This study aimed to evaluate the anti-cancer effects as well as stimulation of various immune related factors such as complementary system,macrophages,and NK cells of polysaccharides isolated from Panax ginseng(***)*** polysaccharide fractions(PGEP,PGEP-I,-II,and-III)isolated from *** were contained rhamnose(Rha),arabinose(Ara),galactose(Gal),galacturonic acid(GalA),and glucuronic acid(GlcA),all of which are typical sugar components of rhamnogalacturonan(RG)-*** PGEP-I reacted with theβ-glucosyl Yariv reagent(37.29%),indicating the presence of type-II ***,methylation analysis indicated the PGEP-I mainly comprised 19 different sugar linkages including 4-linked GalpA,2,4-linked Rhap,3,6-linked Galp,5-linked Araf,terminal GlcpA,and terminal Arap which are characteristics of ***,PGEP-I enhanced the production of cytokines such as interleukin(IL)-6,IL-12,and tumor necrosis factor-αand augmented the complement *** intravenous administration of PGEP-I activated the natural killer(NK)cells in a dose-dependent manner against *** intravenous administration of PGEP-I significantly suppressed Colon26-M3.1 carcinoma inoculation-induced lung cancer(48.7%).Moreover,the anti-cancer effects of PGEP-I were significant even though NK cell functions were blocked by anti-asialo *** findings suggest that PGEP-I,an RG-I polysaccharide,not only activates the complement system,macrophages and NK cells,but also has strong anticancer effects that inhibit lung cancer.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate a Korean Nurses’ Core Competency Scale (KNCCS). Methods: This methodological research was conducted over two major steps. The first step involved developing a preliminary 70-item KNCCS based on an extensive literature review and the standards and criteria proposed by the Korean Accreditation of Nursing. The second step involved evaluating validity and reliability of the KNCCS. 528 newly graduated nurses recently employed in nine major hospitals were participated in this research for validation. Results: The final KNCCS consisted of 70 items. The exploratory factor analysis identified five subscales under which each item could be categorized: 1) human understanding and communication skills;2) professional attitudes;3) critical thinking and evaluation;4) general clinical performance;and 5) specific clinical performance. Conclusion: The KNCCS shows good reliability and validity. However, the test of both criterion and construct validity were recommended further.

A critical challenge hindering the practical application of lithium–oxygen batteries(LOBs)is the inevitable problems associated with liquid electrolytes,such as evaporation and safety *** study addresses these problems by proposing a modified polyrotaxane(mPR)-based solid polymer electrolyte(SPE)design that simultaneously mitigates solvent-related problems and improves ***-SPE exhibits high ion conductivity(2.8×10^(−3)S cm^(−1)at 25℃)through aligned ion conduction pathways and provides electrode protection ability through hydrophobic chain *** this mPR-SPE into solid-state LOBs resulted in stable potentials over 300 *** situ Raman spectroscopy reveals the presence of an LiO_(2)intermediate alongside Li_(2)O_(2)during oxygen *** situ X-ray diffraction confirm the ability of the SPE to hinder the permeation of oxygen and moisture,as demonstrated by the air permeability *** present study suggests that maintaining a low residual solvent while achieving high ionic conductivity is crucial for restricting the sub-reactions of solid-state LOBs.

Lignocellulosic biomass is one of the viable solutions to alleviate the global warming. However, the limited utilization of biomass majorly focused on cellulose and hemicellulose restricts the economic and environmental feasibilities. To cope with this issue, we proposed an integrated process of co-producing 1,6-hexanediol（1,6-HDO） with tetrahydrofuran and adipic acid from biomass, referred to as Strategy A. To compare the impacts of lignin upgrading and feedstock, Strategy B, which co-produces tetrahydrofuran alone, and Strategy C, which is the traditional route to produce 1,6-HDO from fossil fuels, were used. Heat networks are also designed to reduce operating costs and indirect carbon emissions due to energy consumption, saving 87% and 83% of the heat and cooling requirements, respectively, in Strategy A. The market competitiveness of Strategy A was evaluated by determining the minimum selling price through techno-economic analysis, and sustainability was thoroughly investigated by quantifying the environmental impacts through both midpoint and endpoint life-cycle assessments（LCAs）.Strategy A was found to be the most favorable both economically（USRDSCHARDOLLAR3,402/ton） and environmentally（-26.9 kg CO2eq.）. This indicates that lignin valorization is not only economically but also environmentally preferred. Finally, changes in economic and environmental feasibilities depending on economic, process, and environmental parameters were investigated using sensitivity and uncertainty analyses. The results of these analyses provide valuable insight into bio-based chemical production.

The marine medium-speed diesel engines are started by two methods;one is the electric motors,and the other air starting *** though air starting motor is dependent of the engine types and sizes,it has been widely used in this area due to its simplicity,convenience and *** purpose of this paper is to give the designing parameters in order to make a proper "Air Starting Motor" using *** aerodynamic approaches were given to understand the internal flow characteristics of the air starting *** addition,we have carried out the investigation of effects of tip *** the calculations the tip clearance of air starting motor has been varied between 0,2.8,4.3 and 5.7% of blade *** results of computation are the tip clearance increased to 2.8%,the torque decreased 24%,and there was no more large changes when the clearances increased to 4.3% and 5.7%.
