A dynamic analysis of both twisting and regular towers is carried out to determine the results of considering soil-structure interaction(SSI)on high-rise *** addition,the difference between the seismic performance of using twisting towers over regular ones is *** twisting tower is a simulation of the Evolution Tower(Moscow).The towers’skeletons consist of RC elements and rest on a reinforced concrete piled-raft *** soil model is considered as multi-layered with the same soil properties as the zone chosen for the analysis(New Mansoura City,Egypt).The only difference between both towers is their shape in *** whole system is modelled and analyzed in a single step as one full 3D model,which is known as the direct approach in *** analyses are carried out using finite-element software(Midas GTS NX).Dynamic output responses due to three records of seismic loads are proposed and presented in some *** on the results,it is concluded that SSI has a considerable effect on the dynamic response of tall buildings mainly because of the foundation flexibility,as it leads to lengthening the vibration period,increasing the story drift and the base shear for both cases.

Mathematical simulation of nonlinear physical and abstract systems is a very vital process for predicting the solution behavior of fractional partial differential equations(FPDEs)corresponding to different applications in science and engineering. In this paper, an attractive reliable analytical technique, the conformable residual power series, is implemented for constructing approximate series solutions for a class of nonlinear coupled FPDEs arising in fluid mechanics and fluid flow, which are often designed to demonstrate the behavior of weakly nonlinear and long waves and describe the interaction of shallow water waves. In the proposed technique the n-truncated representation is substituted into the original system and it is assumed the(n-1) conformable derivative of the residuum is zero. This allows us to estimate coefficients of truncation and successively add the subordinate terms in the multiple fractional power series with a rapidly convergent form. The influence, capacity, and feasibility of the presented approach are verified by testing some real-world applications. Finally, highlights and some closing comments are attached.

Right Ventricular Dysfunction in Patients with Acute STEMI, Radionuclide-Based Assessment

Background: An acute myocardial infarction, particularly one that is large and transmural, can produce alterations in the topography of both the infarcted and noninfarcted regions of the ventricle. Cardiac remodeling after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is characterized by molecular and cellular mechanisms involving both left and right ventricles. Objective: To study the right ventricular affection in patients with acute myocardial infarction of the left ventricle and treated with primary PCI. Methods: The study was done in the critical care department, Cairo University (in which 2,500 primary percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs) are done annually). Forty patients with acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) were subjected to primary (PCI), we excluded all patients with RV infarction and patients with pulmonary hypertension. RV function was assessed by first pass radionuclide angiocardiography within 48 hours of admission. Results: Regarding the incidence of right ventricular dysfunction in patients with acute left ventricular STEMI who treated with 1ry PCI, there were 21 patients (52.5%) with RV EF% patients (47.5%) with RV time to peak filling rate (TPFR) > 180 msec. There was a significant relationship between right ventricular dysfunction and duration of ICU stay, impairment of LV systolic function, failure of complete resolution of ST segment elevation, failure of early peaking of cardiac enzymes, occurrence of in-hospital complications and one year mortality. Conclusion: The incidence of right ventricular dysfunction in patients with acute left ventricular STEMI is higher than expected and has a negative impact on their outcome.

Recent clinical research has demonstrated that berry fruits can prevent age-related neurodegenerative diseases and improve motor and cognitive functions. The berry fruits are also capable of modulating signaling pathways involved in inflammation, cell survival, neurotransmission and enhancing neuroplasticity. The neuroprotective effects of berry fruits on neurodegenerative diseases are related to phytochemicals such as anthocyanin, caffeic acid, catechin, quercetin, kaempferol and tannin. In this review, we made an attempt to clearly describe the beneficial effects of various types of berries as promising neuroprotective agents.

An efficient in vitro protocol for mass production of shoot of Dahlia was developed by using node explant, various carbon sources such as sucrose, glucose, fructose and galactose. Agar concentrations and various growth regulators on in vitro shoot multiplication of Dahlia were studied in the present investigation. The nodal explant from the gardens grown plant were used as testing plant material to develop an efficient protocol for mass propagation of exotic Dahlia to enhance their production for growers and the local markets. This study determined the effect of different carbon sucrose concentrations and gelling agent on in vitro propagation of Dahlia, different carbon sources （sucrose, glucose, fructose and galactose） were investigated, each sugar was added individually to the MS culture medium at the concentrations of 15, 30 and 45 g·L^-1, respectively. Culture medium of each treatment was supplemented with 1,5 mg·L^-1 BA ＋ 1.5 mg·L^-1Kin ＋ 7,0 g·L^-1 agar. The highest number of shoots （7.00）, number of leaves （11.50）, number of node （6.75） and shoot length （8.24 cm） was obtained on MS medium supplemented with 30 g·L^-1 glucose. The least number of shoots （3.38）, number of leaves （5.00）, number of node （3.13） and the least shoot length （2.96 cm） was obtained on 45 g·L^-1 galactose and the least shoot length （2.29 cm） was observed on MS medium with free carbon sources. While the medium with 30 g·L^-1 glucose and 8 g·L^-1 agar gave the highest number of shoots （7.13）, number of leaves （10.75）, number of node （7.13） and shoot length （8.18 cm）. However, the least number of shoots （1.50）, number of leaves （1.88）, number of node （1.63） and the least shoot length （1.26 cm） was obtained with 30 g·L^-1 galactose and 12 g·L^-1 agar. Rooting was readily achieved upon transferring the microshoots onto MS medium supplemented with 0.1 mg·L^-1 IBA, IAA and NAA and 30 g·L^-1 （w/v） different types of carbon sources. AIM： TO elucidate the age-distribution of anti-hepatitis A virus （HAY） seroprevalence across different socioeconomic status （SES） categories in Bangladesh which, despite scarce data, is generally deemed to have high endemicity. METHODS： Blood samples of 818 subjects from a stratified samp#e of schools and hospitals, comprising different age categories and SES were collected. They were assayed for total anti-HAV antibodies. Social and medical history data were obtained using a questionnaire. RESULTS： Overall anti-HAV seroprevalence was 69.6%, increasing with age from 1-5 years （40.4%） to 〉 30 years （98.4%）. Seroprevalence was lowest （49.8%） in the high SES group and highest （96.5%） in the rural lower-middle SES group. Among subjects aged 6-20 years, anti-HAV seroprevalence was lowest in urban private school children （43.0%）, followed by urban government school children （76.2%） and rural school children （96.5%）（P 〈 0.01）. Within the high SESgroup, anti-HAV seroprevalence was 32.3% in subjects 〈 10 years and 51.7% in those aged 11-20 years. Until now Bangladesh has been deemed to have high endemicity for HAV. CONCLUSION： The transition from high to intermediate HAV endemicity may be underway; high SES adolescents and adults remain particularly at risk of symptomatic illness. Preventive measures need consideration.
