Bac.ground:Exc.ssive heat exposure c.n lead to hyperthermia in humans,whic. impairs physic.l performanc. and disrupts c.gnitive *** heat is a k.own physiologic.l stressor,it is unc.ear how severe heat stress affec.s brain physiology and ***:Eleven healthy partic.pants were subjec.ed to heat stress from prolonged exerc.se or warm water immersion until their rec.al temperatures(T_(re))attained 39.5℃,induc.ng exertional or passive hyperthermia,*** a separate trial,blended ic. was ingested before and during exerc.se as a c.oling *** were c.mpared to a c.ntrol c.ndition with seated rest(normothermic..Brain temperature(T_(br)),c.rebral perfusion,and task.based brain ac.ivity were assessed using magnetic.resonanc. imaging ***:T_(br)in motor c.rtex was found to be tightly regulated at rest(37.3℃±0.4℃(mean±SD))despite fluc.uations in T_(re).With the development of hyperthermia,T_(br)inc.eases and dovetails with the rising T_(re).Bilateral motor c.rtic.l ac.ivity was suppressed during high-intensity plantarflexion task.,implying a reduc.d c.ntral motor drive in hyperthermic.partic.pants(T_(re)=38.5℃±0.1℃).Global gray matter perfusion and regional perfusion in sensorimotor c.rtex were reduc.d with passive *** func.ion was poorer under a passive hyperthermic.state,and this c.uld relate to c.mpromised visual proc.ssing as indic.ted by the reduc.d ac.ivation of left lateral-oc.ipital ***,ingestion of blended ic. before and during exerc.se alleviated the rise in both T_(re)and T_(bc.and mitigated heat-related neural ***:Severe heat exposure elevates T_(br),disrupts motor c.rtic.l ac.ivity and exec.tive func.ion,and this c.n lead to impairment of physic.l and c.gnitive performanc..

Mg alloys possess an inherent plastic.anisotropy owing to the selec.ive ac.ivation of deformation mec.anisms depending on the loading *** c.arac.eristic.results in a diverse range of flow c.rves that vary with a deformation *** study proposes a novel approac. for ac.urately predic.ing an anisotropic.deformation behavior of wrought Mg alloys using mac.ine learning(ML)with data *** developed model c.mbines four k.y strategies from data sc.enc.:learning the entire flow c.rves,generative adversarial network.(GAN),algorithm-driven hyperparameter tuning,and gated rec.rrent unit(GRU)*** proposed model,namely GAN-aided GRU,was extensively evaluated for various predic.ive sc.narios,suc. as interpolation,extrapolation,and a limited dataset *** model exhibited signific.nt predic.ability and improved generalizability for estimating the anisotropic.c.mpressive behavior of Zk.0 Mg alloys under 11 annealing c.nditions and for three loading *** GAN-aided GRU results were superior to those of previous ML models and c.nstitutive *** superior performanc. was attributed to hyperparameter optimization,GAN-based data augmentation,and the inherent predic.ivity of the GRU for *** a first attempt to employ ML tec.niques other than artific.al neural network.,this study proposes a novel perspec.ive on predic.ing the anisotropic.deformation behaviors of wrought Mg alloys.

BAc.GROUND:This study aimed to evaluate the disc.iminatory performanc. of 11 vital sign-based early warning sc.res(EWSs)and three shoc. indic.s in early sepsis predic.ion in the emergenc. department(ED).METhoDS:We performed a retrospec.ive study on c.nsec.tive adult patients with an infec.ion over 3 months in a public.ED in hong *** primary outc.me was sepsis(Sepsis-3 definition)within 48 h of ED *** c.statistic. and the DeLong test,we c.mpared 11 EWSs,inc.uding the National Early Warning Sc.re 2(NEWS2),Modified Early Warning Sc.re,and Worthing Physiologic.l Sc.ring System(WPS),etc.,and three shoc. indic.s(the shoc. index[SI],modified shoc. index[MSI],and diastolic.shoc. index[DSI]),with Systemic.Inflammatory Response Syndrome(SIRS)and quic. Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(qSOFA)in predic.ing the primary outc.me,intensive c.re unit admission,and mortality at different time ***:We analyzed 601 patients,of whom 166(27.6%)developed ***2 had the highest point estimate(area under the rec.iver operating c.arac.eristic.c.rve[AUROc.0.75,95%c. 0.70-0.79)and was signific.ntly better than SIRS,qSOFA,other EWSs and shoc. indic.s,exc.pt WPS,at predic.ing the primary ***,the pooled sensitivity and spec.fic.ty of NEWS2≥5 for the predic.ion of sepsis were 0.45(95%c. 0.37-0.52)and 0.88(95%c. 0.85-0.91),*** disc.iminatory performanc. of all EWSs and shoc. indic.s dec.ined when used to predic. mortality at a more remote time ***:NEWS2 c.mpared favorably with other EWSs and shoc. indic.s in early sepsis predic.ion but its low sensitivity at the usual c.t-off point requires further modific.tion for sepsis sc.eening.

The polymeric.gel elec.rolytes are attrac.ive owing to their higher ionic.c.nduc.ivities than those of dry polymer elec.rolytes and lowered water ac.ivity for enlarged potential ***,the ionic.c.nduc.ivity and mec.anic.l strength of the Na-ion c.nduc.ing polymeric.gel elec.rolytes are limited by below 20 mS c.−1 and 2.2 ***,we demonstrate Na-ion c.nduc.ing and flexible polymeric.hydrogel elec.rolytes of the c.emic.lly c.upled poly(diallyldimethylammonium c.loride)-dextrin-N,N′-methylene-bisac.ylamide film immersed in Nac.O_(4) solution(ex-DDA-Dex+Nac.O_(4))for flexible sodium-ion hybrid c.pac.tors(f-NIHc..In partic.lar,the anion exc.ange reac.ion and synergistic.interac.ion of ex-DDA-Dex with the optimum c.O_(4)−enable to greatly improve the ionic.c.nduc.ivity up to 27.63 mS c.−1 at 25◦c.and elec.roc.emic.l stability window up to 2.6 V,whereas the double network.ng struc.ure leads to ac.ieve both the mec.anic.l strength(7.48 MPa)and softness of hydrogel ***,the f-NIHc. with the ex-DDA-Dex+Nac.O_(4) ac.ieved high spec.fic.and high-rate c.pac.ties of 192.04 F g^(−1)at 500 mA g^(−1)and 116.06 F g^(−1)at 10000 mA g^(−1),respec.ively,delivering a large energy density of 120.03Wh k.^(−1)at 906Wk.^(−1)and long c.c.ability of 70%over 500 c.c.es as well as demonstrating func.ional operation under mec.anic.l stresses.

Aqueous-phase reforming(APR)is an attrac.ive proc.ss to produc. bio-based hydrogen from waste biomass streams,during whic. the c.talyst stability is often c.allenged due to the harsh reac.ion *** this work.three Pt-based c.talysts supported on c.AlO(OH),and ZrO_(2)were investigated for the APR of hydroxyac.tone solution in afixed bed reac.or at 225℃and 35 *** them,the Pt/c.c.talyst showed the highest turnover frequenc. for H_(2)produc.ion(TOF of 8.9 molH_(2)molPt^(-1)min^(-1))and the longest c.talyst *** the AlO(OH)and ZrO_(2)supported Pt c.talysts,the side reac.ions c.nsuming H_(2),formation of c.k.,and Pt sintering result in a low H_(2)produc.ion and the fast c.talyst *** proposed reac.ion pathways suggest that a promising APR c.talyst should reform all oxygenates in the aqueous phase,minimize the hydrogenation of the oxygenates,maximize the WGS reac.ion,and inhibit the c.ndensation and c.k.ng reac.ions for maximizing the hydrogen yield and a stable c.talytic.performanc..

PrBa_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)c._(1.5)Fe_(0.5)O_(5+δ)(PrBSc.) has attrac.ed muc. researc. interest as a potential triple ionic.and elec.ronic.c.nduc.or(TIEc. elec.rode for protonic.c.ramic.fuel c.lls(Pc.c.). The c.emic.l formula for Pr BSc. is AA'B_(2)O_(5+δ), with Pr(A-site) and Ba/Sr(A'-site) alternately stac.ed along the c.axis. Due to these struc.ural features, the bulk.oxygen ion diffusivity is signific.ntly enhanc.d through the disorder-free c.annels in the PrO layer;thus, the A site c.tions(lanthanide ions) play a pivotal role in determining the overall elec.roc.emic.l properties of layered perovsk.tes. c.nsequently, previous researc. has predominantly foc.sed on the elec.ric.l properties and oxygen bulk.surfac. k.netic. of Ln c.tion effec.s,whereas the hydration properties for Pc.c.systems remain unidentified. Here, we thoroughly examined the proton uptak. behavior and thermodynamic.parameters for the hydration reac.ion to c.nc.usively determine the c.anges in the elec.roc.emic.l performanc.s depending on LnBa_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)c._(1.5)Fe_(0.5)O_(5+δ)(LnBSc.,Ln=Pr, Nd, and Gd) c.thodes. At 500 ℃, the quantitative proton c.nc.ntration of PrBSc. was 2.04 mol% and progressively dec.eased as the Ln c.tion size dec.eased. Similarly, the Gibbs free energy indic.ted that less energy was required for the formation of protonic.defec.s in the order of Pr BSc. c. c.. To eluc.date the c.ose relationship between hydration properties and elec.roc.emic.l performanc.s in LnBSc. c.thodes, Pc.c.single c.ll measurements and analysis of the distribution of relaxation time were further investigated.

This paper is an offspring of the previous study on Herz spac.s. A new c.arac.erization of Morrey–Herz spac.s is given. As applic.tions, the boundedness of various operators is obtained. For example, higher-order c.mmutators generated by singular integral operators and BMO func.ions are proved to be bounded on Morrey–Herz spac.s. The theory of Morrey–Herz–Hardy spac.s is also developed.
