Microstructural improvement of Al-Cu-Li alloys with high Li content plays a critical role for the acquisition of excellent mechanical properties and ultra-low *** this regard,the Al-Cu-Li alloy castings with high Li content from 1.5 wt.%to 4.5 wt.%were prepared by near-rapid solidification,followed by two-stage homogenization treatment(490℃/16 h and 530℃/16 h).The microstructural evolution and solidification behavior of the as-cast and homogenized alloys with different Li contents were systematically studied by combining experiments with calculations by Pandat *** results indicate that with the increase of Li content,the grain sizes decrease,the solution ability of Cu in the matrixα-Al phase increases,while the content of secondary dendrites increases and the precipitated phases change from low melting point phases to high melting point phases under the near-rapid ***,by the coupling of near-rapid solidification and two-stage homogenization,the metastable precipitated phases(Al7Cu4Li and AlCu3)can be dissolved effectively in the alloys with Li content of 1.5 wt.%-2.5 wt.%;moreover,the stable precipitated phases(Al6CuLi3 and Al2CuLi)uniformly distribute at the grain boundaries in the alloys with Li content of 3.5 wt.%-4.5 wt.%.As a result,the refined and homogenized microstructure can be obtained.

Although nano-immunotherapy has advanced dramatically in recent times,there remain two significant hurdles related to immune systems in cancer treatment,such as(namely)inevitable immune elimination of nanoplat-forms and severely immunosuppressive microenvironment with low immunogenicity,hampering the perfor-mance of *** address these issues,several immune-regulating camouflaged nanocomposites have emerged as prevailing strategies due to their unique characteristics and specific *** this review,we emphasize the composition,performances,and mechanisms of various immune-regulating camouflaged nano-platforms,including polymer-coated,cell membrane-camouflaged,and exosome-based nanoplatforms to evade the immune clearance of nanoplatforms or upregulate the immune function against the ***,we discuss the applications of these immune-regulating camouflaged nanoplatforms in directly boosting cancer immunotherapy and some immunogenic cell death-inducing immunotherapeutic modalities,such as chemo-therapy,photothermal therapy,and reactive oxygen species-mediated immunotherapies,highlighting the cur-rent progress and recent ***,we conclude the article with interesting perspectives,suggesting future tendencies of these innovative camouflaged constructs towards their translation pipeline.

The effect of growth rates (V=2-50 μm·s-1) on microstructure and microhardness of directionally solidified Ti-44Al-5Nb-1.5Cr-1.5Zr-1Mo-0.1B (at.%) alloy at a constant temperature gradient (G=18 K·mm-1) was investigated. Results indicated that β phase was the primary phase of the directionally solidified Ti-44Al-5Nb-1.5Cr-1.5Zr-1Mo-0.1B alloy. As the growth rate increases, the solid/liquid interface turns from cellular growth to dendric growth. The interlamellar spacing (λs) decreases with the increase of growth rate according to the relationship of λs=3.39V -0.31. The solidification segregation occurs due to the enrichment of β-stabilizing element Nb, Cr in primary β phase during solidification;moreover, the degree of the segregation increases with the growth rate, resulting in the emergence of B2 phase in lamellar colonies at high growth rates. The microhardness (Hv) grows with the growth rate based on the equation of HV=328.69V 0.072, which mainly attributes to the microstructure refinement.

BACKGROUND Food insecurity(FI)during pregnancy negatively impacts maternal health and raises the risk of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)and pregnancy-induced hypertension(PIH),resulting in adverse outcomes for both mother and *** To investigate the relationships between FI and pregnancy outcomes,particularly GDM and PIH,while also examining the mediating role of the dietary diversity score(DDS).METHODS A cross-sectional study was undertaken to examine this relationship,involving 600 pregnant *** were women aged 18 years or older who provided complete data on FI and pregnancy *** FI was measured via the Household Food Security Survey Module,with GDM defined as fasting plasma glucose levels of≥5.1 mmol/L or a 2-hour oral glucose tolerance test value of≥8.5 mmol/*** DDS is determined by evaluating one's food consumption based on nine distinct food groups.A logistic regression model was used to explore the relationship between FI and PIH,and *** Seventeen percent of participants reported experiencing FI during *** study found a significant association between FI and an elevated risk of GDM[odds ratio(OR)=3.32,95%CI:1.2-5.4].Once more,food-insecure pregnant women had higher rates of PIH(OR=0.10,95%CI:0.02-0.45)and they also faced a higher likelihood of neonatal complications,such as neonatal intensive care unit’s admissions and the birth of infants with extremely low birth *** FI wasfurther linked to metabolic disruptions,such as elevated fasting blood sugar(FBS),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,and triglyceride *** results indicate that the DDS acts as a significant mediator in the relationship between FI and the incidence of *** particular,the mediation analysis showed that approximately 65%of the effect was mediated through DDS(P=0.002).CONCLUSION These findings underscore the serious challenges that FI presents during pregnancy and its effects on maternal and infant ***,the study

Deep rock is under a complex geological environment with high geo-stress, high pore pressure, and strong dynamic disturbance. Understanding the dynamic response of rocks under coupled hydraulic-mechanical loading is thus essential in evaluating the stability and safety of subterranean engineering structures. Nevertheless, the constraints in experimental techniques have led to limited prior investigations into the dynamic compression behavior of rocks subjected to simultaneous high in-situ stress and pore pressure conditions. This study utilizes a triaxial split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) system in conjunction with a pore pressure loading cell to conduct dynamic experiments on rocks subjected to hydraulic-mechanical loading. A porous green sandstone (GS) was adopted as the testing rock material. The findings reveal that the dynamic behavior of rock specimens is significantly influenced by multiple factors, including the loading rate, confining stress, and pore pressure. Specifically, the dynamic compressive strength of GS exhibits an increase with higher loading rates and greater confining pressures, while it decreases with elevated pore pressure. Moreover, the classical Ashby-Sammis micromechanical model was augmented to account for dynamic loading and pore pressure considerations. By deducing the connection between crack length and damage evolution, the resulting law of crack expansion rate is related to the strain rate. In addition, the influence of hydraulic factors on the stress intensity factor at the crack tip is introduced. Thereby, a dynamic constitutive model for deep rocks under coupled hydraulic-mechanical loading was established and then validated against the experimental results. Subsequently, the characteristics of introduced parameter for quantifying the water-induced effects were carefully discussed.

The stability of matrix graphite under neutron irradiation and in corrosive environments is crucial for the safe operation of molten salt reactors(MSRs).Raman spectroscopy and a slow positron beam were employed to investigate the effects of He ion irradiation fluences and subsequent annealing on the microstructure and defects of the matrix *** ions with 500 keV energy and fluences ranging from 1.1×10^(15)ions∕cm^(2)to 3.5×10^(17)ions∕cm^(2)were used to simulate neutron irradiation at 300 *** samples with an irradiation fluence of 3.5×10^(16)ions∕cm^(2)were subjected to isochronal annealing at different temperatures(573 K,873 K and 1173 K)for 3 *** Raman results revealed that the D peak gradually increased,whereas the intrinsic G peak decreased with increasing irradiation *** the same irradiation fluence,the D peak gradually decreased,whereas the intrinsic G peak increased with increasing annealing *** positron beam analysis demonstrated that the density or size of irradiation defects(vacancy type)increased with higher irradiation fluence,but decreased rapidly with increasing annealing *** Raman spectral analysis of sample cross sections subjected to high irradiation fluences revealed the emergence of amorphization precisely at the depth where ion damage was most pronounced,whereas the surface retained its crystalline *** and positron annihilation analyses indicated that the matrix graphite exhibited good irradiation resistance to He ions at 300 ***,vacancy-type defects induced by He ion irradiation exhibit poor thermal stability and can be easily removed during annealing.

ZL205 A alloys with large thin-walled shape were continuously processed by coupling travelling magnetic fields(TMF)with sequential solidification,to eliminate the shrinkage defects and optimize the mechanical *** experiments and simulations,the parameter optimization of TMF and the influence on feeding behavior,microstructure and properties were systematically *** results indicate that the magnetic force maximizes at the excitation current of 20 A and frequency of 200 Hz under the experimental conditions of this study,and increases from center to side-walls,which is more convenient to process thin-walled *** can break secondary dendritic arm and dendrites overlaps,widen feeding channels,prolong the feeding time,optimize the feeding paths,eliminate shrinkage defects and improve ***,for as-cast state,TMF with excitation current of 20 A increases ultimate tensile strength,elongation and micro-hardness from 186 MPa,7.3%and 82.1 kg/mm^(2) to 221 MPa,11.7%and 100.5 kg/mm^(2),decreases porosity from 1.71%to 0.22%,and alters brittle fracture to ductile fracture.

Evapotranspiration and its components partitioning based on an improved hydrological model: historical attributions and future projections

Estimation and attribution of evapotranspiration （ET） and its components under changing environment is still a challenge but is essential for understanding the mechanisms of water and energy transfer subsequently regional water resources management. In this study， an improved hydrological model is developed to estimate evapotranspiration and its components i.e.， evaporation （E） and transpiration （T） by integrated the advantages of hydrological modeling constrained by water balance and the water-carbon close relationships. Results show that the improved hydrological model could captures ET and its components well in the study region. During the past years， annual ET and E increase obviously about 2.40mm/a and 1.42mm/a， particularly in spring and summer accounting for 90%. T shows less increasement and mainly increases in spring while it decreases in summer. Precipitation is the dominant factor and contributes 74.1% and 90.0% increases of annual ET and E， while the attribution of T changes is more complex by coupling of the positive effects of precipitation， rising temperature and interactive influences， the negative effects of solar diming and elevated CO2. In the future， ET and its components tend to increase under most of the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways （SSP） scenarios except for T decreases under the very high emissions scenario （SSP5-8.5） based on the projections. From seasonal perspective， the changes of ET and the components are mainly in spring and summer accounting for 75%， while more slightly changes are found in autumn and winter. This study highlights the effectiveness of estimating ET and its components by improving hydrological model within water-carbon coupling relationships， and more complex mechanisms of transpiration changes than evapotranspiration and evaporation changes under the interactive effects of climate variability and vegetation dynamics.
