The final analysis of the phase 3 Targeted Investigational Treatment Analysis of Novel Anti-androgen(TITAN)trial showed improvement in overall survival(OS)and other efficacy endpoints with apalutamide plus androgen deprivation therapy(ADT)versus ADT alone in patients with metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer(mCSPC).As ethnicity and regional differences may affect treatment outcomes in advanced prostate cancer,a post hoc final analysis was conducted to assess the efficacy and safety of apalutamide in the Asian ***-driven endpoints were OS,and time from randomization to initiation of castration resistance,prostate-specific antigen(PSA)progression,and second progression-free survival(PFS2)on first subsequent therapy or *** endpoints were assessed using the Kaplan–Meier method and Cox proportional-hazards models without formal statistical testing and adjustment for *** Asian patients received once-daily apalutamide 240 mg(n=111)or placebo(n=110)plus *** a median follow-up of 42.5 months and despite crossover of 47 placebo recipients to open-label apalutamide,apalutamide reduced the risk of death by 32%(hazard ratio[HR]:0.68;95%confidence interval[CI]:0.42–1.13),risk of castration resistance by 69%(HR:0.31;95%CI:0.21–0.46),PSA progression by 79%(HR:0.21;95%CI:0.13–0.35)and PFS2 by 24%(HR:0.76;95%CI:0.44–1.29)relative to *** outcomes were comparable between subgroups with low-and high-volume disease at *** new safety issues were *** provides valuable clinical benefits to Asian patients with mCSPC,with an efficacy and safety profile consistent with that in the overall patient population.

Sevaral books about Chinese spider systematics and biology have been published,mostly since the later 1970s and the majority of then are designed as classification guides to the spider fauna of a particular area of China,or focused on a particular group ,for example Fauna of Zhejiang Province ,Araneida and Salticids of China. The newly published book 'The Spiders of China',in English,differs from all others by including all 2361 described Chinese spider species and by reviewing literature of over 200 years of work on Chinese spider classification.

辣椒素酯类物质是辣椒果实中低辣味的辣椒素类似物。其生物活性与辣椒素类物质相似,有抑制脂肪积累和抗氧化等特性。由于辣椒素酯类物质的辣味低,与辣椒素相比更易于制作食品添加剂。但是辣椒素酯类物质有水不稳定和热不稳定性,其含量随果实的成熟而逐渐降低。所以,含有辣椒素酯的果实适合在成熟之前鲜食。以前的遗传研究表明p-AMT和Pun1两个基因控制辣椒素酯的合成,这两个基因分别表示为A、B。基因型为aa BB和aa Bb的植株果实中含辣椒素酯,辣味较低。本研究在杂交育种中利用p-AMT和Pun1基因的DNA标记选育了一个含有辣椒素酯类物质的辣椒新品种。Murasaki(AAbb)和CH-19 Sweet(aa BB)杂交后代的基因型都用DNA标记进行了鉴定。p-AMT基因型利用d CAPS标记鉴定,Pun1基因型用SCAR标记鉴定。分析杂交后代的基因型,筛选出基因型aa BB或者aa Bb的植株并培育出了一个新品种Maru Salad。Maru Salad果实的辣椒素酯含量为700μg/g DW。同时Maru Salad的果实比CH-19 Sweet大,而且适合鲜食。

Diabetes mellitus significantly increases the risk of cardiovascular disease and heart failure in *** of hypertension and coronary artery disease,diabetes is associated with a specific cardiomyopathy,known as diabetic cardiomyopathy(DCM).Four decades of research in experimental animal models and advances in clinical imaging techniques suggest that DCM is a progressive disease,beginning early after the onset of type 1 and type 2 diabetes,ahead of left ventricular remodeling and overt diastolic *** the molecular pathogenesis of early DCM still remains largely unclear,activation of protein kinase C appears to be central in driving the oxidative stress dependent and independent pathways in the development of contractile *** subcellular alterations to the cardiomyocyte are now being highlighted as critical events in the early changes to the rate of force development,relaxation and stability under pathophysiological *** changes include perturbed calcium handling,suppressed activity of aerobic energy producing enzymes,altered transcriptional and posttranslational modification of membrane and sarcomeric cytoskeletal proteins,reduced actin-myosin cross-bridge cycling and dynamics,and changed myofilament calcium *** this review,we will present and discuss novel aspects of the molecular pathogenesis of early DCM,with a special focus on the sarcomeric contractile apparatus.

着重阐述了燃油中硫含量与排放颗粒物直径和浓度的关系。通过在船用燃油(MDO)中混入二硫化物((CH3 )3CS-)2(DBDS)调整燃油中的硫含量,对柴油发动机排气进行测量和分析,对可溶性有机物质SOF(Sol-uble Organic Fraction)的浓度,非可溶性物质DS(Dray Soot)的浓度以及排放颗粒物PM的质量浓度以及颗粒物直径的分布进行了分析研究。试验结果表明:随着硫含量的增加,PM直径变小,但是质量浓度增加;SOF质量浓度和DS质量浓度增加,因此PM的质量浓度也增加;发动机的着火迟延期变短,最高燃烧压力降低,同时CO排放浓度增加,N O排放浓度降低。

AIM: To evaluate the prognostic factors of long-term survival of more than 3 years in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC). METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed the records of 474 patients with advanced ⅢB/Ⅳ NSCLC who received chemotherapy as initial treatment between September 2002 and March ***: The median survival time(MST) was 12.5 mo and the 3 year and 5 year survival rates were 14.6% and 5.3%, respectively. Long-term survival of more than 3 and 5 years was observed in 65 and 16 patients, respectively. The MST for the 65 patients was61.5 mo(range, 60.1-81.0 mo). In the 474 patients, a good performance status(PS), female sex, non-smoking status and adenocarcinoma histology were significantly associated with a favorable outcome. Furthermore, female sex, a good PS, non-smoking status and adenocarcinoma histology were significantly correlated with longterm survival of more than 3 years and most of these patients(89.2%, 58/65) received epidermal growth factor receptor-tyrosine kinase inhibitors as any line treatment. Survival analysis of long-term survivors showed that a PS of 0 was an independent prognostic factor for predicting favorable outcomes. CONCLUSION: Our results suggest that a good PS and adenocarcinoma histology play an important role in long-term survival of more than 3 years. A PS of 0 was an independent prognostic factor for predicting favorable outcomes in patients with advanced NSCLC who survived for more than 3 years.
