An optimal sizing method is proposed in this paper for mobile battery energy storage system(MBESS)in the distribution system with *** optimization is formulated as a bi-objective problem,considering the reliability improvement and energy transaction saving,*** evaluate the reliability of distribution system with MBESS and intermittent generation sources,a new framework is proposed,which is based on zone partition and identification of circuit minimal tie *** analytic and simulation methods for reliability assessment are presented and compared in the *** studies on a modified IEEE benchmark system have verified the performance of the proposed approach.

The interaction between plants and pathogens represents a dynamic competition between a robust immune system and efficient infectious strategies. Plant innate immunity is composed of complex and highly regulated molecular networks, which can be triggered by the perception of either conserved or race-specific pathogenic molecular signatures. Small RNAs are emerging as versatile regulators of plant development, growth and response to biotic and abiotic stresses. They act in different tiers of plant immunity, including the pathogen-associated molecular pattern-triggered and the effector-triggered immunity. On the other hand, pathogens have evolved effector molecules to suppress or hijack the host small RNA pathways. This leads to an arms race between plants and pathogens at the level of small RNA-mediated defense. Here, we review recent advances in small RNA-mediated defense responses and discuss the challenging questions in this area.

Despite limited successes in clinical develop- ment, therapeutic cancer vaccines have experienced resurgence in recent years due to an enhanced emphasis upon co-mitigating factors underlying immune response. Specifically, reversing the immune-suppressive effects of the tumor microenvironment, mediated by a variety of cellular and molecular signaling mechanisms, has become fundamental toward enhancing therapeutic efficacy. Therein, our lab has implemented various nano-vaccines based on the lipid-coated calcium phosphate platform for combined immunotherapy, in which antigenic, epitope- associated peptides as well as immune-suppression inhibitors can be co-delivered, often functioning through the same formulation. In probing the mechanism of action of such systems in vitro and in vivo, an improved effect synergy can be elucidated, inspiring future preclinical efforts and hope for clinical success.

Parasitic infections constitute a major global public health *** screening methods that are based on manual microscopic examination often struggle to provide sufficient volumetric throughput and sensitivity to facilitate early ***,we demonstrate a motility-based label-free computational imaging platform to rapidly detect motile parasites in optically dense bodily fluids by utilizing the locomotion of the parasites as a specific biomarker and endogenous contrast *** on this principle,a cost-effective and mobile instrument,which rapidly screens~3.2 mL of fluid sample in three dimensions,was built to automatically detect and count motile microorganisms using their holographic time-lapse speckle *** demonstrate the capabilities of our platform by detecting trypanosomes,which are motile protozoan parasites,with various species that cause deadly diseases affecting millions of people *** a holographic speckle analysis algorithm combined with deep learningbased classification,we demonstrate sensitive and label-free detection of trypanosomes within spiked whole blood and artificial cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)samples,achieving a limit of detection of ten trypanosomes per mL of whole blood(~five-fold better than the current state-of-the-art parasitological method)and three trypanosomes per mL of *** further demonstrate that this platform can be applied to detect other motile parasites by imaging Trichomonas vaginalis,the causative agent of trichomoniasis,which affects 275 million people *** its costeffective,portable design and rapid screening time,this unique platform has the potential to be applied for sensitive and timely diagnosis of neglected tropical diseases caused by motile parasites and other parasitic infections in resource-limited regions.

Phase field crystal （PFC） model is employed to simulate the process of growth of epitaxial layer on plane-convex substrate with a lattice mismatch and a small inclination angle. The variation of the systematic free energy, the total atomic number of the epitaxial layer, and the effect of the curvature and the angle of the substrate are analyzed. The results show that when the surface of the substrate is plane, the free energy increases with the increase of the substrate inclination angle, and also the total atomic number of the epitaxial layer increases; while the surface of the substrate is convex, the free energy decreases with the increase of substrate angle and so also the total atomic number of the epitaxial layer decrease. This is the reason that the frontier of surface of epitaxial layer changes from the step bunching to the hill-and-valley facet structure with the increasing of the inclination angle of convex substrate. These results are in good agreement with the other method results.

背景:血紫蛋白分子稳定性及生物相容性优于人和哺乳动物血红蛋白,经过修饰可能成为更加安全长效的红细胞代用品。目的:制备多重修饰血紫蛋白纳米微粒,进行理化性质表征及体外性能测试。方法:以切向流超滤法分离纯化方格星虫血紫蛋白,使用京尼平完成分子内交联,然后利用多巴胺完成纳米粒子封装,再用聚乙二醇完成钝化,获得多重修饰血紫蛋白纳米粒,表征该纳米粒的理化性质。将不同质量浓度(0,0.25,0.5,1.0,2.0 mg/mL)的血紫蛋白纳米粒、血紫蛋白、血红蛋白氧载体HBOC-201分别与巨噬细胞共同孵育6,24 h,与血管内皮细胞共同孵育24 h,采用CCK-8法检测细胞存活率,ELISA法检测血管内皮细胞培养液中一氧化氮及血管细胞黏附因子1水平。结果与结论:(1)血紫蛋白纳米粒电镜下呈现椭球形,有致密外膜,内部质地较为均匀,粒径为(150.12±1.67) nm,分散指数为0.21±0.03,Zeta电位为(-24.54±2.61) mV,半饱和氧分压为(0.97±0.15) kPa,hill系数为1.49±0.16。(2)孵育6 h,在≤1.0 mg/mL质量浓度范围内,血紫蛋白纳米粒组、血紫蛋白组、HBOC-201组巨噬细胞存活率均在85%以上;在2.0 mg/mL质量浓度下,仅血紫蛋白纳米粒组巨噬细胞存活率在80%以上。孵育24 h,3组巨噬细胞存活率均低于80%,其中血紫蛋白纳米粒组巨噬细胞存活率高于血紫蛋白组、HBOC-201组(P <0.05)。(3)随着药物质量浓度的增加,3组血管内皮细胞存活率降低,在1.0 mg/mL或2.0 mg/mL质量浓度下,血紫蛋白纳米粒组细胞存活率高于血紫蛋白组、HBOC-201组(P <0.05);在相同质量浓度下,血紫蛋白纳米粒组一氧化氮水平高于血紫蛋白组、HBOC-201组(P <0.05);在0.25-2.0 mg/mL质量浓度范围内,血紫蛋白纳米粒组血管细胞黏附因子1水平低于血紫蛋白组、HBOC-201组(P <0.05)。(4)结果表明,经过分子内交联和聚多巴胺/聚乙二醇修饰的血紫蛋白纳米粒在体外具有良好的携氧活性,抗吞噬性能更优,细胞毒性更小。
