Plasma-activated electron beam-physical vapor deposition（EB-PVD）was used for depositing nitride multilayer coatings in this *** from the conventional coating methods,the multilayers were obtained by manipulating electron beam（EB）to jump between two different evaporation sources alternately with variable frequencies（jumping beam technology）.The plasma activation was generated by a hollow cathode plasma *** deposition process was demonstrated by means of tailoring TiN/TiAlN multilayers with different modulation periods（M1：26.5 nm,M2：80.0 nm,M3：6.0 nm,M4：4.0 nm）.The microstructure and hardness of the multilayer coatings were comparatively studied with TiN and TiAlN singlelayer *** columnar structure of the coatings（TiN,TiAlN,M1,M2）is replaced by a glassy-like microstructure when the modulation period decreases to less than 10 nm（M3,M4）.Simultaneously,superlattice growth *** the decrease of modulation period,both the hardness and the plastic deformation resistance（H^3/E^2,H-hardness and E-elastic modulus）increase.M4coating exhibits the maximum hardness of（49.6±2.7）GPa and the maximum plastic deformation resistance of^0.74 GPa.

A high-accuracy flatness prediction model is the basis for realizing flatness *** flatness is typically reflected as the strain distribution,which is a ***,it is difficult to obtain ideal results if the real flatness is directly used as the output value of the flatness intelligent prediction ***,it is necessary to seek an abstract representation method of real *** this reason,two new intelligent flatness representation models were proposed based on the autoencoder of unsupervised learning theory:the flatness autoencoder representation(FAR)model and the flatness stacked sparse autoencoder representation(FSSAR)*** with the traditional Legendre fourth-order polynomial representation model,the representation accuracies of the FAR and FSSAR models are significantly improved,better representing the flatness defects,like the double tight *** optimal number of bottleneck layer neurons in the FAR and FSSAR models is 5,which means that five basic patterns can accurately represent real *** with the FAR model,the FSSAR model has higher representation accuracy,although the flatness basic pattern is more abstract,and the physical meaning is not clear ***,the accuracy of the FAR model is slightly lower than that of the FSSAR ***,it can automatically learn the flatness basic pattern with a very clear physical meaning for both the theoretical and real flatness,which is an optimal intelligent representation method for flatness.

Real flatness images are the bases for flatness detection based on machine vision of cold rolled *** characteristics of a real flatness image are analyzed,and a lightweight strip location detection(SLD)model with deep semantic segmentation networks is *** interference areas in the real flatness image can be eliminated by the SLD model,and valid information can be *** this basis,the concept of image flatness is proposed for the first *** image flatness representation(IFAR)model is established on the basis of an autoencoder with a new *** optimal structure of the bottleneck layer is 16×16×4,and the IFAR model exhibits a good representation ***,interpretability analysis of the representation factors is carried out,and the difference and physical meaning of the representation factors for image flatness with different categories are *** flatness with new defect morphologies(bilateral quarter waves and large middle waves)that are not present in the original dataset are generated by modifying the representation factors of the no wave ***,the SLD and IFAR models are used to detect and represent all the real flatness images on the test *** average processing time for a single image is 11.42 ms,which is suitable for industrial *** research results provide effective methods and ideas for intelligent flatness detection technology based on machine vision.

Synthetic hydrogels with attractive mechanical strength and self-healing are particular appealing,in light of their significance and prospects in industrial,engineering and biomimetic *** various mechanically robust and self-healable hydrogels have achieved some successes in using strong covalently bonded organic polymers as building ***,creation of such soft materials entirely building on rigid inorganic components remains greatly challenging,because inorganic materials are usually poorly flexible and *** this study,mechanical robustness and self-recovery are successfully integrated into a single-component colloidal hydrogel system of aluminium hydroxide nanosheets(AHNSs).The inorganic colloidal hydrogel gains an excellent elasticity and stiffness,as indicated by its elastic modulus>10 MPa,due to the use of tough AHNS gelator and the formation of long-range ordered lamellar architectures consisting of self-assembled side-to-side or interlaced-stacking NS *** metastability in internal gel network endows the hydrogel a self-healing efficiency of larger than 100%.The AHNS hydrogel has been demonstrated to be effectively lubricative and *** mechanical,tribological and anticorrosion properties can be optimized by tuning its internal NS configuration and salt *** study may be a potent replenishment to the scope of materials science and may provide new insights into nanotechnology,colloidal chemistry,green tribology and mechanical engineering.

The key in antioxidant capacity of aero-engine hot components is the protective oxide *** factors can affect the performance of oxide *** effect of tensile stress on high-temperature oxidation behavior of directionally solidified DZ125 Ni-based superalloy was investigated by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).Tensile samples were subjected to stress of 100 MPa,and the oxidation behavior was studied at 980℃in *** surface and cross-sectional morphologies of the oxidized coating were analyzed by scanning electron microscope(SEM).The influence of tensile stress on the oxidation behavior of directionally solidified DZ125 Ni-based superalloy at high temperature was *** show that an applied tensile stress generally leads to larger Cr/Ni mass ratio in the oxide scales,greater overall chromium depletion values directly under the oxide scales,lower specific weight gain values and thinner oxide *** factors are attributed to the formation of fast diffusion paths for Cr atoms to diffuse to the surface under tensile stress,thus causing a reduction in the duration of the less protective transient oxidation period and promoting a faster formation of the protective Cr_(2)O_(3)layer.

The organotypic retinal explant culture has been established for more than a decade and offers a range of unique advantages compared with in vivo experiments and cell ***,the lack of systematic and continuous comparison between in vivo retinal development and the organotypic retinal explant culture makes this model controversial in postnatal retinal development ***,we aimed to verify the feasibility of using this model for postnatal retinal development studies by comparing it with the in vivo *** this study,we showed that postnatal retinal explants undergo normal development,and exhibit a consistent structure and timeline with retinas in ***,we used SOX2 and PAX6 immunostaining to identify retinal progenitor *** then examined cell proliferation and migration by immunostaining with Ki-67 and doublecortin,***-67-and doublecortin-positive cells decreased in both in vivo and explants during postnatal retinogenesis,and exhibited a high degree of similarity in abundance and distribution between ***,we used Ceh-10 homeodomain-containing homolog,glutamate-ammonia ligase(glutamine synthetase),neuronal nuclei,and ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1 immunostaining to examine the emergence of bipolar cells,Müller glia,mature neurons,and microglia,*** timing and spatial patterns of the emergence of these cell types were remarkably consistent between in vivo and explant *** study showed that the organotypic retinal explant culture model had a high degree of consistency with the progression of in vivo early postnatal retina *** findings confirm the accuracy and credibility of this model and support its use for long-term,systematic,and continuous observation.

With the wide application of virtualization technology in cloud data centers, how to effectively place virtual machine （VM） is becoming a major issue for cloud providers. The existing virtual machine placement （VMP） solutions are mainly to optimize server resources. However, they pay little consideration on network resources optimization, and they do not concern the impact of the network topology and the current network traffic. A multi-resource constraints VMP scheme is proposed. Firstly, the authors attempt to reduce the total communication traffic in the data center network, which is abstracted as a quadratic assignment problem; and then aim at optimizing network maximum link utilization （MLU）. On the condition of slight variation of the total traffic, minimizing MLU can balance network traffic distribution and reduce network congestion hotspots, a classic combinatorial optimization problem as well as NP-hard problem. Ant colony optimization and 2-opt local search are combined to solve the problem. Simulation shows that MLU is decreased by 20%, and the number of hot links is decreased by 37%.

Potential high-temperature risks exist in heat-prone components of electric moped charging devices, such as sockets,interfaces, and controllers. Traditional detection methods have limitations in terms of real-time performance and monitoring scope. To address this, a temperature detection method based on infrared image processing has been proposed:utilizing the median filtering algorithm to denoise the original infrared image, then applying an image segmentation algorithm to divide the image.
