Five beefburger form.lations were prepared with substituting beef fat with olive oil and levels of wheat bran and irradiated at doses of 0 and 3 kGy, then sam.les were refrigerated stored and their quality characteristics were investigated. The results indicated that replacem.nt of beef fat with olive oil and ascending levels of wheat bran in burger batter significantly decreased their contents of total lipids and saturated fatty acids, while increased their contents of dietary fibers, unsaturated fatty acids and the ratios of unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids to the saturated ones. m.reover, significant im.rovem.nts were observed in the cooking yield and m.isture and fat retention of sam.les, proportionally to the added wheat bran, and both raw and cooked burger sam.les showed a high sensory acceptability. Irradiation of sam.les effectively inactivated Staphylococcus aureus, Salm.nella and enterobacteriaceae and significantly reduced the counts of m.sophilic and psychrophilic bacteria as well as m.lds and yeasts without any adverse effects on the quality characteristics of sam.les. Thus, reducing beef fat levels with the addition of olive oil and wheat bran produced a highly acceptable beefburger products with im.roved nutritional content as well as im.roved cooking and binding properties, while irradiation im.roved their m.crobiological quality.

This paper proposes an approach to calculate the head difference at two sides of suspended waterproof curtains during m.lti-grade *** seepage during the dewatering process can be subdivided into three regions:(i)seepage in pit,(ii)seepage between cur-tains,and(iii)seepage outside the *** flow rate of the first region is equal to the pum.ing rate,and the flow rate of the second and third regions can be obtained by num.rical analysis.A num.rical m.del is established to sim.late the seepage in the second and third regions and its perform.nce is validated by using the m.asured data of a series of field *** flow rate of each region is then used to derive form.lae for the head difference in conventional dewatering,which can be used to determ.ne the head difference at two sides of each waterproof curtain during m.lti-grade *** proposed form.la expresses the head difference as a function of the relative depth of the curtain inserted into the confined aquifer,the thickness of the aquifer,the distance between two curtains,and the anisotropy of the hydraulic conductivity of the *** proposed num.rical approach is further validated by using data derived from.num.rical *** validation results dem.nstrated that the predictions of the proposed approach are acceptable and convenient.

Objective:To characterize the antifungal activity of m.thanolic leaf extract of Calotropis gigantea alone or in com.ination with am.hotericin B against invasive pulm.nary aspergillosis in ***:GC/m. was used for analysis of active constituents of Calotropis gigantea *** germ.nation assay and broth m.cro-dilution m.thod were used to determ.ne antifungal potential of Calotropis gigantea/am.hotericin B against Aspergillus *** m.ce were random.y assigned into 5 groups:group 1 was neutropenic(control);group 2 was infected with Aspergillus fum.gatus;group 3 was infected with Aspergillus fum.gatus,and treated with Calotropis gigantea extract;group 4 was infected with Aspergillus fum.gatus and treated with am.hotericin B;group 5 was infected with Aspergillus fum.gatus and treated with both Calotropis gigantea extract and am.hotericin *** lung tissues were histopathologically *** burden and gliotoxin concentration were evaluated in lung ***,superoxide dism.tase,and m.londialdehyde content were determ.ned in lung ***,tum.r necrosis factor-alpha,interleukin-1,and interleukin-17 were also estim.ted by the sandwich enzym.-linked im.uno-sorbent ***:Calotropis gigantea/am.hotericin B had a m.nim.m.inhibitory concentration and m.nim.m.fungicidal concentration of 80 and 160μg/m.,respectively,for Aspergillus ***,Calotropis gigantea/am.hotericin B significantly reduced lung fungal burden by 72.95%and inhibited production of gliotoxin in lung tissues from.6320 to 1350μg/g *** gigantea/am.hotericin B reduced the oxidative stress of the lung via elevating the activity of antioxidant enzym.s and decreasing the levels of lipid *** activity and the production of pro-inflam.atory cytokines were also significantly *** electron m.croscopy revealed deteriorations in the hyphae ultrastructure in Calotropis gigantea/am.hotericin B trea

Using a m.lt-cooling process with the host glass,Dy_(2)O_(3)(1 wt%,2 wt%,3 wt%,and 4 wt%) doped tellurite glasses were produced.A(65-x)TeO_(2)-20B_(2)O_(3)-10Al_(2)O_(3)-SGeO_(2)-xDy_(2)O_(3) glass system.was analyzed by Xray *** patterns have a hum. at 2θ=27°-29° and no sharp peaks,indicating that all the glass sam.les are *** Vickers m.crohardness determ.nes how resistant a glass is to persistent deform.tion produced by a harder *** scanning calorim.try(DSC) at 300-550℃ was used to evaluate the therm.l properties of the Dy_x glass *** glass transition tem.erature T_g(sm.ll endotherm.c peak),start crystallization tem.erature T_x and crystallization tem.erature T_c can all be seen on the DSC therm.gram.exotherm.c peaks).The UV-Vis transm.ttance and absorption spectra were *** optical data show that the values of E_d^(ir),E_g^(Ind) and E_U decrease as the am.unt of Dy_(2)O_(3)increases,indicating a narrowing of the tails due to localized states in the forbidden gap.A concentration quenching event occurs when Dy^(3+) concentrations are above a certain threshold(1%).The addition of Dy_(2)O_(3) increases glass density,while the addition of other Dy(Ⅲ) oxides increases sam.le *** radiation shielding values change as a consequence of density *** sam.le with the highest am.unt of Dy_(2)O_(3)(Dy_(4)) has stronger radiation shielding characteristics;hence,it is superior in term. of shielding outcom.s at all energy *** Dy_x sam.les can be used in various form. of ionizing radiation shielding.

Abiotic stresses,including drought,have been found to affect the growth and m.dicinal quality of num.rous *** proposed study aim. to study the effects of different drought regim.s on the m.tabolic profile,growth,ecophysiology,cellular antioxidants,and antioxidant potential of Nigella sativa(Black cum.n)***-day-old seedlings of *** were exposed to three regim.s of drought(control,m.derate and high)for a ***/m. m.tabolic profile of the leaf reveals the presence of m.re than a hundred m.tabolites belonging to anthocyanins,chalcones,dihydro flavonoids,flavonoids,flavanols,flavones,flavonoid carbonoside,isoflavones,*** was found to alter the contents of identified *** stress-induced oxidative stress and increased production of hydrogen peroxide and superoxide *** changes,activities of antioxidant enzym.s,contents of antioxidants,and proline were significantly high under drought to protect against the low water ***,stressed leaf extract had higher antioxidant ***,*** leaf bears m.ltiple m.tabolic pathways and can tolerate a higher degree of drought or osm.tic stress.

In agricultural system.,the regular m.nitoring of Soil Organic m.tter(SOm.dynam.cs is *** task is costly and tim.-consum.ng when using the conventional m.thod,especially in a very fragm.nted area and with intensive agricultural activity,such as the area of Sidi *** study area is located in the Doukkala irrigated perim.ter in *** data can provide an alternative and fill this gap at a low *** to predict SOm.from.a satellite im.ge,whether linear or nonlinear,have shown considerable *** study aim. to com.are SOm.prediction using m.ltiple Linear Regression(m.R)and Artificial Neural Networks(ANN).A total of 368 points were collected at a depth of 0-30 cm.and analyzed in the *** im.ge at 15 m.resolution(m.PAN)was produced from.a 30 m.resolution(m.)Landsat-8 im.ge using im.ge pansharpening processing and panchrom.tic band(15 m..The results obtained show that the m.R m.dels predicted the SOm.with(training/validation)R^(2)values of 0.62/0.63 and 0.64/0.65 and Rm.E values of 0.23/0.22 and 0.22/0.21 for the m. and m.PAN im.ges,*** contrast,the ANN m.dels predicted SOm.with R2 values of 0.65/0.66 and 0.69/0.71 and Rm.E values of 0.22/0.10 and 0.21/0.18 for the m. and m.PAN im.ges,*** pansharpening im.roved the prediction accuracy by 2.60%and 4.30%and reduced the estim.tion error by 0.80%and 1.30%for the m.R and ANN m.dels,respectively.

This research aim. to study the im.act of yttrium.oxide on the radiation protection features of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) for gam.a shielding *** yttrium.oxide(Y_(2)O_(3)) was instilled through the PVA m.trix by different contents(x=0.1 wt%,0,3 wt%,0,7 wt%,0,9 wt%),The m.rphology of the prepared PVA/Y_(2)O_(3)com.osites was characterized using scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm..The sam.les were investigated using absorption edge,transm.ttance spectra and dielectric *** transm.ttance and the bandgap energy decrease as the Y2O3content increases while there is an increase in ε’ and ε" as well as the ac conductivity with the content increm.nt of Y_(2)O_(3)till 0.7 wt%.The te m.erature dependence of the dc conductivity was m.asured for all sam.les in the range of 260-460 K,and it increases with the tem.erature *** correlate the electrical characteristics of the PVA/Y_(2)O_(3)com.osites with their structure and evaluate electrical properties with the help of equivalent circuit m.tching with the experim.ntally electrical response in the im.edance spectrum.the radiation protection properties were also investigated to get the radiation shielding perform.nce of these PVA/Y_(2)O_(3)com.osite film. with varying Y_(2)O(3)*** linear attenuation coefficient(μ),half value layer(T_(0.5)),and m.ss attenuation coefficient(μm. were *** to all obtained data,PVA/Y_(2)O_(3)com.osite film. with various percentages(0.1 wt%,0.3 wt%,0.7 wt%,0.9 wt%) can be used as a radiation shielding m.terial.

Researchers hope that establishing a notion of proxim.ty using topology will help to clarify the biological processes underlying the evolution of living organism.. The sim.le m.del presented here, using RNA shapes, can carry over to m.re general and com.lex genotype–phenotype system.. Proxim.ty is an im.ortant com.onent of continuity, in both real-world and topological term.. Consequently, phenotype spaces provide an appropriate setting for m.deling and investigating continuous and discontinuous evolutionary change.
