W-1Bao, W-2Bao, and W-3Bao, showed dominant hereditary white spot mutation with partial albinism on their belly, distal limbs and tail terminal. To map these mutant genes, 39 microsatellites, equally distributed on the mouse genome and with difference between B6 and DBA/2J (D2), were selected to scan the genome after discrimination of the white spots in the F2 mice [(B6×D2)×D2]. It is found that, the log odds score (LODS) between W-1Bao and D5Mit168 is 0.56, and the LODS of W-1Bao and D5Mit352 is 4.47. With the gradual application of microsatellites D5Mit290, D5Mit312, D5Mit308 and D5Mit356 that are close to the mutant gene, and the number of F2 mice going up to 537, the mutant W-1Bao is located between D5Mit356 and D5Mit308 on chro-mosome 5, about 42.19 cM from the centromere. In the same way, W-2Bao and W-3Bao are mapped nearby W-1Bao, and Wbct is located on chromosome 1, about 41.6 cM from the centro-mere. After searching for the mouse genome database (MGD) and performing a one-by-one study of all genes located on chromosome subregion, it is believed that the kit gene is an excellent candidate for the white spot mutations of W-1Bao, W-2Bao and W-3Bao.
