Experimental study of the mass transfer behavior of carbon dioxide absorption into ternary phase change solution in a packed tower

Phase change absorbents for CO_(2)are of great interest because they are expected to greatly reduce the heat energy consumption during the regeneration process.Compared with other phase change absorbents,monoethanolamine(MEA)-sulfolane-water is inexpensive and has a fast absorption rate.It is one of the most promising solvents for large-scale industrial applications.Therefore,this study investigates the mass transfer performance of this phase change system in the process of CO_(2)absorption in a packed tower.By comparing the phase change absorbent and the ordinary absorbent,it is concluded that the use of MEA/sulfolane phase change absorbent has significantly improved mass transfer efficiency compared to a single MEA absorbent at the same concentration.In the 4 mol·L^(-1)MEA/5 mol·L^(-1)sulfolane system,the CO_(2)loading of the upper liquid phase after phase separation is almost zero,while the volume of the lower liquid phase sent to the desorption operation is about half of the total volume of the absorbent,which greatly reduces the energy consumption.This study also investigates the influence of operating parameters such as lean CO_(2)loading,gas and liquid flow rates,CO_(2)partial pressure,and temperature on the volumetric mass transfer coefficient(K_(G)α_(V)).The research shows that K_(G)α_(V) increases with increasing liquid flow rate and decreases with the increase of lean CO_(2)loading and CO_(2)partial pressure,while the inert gas flow rate and temperature have little effect on K_(G)α_(V).In addition,based on the principle of phase change absorption,a predictive equation for the K_(G)α_(V) of MEA-sulfolane in the packed tower was established.The K_(G)α_(V) obtained from the experiment is consistent with the model prediction,and the absolute average deviation(AAD)is 7.8%.

In China,pig feces is the predominant source of excrement produced b y animal husbandry.Improper use or direct discharge of pig feces can result in contamination of natural water systems.Microbial source tracking(MST)technology can identify the sources of fecal pollution in environmental water,and contribute to the management of pig fecal pollution by local environmental protection agencies.However,the accuracy of such assays can be context-dependent,and they have not been comprehensively evaluated under Chinese conditions.We aimed to compare the performance of five previously reported nig-specific MST assays(PF,Pig-Bac 1 STBR,Pig-Bac2 SYBR,Pig-1-Bac TaqMan,and Pig-2-Bac TaqMan,which are based on Bacteroidales 16S rRNA gene markers)and apply them in two rivers of North China.We collected a total of 173 fecal samples from pigs,cows,goats,chickens,humans,and horses across China.The PF assay optimized in this study showed outstanding qualitative performance and achieved 100%specificity and sensitivity.However,the two SYBR green qPCR assays(Pig-Bac1 SYBR and Pig-Bac2 SYBR)cross-reacted with most non-pig fecal samples.In contrast,both the Pig-l-Bac TaqMan and Pig-2-Bacr TaqMan assays gave 100%specificity and sensitivity.Of these,the Pig-2-Bac TaqMan assay showed higher reproducibility.Our results regarding the specificity of these pig-specific MST assays differ from those reported in Thailand,Japan,and America.Using the PF and Pig-2-Bac TaqMan assays,a field test comparing the levels of pig fecal pollution in rivers near a pig farm before and after comprehensive environmental pollution governance indicated that pig fecal pollution was effectively controlled at this location.

The low quality and yield of methane severely hinder the industrial application of straw biogas fermentation, and no effective solution has been found so far. In this study, a novel method was developed when a microbial electrolysis cell(MEC) was coupled with normal anaerobic fermentation to enhance methane yield and purity. The fermentation process achieved a methane purity of more than 85%, which is considerably higher than that of previously published reports. With microbial stimulation and an electric current, the degradation of fibers has been greatly enhanced. The MEC system substantially improved the yield and purity of biogas, bringing a new path to the synthesis of methane by carbon dioxide and hydrogen ions in solution under electron irradiation. Electrochemical index analysis showed extra methane synthesis, due to the external circuit electron transfer. The results of the gas chromatography and solid degradation rate showed that the carbon source of extra methane was CO_(2) produced during normal fermentation and additional volatile solid degradation. These results show that the MEC considerably enhanced the quality and yield of methane in the straw fermentation process, providing insights into normal anaerobic fermentation.

Enhanced recovery after surgery in laparoscopic major liver resection: A propensity score matching analysis

Objective:Even though enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)has been applied to liver resection worldwide,there is a lack of evidence covering its feasibility in laparoscopic major hepatectomy.This study aimed to preliminarily evaluate the superiority of ERAS in major liver resection.Methods:The data were collected from patients who underwent laparoscopic major hepatectomy from July 2014 to November 2020 in Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital,Zhejiang University School of Medicine.The baseline characteristics,pathological features,surgical outcomes,medical costs,and postoperative pain scores were compared before and after propensity score matching(PSM).The patients were divided into the ERAS group and the routine group based on the treatment protocols.Results:Eighty-one patients who underwent laparoscopic major hepatectomy were retrospectively enrolled in the study.Before PSM,there were differences in pathology(p¼0.037)and surgical extent(p¼0.011)between the ERAS group(n¼42)and routine group(n¼39).After PSM,26 patients from each group were matched.For surgical outcomes,patients in the ERAS group had a significantly lower postoperative complication incidence than patients in the routine group(28.6%vs.53.8%,RR:0.531[0.303,0.929],p¼0.021)before PSM.However,after PSM,superiority was not observed in the ERAS group(30.8%vs.53.8%,RR:0.571[0.290,1.13],p¼0.092).The duration of abdominal tube retention(before PSM:5.0 d vs.10.0 d,p<0.001;after PSM:6.0 d vs.9.0 d,p¼0.001),the duration of urinary tube retention(before PSM:1.0 d vs.2.0 d,p<0.001;after PSM:1.0 d vs.2.0 d,p¼0.002),and hospital stay(before PSM:6.0 d vs.11.0 d,p<0.001;after PSM:7.0 d vs.11.5 d,p<0.001)was significantly shorter in the ERAS group than in the routine group.A significant benefit on postoperative day 3(2 vs.3,p¼0.038)was observed with respect to the alleviation of pain after PSM.Conclusions:Our preliminary study revealed the superiority of ERAS in the setting of major liver resection,although further investigations in a large number of patients from multiple inst

备案审查结果的溯及力问题是整个备案审查制度的收官之笔,关系到法秩序稳定和公民权利保护等重大法律价值,亟需填补立法空白。需要澄清的是,溯及力的主体是被撤销、修改或废止的规范性文件,溯及力的具体对象分为确定的司法裁判(刑事、行政和民事裁判)、确定的行政行为(受益和负担行政行为)、原因案件、不确定的司法裁判、规范性文件、不确定的行政行为、民事行为,溯及的后果包括撤销、再审、不予执行、返还给付和国家赔偿。在判断是否溯及时,世界各国在法的一致性、法的安定性和个案正义间进行利益衡量,从而形成了多样化的溯及力制度。我国应充分考虑法治的长远目标与阶段性目标的辩证关系,构建一种渐进式的备案审查溯及力模式。

不断提升备案审查质量、预防和纠正备案审查出错是备案审查制度持续健康发展的重要保障。鉴于备案审查柔性处理阶段事实上的最终性、多头审查引发的结论冲突以及柔性处理结论引发的社会争议,在该阶段设置救济程序,更能发挥纠错实效。在救济程序的具体设置上,赋予制定机关或审查提起人申请救济权,救济期限于审查意见送达之日起算,救济复核由原备案审查机构另行组成审查组负责,但救济决定需经委员长会议或主任会议“把关”通过。在备案审查程序中嵌入救济“暂停鍵”,是平衡公正与效率后作出的有益尝试,但备案审查仍需在加强制度建设方面从根本上保证备案审查质量。

备案审查制度的快速发展,促使我们从反向视角观察审查结论存疑甚至出错的可能性,进而构建预防和纠错制度以保证备案审查质量。鉴于预防机制改良的过程性、长期性及其内部性,在宪制框架下增设纠错程序,集中优势资源处理存疑个案,有利于提升制度效能、监督刚性和审查质量,充分贯彻法制统一的宪法目标,因此实行事前预防与事后纠错的双轨模式更符合中国实际。在目前地方立法实践的基础上,应有效解决个别监督与全面监督、柔性监督与刚性监督、内部监督与外部监督的矛盾症结,充分考虑审查建议人、审查要求人、审查移送人、制定机关的利益需求,分别在启动、审查、柔性处理和刚性处理等四个阶段构建不同类型的纠错机制,并合理设计提起主体、提起条件、纠错机关、纠错对象及其他具体的纠错程序,实现公正与效率的统一。

The wettability of the membrane surface has shown obvious influent on the separation performance of the membrane.In this work,a hydrophilic PDA-[PDDA/TiO2]+Cl-membrane was prepared by a one-step codeposition of poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride)(PDDA)polyelectrolyte solution containing positively charged TiO2@PDDA nanoparticles with the assistance of dopamine(DA).Such positively charged membrane can be transformed into a hydrophobic membrane PDA-[PDDA/TiO2]+PFO-via the counterion exchange between Cl-and PFO-(perfluorooctanoate).The transformation between hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity is reversible.For both hydrophilic and hydrophobic membranes,the nanofiltration performances were respectively investigated by the aqueous solution and ethanol solution of dyes including methyl blue(MB),Congo red(CR)and Evans blue(EB),and as well metal salt aqueous solution.The consecutive running stability and anti-fouling performance of both hydrophilic and hydrophobic membranes were explored.The results revealed that both membranes showed high nanofiltration performances for retention of dyes in(non)aqueous solution.For the hydrophilic membrane,the rejection of salts in a sequence is MgSO4>Na2SO4>MgCl2>NaCl.Moreover,both of the hydrophilic and hydrophobic membranes showed high stability and antifouling property.

The precise and accurate knowledge of genetic parameters is a prerequisite for making efficient selection strategies in breeding programs.A number of estimators of heritability about important economic traits in many marine mollusks are available in the literature,however very few research have evaluated about the accuracy of genetic parameters estimated with different family structures.Thus,in the present study,the effect of parent sample size for estimating the precision of genetic parameters of four growth traits in clam M.meretrix by factorial designs were analyzed through restricted maximum likelihood（REML） and Bayesian.The results showed that the average estimated heritabilities of growth traits obtained from REML were 0.23-0.32 for 9 and 16 full-sib families and 0.19-0.22 for 25 full-sib families.When using Bayesian inference,the average estimated heritabilities were0.11-0.12 for 9 and 16 full-sib families and 0.13-0.16 for 25 full-sib families.Compared with REML,Bayesian got lower heritabilities,but still remained at a medium level.When the number of parents increased from 6 to 10,the estimated heritabilities were more closed to 0.20 in REML and 0.12 in Bayesian inference.Genetic correlations among traits were positive and high and had no significant difference between different sizes of designs.The accuracies of estimated breeding values from the 9 and 16 families were less precise than those from 25 families.Our results provide a basic genetic evaluation for growth traits and should be useful for the design and operation of a practical selective breeding program in the clam M.meretrix.
