Bismuth nanorods confined in hollow carbon structures for high performance sodium-and potassium-ion batteries

Bismuth has drawn widespread attention as a prospective alloying-type anode for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)due to its large volumetric ***,such material encounters drastic particle pulverization and overgrowth of solid-electrolyte interphase(SEI)upon repeated(de)alloying,thus causing poor rate and cycling ***,we report a unique structure design with bismuth nanorods confined in hollow N,S-codoped carbon nanotubes(Bi@NS-C)fabricated by a solvothermal method and in-situ thermal ***-situ SEM observations confirm that such a design can significantly suppress the size fining of Bi nanorods,thus inhibiting the particle pulverization and repeated SEI growth upon charging/*** as achieved Bi@NS-C demonstrates outstanding rate capability for SIBs(96.5%capacity retention at 30 A g^(-1) vs.1 A g^(-1)),and a record high rate performance for PIBs(399.5 m Ah g^(-1)@20 A g^(-1)).Notably,the as constructed full cell(Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)@C|Bi@NS-C)demonstrates impressive performance with a high energy density of 219.8 W h kg^(-1) and a high-power density of 6443.3 W kg^(-1)(based on the total mass of active materials on both electrodes),outperforming the state-of-the-art literature.

The electrochemical performance of hard carbon(HC)materials is closely related to the electrolyte used in the sodium ion batteries(SIBs).Conventional electrolytes carbonate(EC)demonstrates low initial Columbic efficiency(ICE)and poor rate performance,which is one of the main bottlenecks that limits the practical application of *** electrolyte(diglyme)was reported to improve the rate performance of ***,the underlying mechanism for the excellent rate capability is still lack of in-depth *** this work,the differences of sodium-ion diffusion between ether and carbonate-base electrolytes in HCs are analyzed layer by ***,when sodium-ions are diffused in electrolyte,the diffusion coefficient of sodium-ion in ether electrolyte is about 2.5 times higher than that in ester electrolytes by molecular dynamics(MD)simulation and experimental ***,when the solvated sodium-ions are diffused into the solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)interface and the HCs material,the enhanced charge transfer kinetics(thin SEI layer(4.6 vs.12 nm)and low RSEI(1.5 vs.24Ω))at the SEI combined with low desolvation energy(0.248 eV)are responsible for high-rate performance and good cycling stability of HC in ether ***,high diffusion coefficient,low desolvation energy,and good interface are the intrinsic reasons for enhanced rate performance in ether electrolyte,which also has guiding significance for the design of other high-rate electrolytes.

Secure platooning control plays an important role in enhancing the cooperative driving safety of automated vehicles subject to various security *** paper focuses on the distributed secure control issue of automated vehicles affected by replay attacks.A proportional-integral-observer(PIO)with predetermined forgetting parameters is first constructed to acquire the dynamical information of ***,a time-varying parameter and two positive scalars are employed to describe the temporal behavior of replay *** light of such a scheme and the common properties of Laplace matrices,the closed-loop system with PIO-based controllers is transformed into a switched and time-delayed ***,some sufficient conditions are derived to achieve the desired platooning performance by the view of the Lyapunov stability *** controller gains are analytically determined by resorting to the solution of certain matrix inequalities only dependent on maximum and minimum eigenvalues of communication ***,a simulation example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

The virtual private cloud service currently lacks a real-time end-to-end consistency validation mechanism, which prevents tenants from receiving immediate feedback on their requests. Existing solutions consume excessive communication and computational resources in such large-scale cloud environments, and suffer from poor timeliness. To address these issues, we propose a lightweight consistency validation mechanism that includes real-time incremental validation and periodic full-scale validation. The former leverages message layer aggregation to enable tenants to swiftly determine the success of their requests on hosts with minimal communication overhead. The latter utilizes lightweight validation checksums to compare the expected and actual states of hosts locally, while efficiently managing the checksums of various host entries using inverted indexing. This approach enables us to efficiently validate the complete local configurations within the limited memory of hosts. In summary, our proposed mechanism achieves closed-loop implementation for new requests and ensures their long-term effectiveness.

The ocean is one of the essential fields of national defense in the future,and more and more attention is paid to the lightweight research of Marine equipment and *** study it is to develop a Machine learning(ML)-based prediction method to study the evolution of the mechanical properties of Al-Li alloys in the marine *** obtained the mechanical properties of Al-Li alloy samples under uniaxial tensile deformation at different exposure times through Marine exposure *** obtained the strain evolution by digital image correlation(DIC).The strain field images are voxelized using 2D-Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)autoencoders as input data for long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)neural ***,the output data of LSTM neural networks combined with corrosion features were input into the Back Propagation(BP)neural network to predict the mechanical properties of Al-Li *** main conclusions are as follows:*** variation law of mechanical properties of2297-T8 in the Marine atmosphere is *** the increase in outdoor exposure test time,the tensile elastic model of 2297-T8 changes slowly,within 10%,and the tensile yield stress changes significantly,with a maximum attenuation of 23.6%.*** prediction model can predict the strain evolution and mechanical response simultaneously with an error of less than 5%.*** study shows that a CNN/LSTM system based on machine learning can be built to capture the corrosion characteristics of Marine exposure *** results show that the relationship between corrosion characteristics and mechanical response can be predicted without considering the microstructure evolution of metal materials.

High areal capacity is one of the critically important points for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)for practical applications,which relies on high areal-massloading electrodes operating at high reversible ***,it is remarkably restricted by the mechanical instability and sluggish charge transfer induced by the increased mass *** overcome such challenge,we report the rationally designed bimetallic selenides CoSe2/SnSe2 heterostructures confined in hierarchical carbon nanofibers(CSSe@CNFs),which enables the electrodes robust mechanical stability,enhanced electron transport,and reduced ion-diffusion energy barrier for facilitating reaction ***,an impressive areal mass loading up to 25.3 mg cm^(−2)was achieved,which endowed a high areal capacity of 7.58 mAh cm^(−2)for such a free-standing *** is stateof-the-art among the PIBs,exceeding that of today’s industry standard(∼3 mAh cm^(−2)for LIBs).Furthermore,it delivered long-term stability over 3700 cycles at high current density(∼2 mA cm^(−2),vs 1 mA cm^(−2)in LIBs).Moreover,the as-constructed full battery achieved a high energy density of 172.8 Wh kg-1 at 0.05 A g^(−1)with a satisfied cycle stability over 2000 cycles at 2 A g^(−1)and high reversibility with Coulombic efficiency of 100%;thus,signifying its bright future toward commercial application for advanced PIBs.

背景:3D打印是牙科领域的一项新兴技术。它使用一种分层制造技术来创建可用于牙周组织工程应用的支架。通过3D打印的组织支架能够创建具有可控的特性,如内部结构、孔隙度和互联性,这使得它成为一种非常理想的牙周组织工程策略。目的:综述3D打印支架在牙周再生过程中的应用进展。方法:以“3D printing,periodontal tissue engineering,additive manufacturing,regenerative medicine,bioengineering,scaffold,bioprinting,periodontitis;3D打印,增材制造,牙周组织工程,支架,生物墨水,生物打印,组织工程学”为检索词,运用计算机检索PubMed、CNKI数据库中2000-2023年发表的相关文献。结果与结论:随着过去几十年3D打印技术的突飞猛进,它在组织工程和生物医学领域中都取得了巨大的突破和进展。3D打印技术能够提供高度个性化的治疗方案,提高治疗支架的适配性与治疗效果,在牙周组织工程中具有广阔的应用前景。在牙周组织工程领域中,3D打印的应用可以更好地模拟生物组织复杂的结构,并且能够制造出具有合适力学、流变学等特性的生物支架材料。3D打印技术通过组织工程支架的逐层构建不仅可以为牙周疾病治疗创建精确而复杂的支架模型,并且能在支架中创建复杂的微结构和通道,以促进细胞生长和组织再生。
