A method for automatically establishing a mathematical model of kinematic analysis to a planar mechanism with multiple joint and prismatic pair is presented. The breadth （ or depth ） first search spanning tree can be obtained based on an adjacency matrix of the mechanism. Then the kinematic chain （or mechanism）＇s basic loops can be obtained. On the basis of these basic loops, a mathematical model of kinematic analysis can be established and solved automatically. In the sense of a calculative mechanism, structural analysis of the kinematic chain relates to the kinematic analysis of a mechanism. Thus, an effective way is supplied to the given mechanism＇s kinematic analysis for automatic modeling and solving, and a method is supplied to the structural type to optimize kinematic synthesis.

To the editor: Neovascular glaucoma (NVG) is refractory glaucoma characterized by neovascularization of iris or anterior chamber angle, which often leads to dramatic elevation of intraocular pressure (IOP) and severe vision loss.[1] Series of studies have been reported regarding managing NVG with anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapy or in combination with anti-glaucoma surgery.[2,3,4] However, the effect of anti-VEGF seems only temporary and it does not improve the prognosis in the long term.[5] Therefore, pan retinal photocoagulation (PRP) remains necessary for improving long term prognosis.[5] However, it is not easy to complete PRP early in NVG patients due to corneal edema, hyphema, or vitreous hemorrhage. We conducted this prospective interventional case series study to propose a protocol which could confine NVG in an early stage. The aims of our treatment modalities included that controlling IOP immediately, complete PRP as soon as possible, anti-VEGF as adjuvant and controlling residual glaucoma with gradual cyclophotocoagulation.

High-density markers are necessary for map-based cloning of rice genes, but the currently available markers are not satisfactory enough. InDel (insertion-deletion length polymorphism) and SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) are the new generation of molecular markers and can basically meet the need of fine mapping. InDel and SNP markers can be developed through bioinformatics. These markers are valuable markers with the characters of low cost, high specificity and stability. This article introduced the methods for designing InDel and SNP markers, taking the mapping of a rice rolled leaf gene as an example. In addition, some key factors in improving the design efficiency were also discussed.

The expandable graphite(EG)modified TiO_(2) nanocomposites were prepared by the high shearmethod using the TiO_(2) nanoparticles(NPs)and EG as precursors,in which the amount of EG doped in TiO_(2) was 10 wt.%.Followed by the impregnation method,adjusting the pH of the solution to 10,and using the electrostatic adsorption to achieve spatial confinement,the Pt elementswere mainly distributed on the exposed TiO_(2),thus generating the Pt/10EG-TiO_(2)-10 *** best CO oxidation activity with the excellent resistance to H_(2)O and SO_(2) was obtained over the Pt/10EG-TiO_(2)-10 catalyst:CO conversion after 36 hr of the reaction was ca.85%under the harsh condition of 10 vol.%H_(2)O and 100 ppm SO_(2) at a high gaseous hourly space velocity(GHSV)of 400,000 hr−*** properties of the catalystswere characterized by various *** results showed that the electrostatic adsorption,which riveted the Pt elements mainly on the exposed TiO_(2) of the support surface,reduced the dispersion of Pt NPs on EG and achieved the effective dispersion of Pt NPs,hence significantly improving CO oxidation activity over the Pt/10EG-TiO_(2)-10 *** 10 wt.%EG doped in TiO_(2) caused the TiO_(2) support to form a more hydrophobic surface,which reduced the adsorption of H_(2)O and SO_(2) on the catalyst,greatly inhibited deposition of the TiOSO4 and formation of the PtSO4 species as well as suppressed the oxidation of SO_(2),thus resulting in an improvement in the resistance to H_(2)O and SO_(2) of the Pt/10EG-TiO_(2)-10 catalyst.

Layered rare-earth metal oxides,harnessing the dual properties of oxides and two-dimensional layered materials,exhibit remarkable thermal stability and quantum confinement ***,this work adopts the first-principles calculation combined with the Boltzmann transport theory to predict the thermoelectric properties of NdZnSbO *** coexistence of weak interlayer van der Waals interactions,robust intralayer ionic bonding,and partial covalent bonding leads to remarkable bonding heterogeneity,which engenders pronounced phonon scattering and imposes constraints on thermal transport along the out-of-plane *** weakened chemical bonds induced by the antibonding states,together with the rattling-like behavior of the Zn atom,culminate in the profound anharmonicity in the layered NdZnSbO *** weakening bond and heavy element contribute to the softness of phonon modes,which significantly diminishes the phonon group *** redistribution-dominated four-phonon scattering process spans a large optical gap,which effectively reduces the lattice thermal *** NdZnSbO compound exhibits direct semiconductor characteristic with a bandgap of 0.73 e V by adopting the Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof(HSE06)functional in combination with spin–orbit coupling(SOC)*** multi-valley feature of NdZnSbO compound augur favorably for band degeneracy,thus amplifying the power ***,an optimal figure-of-merit(ZT)of 3.40 at 900 K is achieved for the n-type NdZnSbO *** present study delves deeply insights into the origins for the low thermal conductivity of NdZnSbO compound and proposes an optimization scheme to enhance overall thermoelectric performance.
