We report a feasible method to realize tun able surface plasm on-polarit on(SPP)res onance in orga nic light-emitt ing devices(OLEDs)by emplo ying corrugated Ag-Al alloy *** excited SPP res onance in duced by the periodic corrugations can be precisely tuned based on the composition ratios of the Ag-Al alloy *** an appropriate composition ratio of the corrugated alloy electrode,the photons trapped in SPP modes are recovered and extracted *** 25%in creaseme nt in luminance and 21%enhan ceme nt in curre nt efficie ncy have bee n achieved by using the corrugated Ag-Al alloy electrodes in OLEDs.

Seawater electrolysis,especially in coastlines,is widely considered as a sustainable way of making clean and high-purity H2 from renewable energy;however,the practical viability is challenged severely by the limited anode durability resulting from side reactions of chlorine ***,we report an effective Cl−blocking barrier of NiFe-layer double hydroxide(NiFe-LDH)to harmful chlorine chemistry during alkaline seawater oxidation(ASO),a pre-formed surface-derived NiFe-phosphate(Pi)***,the PO_(4)^(3−)-enriched outer-layer is capable of physically and electrostatically inhibiting Cl−adsorption,which protects active Ni^(3+)sites during *** NiFe-LDH with the NiFe-Pi outer-layer(NiFe-LDH@NiFe-Pi)exhibits higher current densities(j)and lower overpotentials to afford 1 A·cm^(−2)(η1000 of 370 mV versusη1000 of 420 mV)than the NiFe-LDH in 1 M KOH+***,the NiFe-LDH@NiFe-Pi also demonstrates longer-term electrochemical durability than NiFe-LDH,attaining 100-h duration at the j of 1 A·cm^(−2).Additionally,the importance of surface-derived PO_(4)^(3−)-enriched outer-layer in protecting the active centers,γ-NiOOH,is explained by ex situ characterizations and in situ electrochemical spectroscopic studies.

Hierarchical heterostructures have emerged as promising candidates for the efficient photocatalytic degradation of antibiotics owing to their matched energy levels and tunable absorption ***,we report the facile synthesis of a heterojunction photocatalyst composed of basic bismuth nitrate(BiON)and BiOCl_(0.9)I_(0.1) using a simple room-temperature hydrolysis *** results demonstrate that the BiON/BiOCl_(0.9)I_(0.1) composite exhibits superior photodegradation performance compared to pure-phase materials owing to the catalytic enhancement at the heterointerface and the effective separation of the photogenerated ***,the unique three-dimensional microsphere morphology of the synthesized composite enhances its specific surface area and light absorption,further enhancing its photocatalytic *** the tetracycline(TC)photodegradation reaction as a model reaction,the catalyst could degrade 88%of TC in just 25 ***,this work provides a promising strategy for the facile and low-cost synthesis of heterogeneous photocatalytic degradation materials.
