Exact solution for thermal vibration of multi-directional functionally graded porous plates submerged in fluid medium

An analytical method for analyzing the thermal vibration of multi-directional functionally graded porous rectangular plates in fluid media with novel porosity patterns is developed in this *** properties of MFG porous plates change according to the length,width,and thickness directions for various materials and the porosity distribution which can be widely applied in many fields of engineering and defence ***,new porous rules that depend on spatial coordinates and grading indexes are proposed in the present *** Hamilton's principle and the refined higher-order shear deformation plate theory,the governing equation of motion of an MFG porous rectangular plate in a fluid medium(the fluid-plate system)is *** fluid velocity potential is derived from the boundary conditions of the fluid-plate system and is used to compute the extra *** GalerkinVlasov solution is used to solve and give natural frequencies of MFG porous plates with various boundary conditions in a fluid *** validity and reliability of the suggested method are confirmed by comparing numerical results of the present work with those from available works in the *** effects of different parameters on the thermal vibration response of MFG porous rectangular plates are studied in *** findings demonstrate that the behavior of the structure within a liquid medium differs significantly from that within a vacuum ***,they offer appropriate operational approaches for the structure when employed in various mediums.

the phenomenon of sloshing causes a significantly negative impact on a wide range of industries.A time‐optimal flatness‐based trajectory planning and Lyapunov‐based model predictive control(LMPC)is proposed for trajectory tracking of a transmitting cylindrical container filled with ***,this research presents an equivalent discrete model based on a mass‐spring‐damper ***,after the flatness of the adopted non‐linear model for 2D is established,time‐optimal trajectories are introduced.A control method called LMPC is shown to solve the problem of orbital tracking,which allows setting limits for state *** addition,to ensure system performance,a linear extended state observer(LESO)is integrated to cope with system ***,the efficiency of the proposed approach for liquid sloshing suppression and tracking is illustrated by simulations.

In this work,a novel refined higher-order shear deformation plate theory is integrated with nonlocal elasticity theory for analyzing the free vibration,bending,and transient behaviors of fluid-infiltrated porous metal foam piezoelectric nanoplates resting on Pasternak elastic foundation with flexoelectric *** analysis(IGA)and the Navier solution are applied to the *** innovation in the present study is that the influence of the in-plane variation of the nonlocal parameter on the free and forced vibration of the piezoelectric nanoplates is investigated for the first *** nonlocal parameter and material characteristics are assumed to be material-dependent and vary gradually over the thickness of *** on Hamilton’s principle,equations of motion are built,then the IGA approach combined with the Navier solution is used to analyze the static and dynamic response of the ***,we investigate the effects of the porosity coefficients,flexoelectric parameters,elastic stiffness,thickness,and variation of the nonlocal parameters on the mechanical behaviors of the rectangular and elliptical piezoelectric nanoplates.

Land use type affects the physicochemical properties of *** value of OM and tN is high in acacia *** acidity of soil is considered a serious constraint for *** cash crops are acacia,cassava,banana,rice and *** fertility is affected by land-use types and land management,which exacerbates soil erosion and various other forms of soil degradation in the mountainous regions of *** study was conducted in A Luoi District,thua thien Hue,Vietnam to identify the effects of land-use types on specific soil physicochemical characteristics related to soil *** physicochemical properties,such as organic matter(OM),total nitrogen(tN),total phosphorous(tP),and K+were significantly affected by land-use *** results showed that the soils were sandy in rice but clay loam for acacia and *** mean bulk density value of acacia soil was significantly greater than that of other *** were higher in the acacia soils than those in the rice,maize,and banana *** OM content was significantly higher in the acacia,cassava,and banana soils than those in the rice and maize *** mean of exchangeable K+in the rice soil was higher compared to those in other soils and was affected by land-use *** high exchangeable acidity content in the soils was probably due to intensive ***,both land use type and management did not affect the CEC ***,the inappropriate land use caused the disturbance of soil physicochemical properties,indicating that the conditions of rice and maize soils are becoming worse than acacia ***,lowering the intensity of cultivation,adopting incorporated soil fertility management,and applying organic fertilizer should preserve the existing conditions and enhance soil properties.

Construction of a High‑Performance Composite Solid Electrolyte through In‑Situ Polymerization within a Self‑Supported Porous Garnet Framework

Composite solid electrolytes(CSEs)have emerged as promising candidates for safe and high-energy–density solid-state lithium metal batteries(SSLMBs).However,concurrently achieving exceptional ionic conductivity and interface compatibility between the electrolyte and electrode presents a significant challenge in the development of high-performance CSEs for *** overcome these challenges,we present a method involving the in-situ polymerization of a monomer within a self-supported porous Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZt)to produce the *** synergy of the continuous conductive LLZt network,well-organized polymer,and their interface can enhance the ionic conductivity of the CSE at room ***,the in-situ polymerization process can also con-struct the integration and compatibility of the solid electrolyte–solid electrode *** synthesized CSE exhibited a high ionic conductivity of 1.117 mS cm^(-1),a significant lithium transference number of 0.627,and exhibited electrochemical stability up to 5.06 V ***/Li+at 30℃.Moreover,the Li|CSE|LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2) cell delivered a discharge capacity of 105.1 mAh g^(-1) after 400 cycles at 0.5 C and 30℃,corresponding to a capacity retention of 61%.this methodology could be extended to a variety of ceramic,polymer electrolytes,or battery systems,thereby offering a viable strategy to improve the electrochemical properties of CSEs for high-energy–density SSLMBs.

Dry eye rate and its relationship with disease stage in patients with primary hypertension:a cross-sectional study in Vietnam

AIM:to determine the dry eye(DE)rate and its relationship with disease stage in patients with primary ***:A cross-sectional study included 432 patients with primary hypertension(with an equal number of patients in each group:144 in stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲ hypertension)and 144 healthy subjects as a control *** Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI)and Schirmer Ⅰ test without anesthetics were conducted on all 576 *** with OSDI scoresto or under 10 mm were diagnosed with ***:the ratio of DE in hypertension patients was higher than in the control group(41.7%versus 18.8%;Pthe proportion of patients with DE increased gradually according to the hypertension stage:27.1% in stage Ⅰ,40.3% in stage Ⅱ,and 57.6% in stage Ⅲ,Ption of hypertension,plasma urea,creatinine,and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(CRP-hs)levels in hypertension patients with DE were higher than those without DE,Ption of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,elevated plasma creatinine,and CRP-hs levels were independent factors associated with DE in primary hypertension patients,Pted with advanced age,a long duration of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,elevated plasma CRP-hs,and creatinine levels in patients with primary hypertension.

Investigation of crack segmentation and fast evaluation of crack propagation, based on deep learning

Identifying crack and predicting crack propagation are critical processes for the risk assessment of engineering *** traditional approaches to crack modeling are faced with issues of high computational costs and excessive computing *** address this issue,we explore the potential of deep learning(DL)to increase the efficiency of crack detection and forecasting crack ***,there is no single algorithm that can fit all data sets well or can apply in all cases since specific tasks *** the paper,we present DL models for identifying cracks,especially on concrete surface images,and for predicting crack ***,SegNet and U-Net networks are used to identify concrete *** gradient descent(SGD)and adaptive moment estimation(Adam)algorithms are applied to minimize loss function during ***,time series algorithms including gated recurrent unit(GRU)and long short-term memory(LStM)are used to predict crack *** experimental findings indicate that the U-Net is more robust and efficient than the SegNet for identifying crack segmentation and achieves the most outstanding *** evaluation of crack propagation,GRU and LStM are used as DL models and results show good agreement with the experimental data.

In this correspondence,we establish mean convergence theorems for the maximum of normed double sums of Banach space valued random *** of the results pertain to random elements which are *** expand and improve a number of particular cases in the literature on mean convergence of random elements in Banach *** of the main contributions of the paper is to simplify and improve a recent result of Li,Presnell,and Rosalsky[Journal of Mathematical Inequalities,16,117–126(2022)].A new maximal inequality for double sums of M-dependent random elements is proved which may be of independent *** sharpness of the results is illustrated by four examples.

Effects of pressure relief holes on coal burst:Insights from true-triaxial unloading tests

Drilling pressure relief is one of the methods to reduce the risk of coal bursts in deep ***,the effect of the drill hole orientations has not been studied well enough to understand their impact on the burst failure *** this study,we investigated two designs of drill hole *** first design includes drill holes located on the upper free face of the rectangular samples and labelled as upper hole(UH)and centre hole(CH)e the long axes of the drill holes are aligned with minor principal stress,s3,*** second design includes drill holes at the top(tH)and the side(SH)of the rectangular samples in which the long axes of the drill holes are aligned with the maximum,s1,and intermediate principal stress,s2,directions,*** coal samples with the proposed drill hole orientations were subjected to the true-triaxial unloading coal burst *** results show that the drill holes reduce the risk of coal ***,we found that the intensity of coal burst was significantly reduced with the SH-type,followed by the *** also observed that the coal burst intensity is reduced better for the CH,UH,tH,and SH-type drilling ***,it was found that the orientations of drill holes have little influence on the failure mode(splitting).the acoustic emission(AE)activities for coal with drill holes noticeably decreased,especially for the UH and CH *** drill holes reduced the upper limit of the AE entropy(chaos of microcracks generation).However,regarding reducing the coal burst risk,the tH and SH are less effective than UH and CH.
