This study is trying to address the critical need for efficient routing in Mobile Ad hoc Networks(MANETs)from dynamic topologies that pose great challenges because of the mobility of *** objective was to delve into and refine the application of the Dijkstra’s algorithm in this context,a method conventionally esteemed for its efficiency in static ***,this paper has carried out a comparative theoretical analysis with the Bellman-Ford algorithm,considering adaptation to the dynamic network conditions that are typical for *** paper has shown through detailed algorithmic analysis that Dijkstra’s algorithm,when adapted for dynamic updates,yields a very workable solution to the problem of real-time routing in *** results indicate that with these changes,Dijkstra’s algorithm performs much better computationally and 30%better in routing optimization than Bellman-Ford when working with configurations of sparse *** theoretical framework adapted,with the adaptation of the Dijkstra’s algorithm for dynamically changing network topologies,is novel in this work and quite different from any traditional *** adaptation should offer more efficient routing and less computational overhead,most apt in the limited resource environment of ***,from these findings,one may derive a conclusion that the proposed version of Dijkstra’s algorithm is the best and most feasible choice of the routing protocol for MANETs given all pertinent key performance and resource consumption indicators and further that the proposed method offers a marked improvement over traditional *** paper,therefore,operationalizes the theoretical model into practical scenarios and also further research with empirical simulations to understand more about its operational effectiveness.

This paper contributes a sophisticated statistical method for the assessment of performance in routing protocols salient Mobile Ad hoc Network(MANET)routing protocols:Destination Sequenced Distance Vector(DSDV),Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector(AODV),Dynamic Source Routing(DSR),and Zone Routing Protocol(ZRP).In this paper,the evaluation will be carried out using complete sets of statistical tests such as Kruskal-Wallis,Mann-Whitney,and *** articulates a systematic evaluation of how the performance of the previous protocols varies with the number of nodes and the mobility *** study is premised upon the Quality of Service(QoS)metrics of throughput,packet delivery ratio,and end-to-end delay to gain an adequate understanding of the operational efficiency of each protocol under different network *** findings explained significant differences in the performance of different routing protocols;as a result,decisions for the selection and optimization of routing protocols can be taken effectively according to different network *** paper is a step forward in the general understanding of the routing dynamics of MANETs and contributes significantly to the strategic deployment of robust and efficient network infrastructures.

In this study,nanocrystalline celluloses were used to enhance physical,mechanical and water vapor barrier properties of chitosan films for potential food packaging *** different mineral acids(sulfuric and phosphoric)were used to extract nanocrystalline cellulose from date palm sheath *** influence of cellulose I and cellulose II on the properties of the isolated nanocrystalline celluloses(e.g.,yield,energy and length of intra-and intermolecular hydrogen bonds,and degree of substitution)were studied *** characteristics of chitosan biocomposite film with phosphorylated nanocrystalline cellulose were compared to those with sulfated nanocrystalline *** showed that besides cellulose polymorphism,the ionic ester groups on the surface of nanocrystalline cellulose is one of the factors influencing the physical,chemical,mechanical,and water vapor barrier properties in chitosan/nanocrystalline cellulose biocomposites.

Potassium titanate nanostructures were synthesised by hydrothermal treatment of TiO2 （P25） in KOH and H2O2. As-produced powders were characterised by scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and nitrogen adsorption-desorption methods. Longitudinally-oriented-wire-like structures with a length up to several micrometres and diameters ranging from 10 to 30 nm were obtained. Larger size fibrous nanowires resulting from the hydrotherrnal treatment showed high affinity in adsorbing crystal violet （CV）, which was mainly due to their high surface area. The photocatalytic bleaching of CV solution revealed that the wires are photoactive under ultraviolet light irradiation. Macroporous nanowires are considered as effective adsorbents of CV, capable of photocatalvtic degradation, and they can be easily separated from the solution by settling.

Aim: To determine the frequency of genetic deletions within the azoospermia factors in Egyptian infertile males. Methods: The Yq microdeletions in 33 infertile males with undetectable chromosomal anomalies were examined by mutiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Deletions were confirmed using single PCR amplifications. Results: Four out of the total 33 (12 %) men had Yq11 microdeletions, thus supporting the average reported figures in other populations. Three of those 4 cases had single short tandem sequence deletions with discrete histological findings of their testes. Single sY272 deletion within AZFc was associated with Sertoli cell only syndrome, whereas a patient with isolated sY84 deletion within AZFa had immature testicular structure. The remaining case had a large deletion in AZFa-c and short stature. Conclusion: The present study supports the hypothesis that the Yqn encompasses genetic determinants of stature besides genes controlling spermatogenesis.

A Retrospective Study of Clinicoepidemiological Aspects of Nasopharyngeal Cancer at NCI-Cairo (2000-2010)

Aim of Work: The aim of this work was to study the clinico-epidemiological characteristics of the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), analyse the prognostic factors of the disease and to analyse the results of different treatment modalities and their effect on loco-regional, distal metastatic disease control and both overall survival (OS) and disease free survival (DFS) rates. Patients and Methods: This is a retrospective study reviewing all adult nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients who presented to the radiotherapy department—National Cancer Institute Cairo University in the period from (2000-2010). Results: In this study, it was found that the mean age was 45 years;most of the patients were of locally advanced stages. Multivariate cox proportional hazards regression identified T-stage, radiotherapy course completion & addition of chemotherapy as independent prognostic factors for local control (LC), DFS, & OS. The 5-year LC, DFS and OS rates for all studied patients were 38.2%, 33.5% & 37.2% respectively. The median DFS was 26 months and median OS was 36.5 months. Conclusion: This study matches the published data that support that radical concurrent chemoradiation is the mainstay of treatment of locally advanced NPC, & that T-stage, M-stage, prescribed dose completion, response to initial treatment are independent prognostic factors for survival. All measures should be taken to improve the local response during primary treatment as this will improve survival rates of patients with NPC.

A series of Eu3＋ and Dy3＋ doped/co-doped as well as un-doped BaB2Si2Os phosphors were synthesized via solid state reaction method. The PL result showed typical blue and green emission from Dy3＋ and red emission from Eu3＋. The f-f transitions in- volving the lanthanide ions along with dopant site occupancy were discussed thoroughly. Phonon assisted energy transfer process was observed from Eu3＋ to Dy3＋, which enhanced the emissions of Dy3＋. Combinations of the emissions from Eu3＋ and Dy3＋ showed a possible white to red tuneable emission on the CIE diagram. The white warmth emissions of the phosphor were revealed to be ad- justable through designing the dopant concentration and excitation wavelengths. An unusual energy transfer that originated from Eu3＋ to Dy3＋ was also discovered and the energy transfer mechanism was discussed. Proposed energy transfer mechanism was investigated using luminescence decay lifetime. All the phosphor exhibited efficient excitation in the UV range which matched well with the emissions from GaN-based LED chips. This presented the BaB2Si208 phosphor as a promising candidate for white LED applications. The effects of doping on the structural properties and the optical band gap of BaB2Si208 phosphor were also discussed in this study.

People started posting textual tweets on Twitter as soon as the novel coronavirus(COVID-19)*** these tweets can assist institutions in better decision-making and prioritizing their ***,this study aimed to analyze 43 million tweets collected between March 22 and March 30,2020 and describe the trend of public attention given to the topics related to the COVID-19 epidemic using evolutionary clustering *** results indicated that unigram terms were trended more frequently than bigram and trigram terms.A large number of tweets about the COVID-19 were disseminated and received widespread public attention during the *** high-frequency words such as“death”,“test”,“spread”,and“lockdown”suggest that people fear of being infected,and those who got infection are afraid of *** results also showed that people agreed to stay at home due to the fear of the spread,and they were calling for social distancing since they become aware of the *** can be suggested that social media posts may affect human psychology and *** results may help governments and health organizations to better understand the psychology of the public,and thereby,better communicate with them to prevent and manage the panic.

This paper reports two cases of long QT syndrome(LQTS) which presented with seizures as their initial feature. Case 1, AB was seen in emergency department with post-partum seizure, discharged and re-presentedfollowing cardiac arrest associated with LQTS. Case 2, CD presented initially with tonic-clonic seizure and because of experience with AB, CD was assessed for LQTS which was subsequently confirmed. The legal medicine experience re Dobler v Halverson, which involved a young boy with LQTS, who suffered cardiac arrest without prior diagnosis of LQTS, has reinforced the requirement to seriously consider LQTS as an aetiological factor in first seizure presentations.
