To further research on high-parameter plasma,we plan to develop a two-dimensional hard X-ray(HXR)imaging system at the HL-3 tokamak to measure HXRs with energies ranging from 20 to 300 *** application of an array-structured detector ensures that this system can measure HXR-radiation spectra from the entire plasma cross ***,it is suitable for the study of fast-electron physics,such as radio-frequency wave current drives,fast electrons driving instabilities,and plasma disruptions in fusion *** this study,we develop a simulation for calculating fast-electron bremsstrahlung in the HL-3 tokamak based on the Monte Carlo simulation code Geant4,in which the plasma geometry and forward scattering of fast-electron bremsstrahlung are *** preliminary calculation results indicate that the HXR energy deposi-tion on the detector is symmetrically distributed,even though the plasma distribution is asymmetric owing to the toroidal *** simulation results are helpful in constructing the relationship between the energy deposition on the detector and parameter distribution on the plasma cross section during HL-3 *** is beneficial for the reconstruction of the fast-electron-distribution function and for optimizing the design of the HXR-imaging system.

The limited infiltration and persistence of chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-T cells is primarily responsible for their treatment deficits in solid tumors. Here, we present a three-dimensional scaffold, inspired by the physiological process of T-cell proliferation in lymph nodes. This scaffold gathers the function of loading,delivery, activation and expansion for CAR-T cells to enhance their therapeutic effects on solid tumors. This porous device is made from poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) by a microfluidic technique with the modification of T-cell stimulatory signals, including anti-CD3, anti-CD28 antibodies, as well as cytokines. This scaffold fosters a 50-fold CAR-T cell expansion in vitro and a 15-fold cell expansion in vivo. Particularly, it maintains long-lasting expansion of CAR-T cells for up to 30 days in a cervical tumor model and significantly inhibits the tumor growth. This biomimetic delivery strategy provides a versatile platform of cell delivery and activation for CAR-T cells in treating solid tumors.

Diabetic nephropathy(DN)is one of the major microvascular complications of diabetes mellitus and a major cause of end-stage renal disease(ESRD).The pathogenesis of DN is unknown,but it is closely related to disorders of glucolipid metabolism,abnormal hemodynamics,chronic inflammatory response,oxidative stress,and *** DN develops into ESRD,it is often more difficult to treat than ESRD caused by other kidney ***,a deeper knowledge of the pathophysiological mechanisms of DN and the discovery of candidate markers for early diagnosis are *** secreted by renal cells can regulate a series of pathophysiological processes such as translation and transcription by releasing miRNAs or proteins,thereby regulating the biological functions and phenotype of recipient kidney *** has been found that miRNA secreted by urinary exosomes in patients with DN is involved in the occurrence and development of DN and may become biological markers.1 However,studies on exosome proteins are relatively few and lack validation in *** the present study,we identified an altered pathway in urinary exosomes from DN patients for the first ***,the altered ferroptosis-related proteins may represent novel candidate markers for early progression of disease and/or early treatment effects.

Clinical Effect of Tislelizumab Combined with Chemotherapy in the Treatment of Stage IIIb-IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Objective:To analyze the therapeutic effect of tislelizumab combined with chemotherapy in patients with stage IIIb-IV non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:A total of 50 patients with stage IIIb-IV NSCLC admitted between January 2022 and January 2024 were randomly divided into two groups using a random number *** observation group included 25 cases treated with tislelizumab combined with chemotherapy,while the reference group included 25 cases treated with conventional *** clinical control rate,adverse reaction rate,tumor markers,immune function indicators,and quality of life scores were compared between the two ***:The observation group had a higher clinical control rate and a lower adverse reaction rate compared to the reference group(P0.05).Three months after treatment,the tumor marker levels in the observation group were lower than those in the reference *** for CD8^(+),all immune function indicators in the observation group were higher than those in the reference group,and the quality-of-life scores in the observation group were higher than those in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing tislelizumab combined with chemotherapy in patients with stage IIIb-IV NSCLC can improve the clinical control rate,reduce the adverse reaction rate,lower tumor marker levels,protect immune function,and improve quality of life.

Future changes in precipitation and water availability over the Tibetan Plateau projected by CMIP6 models constrained by climate sensitivity

Precipitation projections over the Tibetan Plateau(TP)show diversity among existing studies,partly due to model *** to develop a reliable projection remains ***,based on the IPCC AR6–assessed likely range of equilibrium climate sensitivity(ECS)and the climatological precipitation performance,the authors constrain the CMIP6(phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project)model projection of summer precipitation and water availability over the *** best estimates of precipitation changes are 0.24,0.25,and 0.45 mm d^(−1)(5.9%,6.1%,and 11.2%)under the Shared Socioeconomic Pathway(SSP)scenarios of SSP1–2.6,SSP2–4.5,and SSP5–8.5 from 2050–2099 relative to 1965–2014,*** corresponding constrained projections of water availability measured by precipitation minus evaporation(P–E)are 0.10,0.09,and 0.22 mm d^(−1)(5.7%,4.9%,and 13.2%),*** increase of precipitation and P–E projected by the high-ECS models,whose ECS values are higher than the upper limit of the likely range,are about 1.7 times larger than those estimated by constrained ***,there is a larger increase in precipitation and P–E over the eastern TP,while the western part shows a relatively weak difference in precipitation and a drier trend in P–*** wetter TP projected by the high-ECS models resulted from both an approximately 1.2–1.4 times stronger hydrological sensitivity and additional warming of 0.6℃–1.2℃ under all three scenarios during 2050–*** study emphasizes that selecting climate models with climate sensitivity within the likely range is crucial to reducing the uncertainty in the projection of TP precipitation and water availability changes.

Ultra-compact multifunctional integrated photonic modules have great practical significance to photonic integrated circuits (PICs).However,the design effect and efficiency of the existing mainstream inverse design algorithms are incompetent when designing these *** analyze their shortcomings in this task,and propose a new,to our knowledge,inverse design algorithm named polygon search (PS) algorithm to address these *** utilize the PS algorithm to design an integrated dual-channel mode-conversion-crossing waveguide *** module integrates three functions:interconversion between TE_(0) and TE_(1),interconversion between TE_(0) and TE_(2),and channel crossing within only a 4μm×4μm footprint,and its performance is verified by experimental *** not only greatly reduces the total footprint of many PICs but also greatly improves their fabricating ***,we propose a PS-designed mode mixer and a PS-designed bending waveguide,and connect them with the integrated modules to form a four-channel crossing-mode-division-multiplexing *** system can provide multiple modes on the basis of channel crossing and transmit the output signal in the same direction in parallel within a single output waveguide,which significantly increases the communication bandwidth and decreases the footprint of *** last,we demonstrate the effect and efficiency advantages of the PS algorithm over several mainstream inverse design algorithms by a comprehensive contrast experiment and explain these advantages in theory from several perspectives.

Hole transport material free carbon-based all-inorganic CsPbBr_(3)perovskite solar cells(PSCs)are promising for commercialization due to its low-cost,high open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))and superior *** to the different solubility of PbBr_(2)and CsBr in conventional solvents,CsPbBr_(3)films are mainly obtained by multi-step spin-coating through the phase evolution from PbBr_(2)to CsPb_(2)Br_(5)and then to CsPbBr_(3).The scalable fabrication of high-quality CsPbBr_(3)films has been rarely ***,an inkjet-printing method is developed to prepare high-quality CsPbBr_(3)*** formation of long-range crystalline CsPb_(2)Br_(5)phase can effectively improve phase purity and promote regular crystal stacking of CsPbBr_(3).Consequently,the inkjet-printed CsPbBr_(3)C-PSCs realized PCEs up to 9.09%,8.59%and 7.81%with active areas of 0.09,0.25,and 1 cm^(2),respectively,demonstrating the upscaling potential of our fabrication method and *** high performance is mainly ascribed to the high purity,strong crystal orientation,reduced surface roughness and lower trap states density of the as-printed CsPbBr_(3)*** work provides insights into the relationship between the phase evolution mechanisms and crystal growth dynamics of cesium lead bromide halide films.
