目的使用13N-NH，PET显像检测冠脉血流储备（CFR）和相对血流储备（RFR），分析两者之间的关系以诊断冠心病。方法69例稳定性心绞痛患者在2周内接受13N—NH，PET显像和cT冠脉造影（CTA），必要时还行介入冠脉造影（CAG）。通过13N-NH，PET显像检测心肌血流（MBF）、CFR、RFR和相关冠脉供血区域的冠脉血管阻力（CVRref）。采用CTA和CAG评价冠脉明显狭窄（SS）和弥漫性动脉粥样硬化（DA）。比较有和无SS和DA的各冠状动脉的PET检测功能参数。结果有SS和DA的冠状动脉其负荷态MBF显著降低，有SS的冠脉其RFR显著降低，而CFR没有降低。有DA的冠脉其CFR显著降低，而RFR没有降低。在没有SS的冠脉中，有DA的其CFR显著降低，但在有SS的冠脉中，无论有无DA，CFR都相近。相反，无论有无DA，存在SS的冠脉其RFR显著降低。CFR和RFR在24例中（35％）呈不一致的弱正相关性（r=0．269）。在CFR和RFR不一致的冠脉中，CFR降低而RFR正常的冠脉其DA的发生率高于CFR正常而RFR降低的冠脉（75％比25％，P=0．028）。有DA的冠脉其CVR。显著升高，表明DA与潜在的微血管病变具有相关性。结论心肌血流灌注PET显像测定CFR和RFR为诊断CAD提供了更丰富的信息。

Primary intestinal lymphangiectasia(PIL)is a rare disorder characterized by dilated intestinal lymphatics and the development of protein-losing *** with PIL develop hypoalbuminemia,hypocalcemia,lymphopenia and hypogammaglobulinemia,and present with bilateral lower limb edema,fatigue,abdominal pain and *** reveals diffusely elongated,circumferential and polypoid mucosae covered with whitish enlarged villi,all of which indicate intestinal *** is conf irmed by characteristic tissue pathology,which includes dilated intestinal lymphatics with diffusely swollen mucosa and enlarged *** prevalence of PIL has increased since the introduction of capsule *** etiology and prevalence of PIL remain *** studies have reported that several genes and regulatory molecules for lymphangiogenesis are related to *** report the case of a patient with PIL involving the entire small bowel that was confirmed by capsule endoscopy and double-balloon enteroscopy-guided tissue pathology who carried a deletion on chromosome *** relationship between this deletion on chromosome 4 and PIL remains to be investigated.

The present study examined the effects of Tremella fuciformis(TF) on the learning and memory function and the neural activity in rats with TMT-induced memory *** rats were administered saline or TF(TF 25,50,100mg/kg,p.o.) daily for 21 *** cognitive improving efficacy of TF on the amnesic rats, which was induced by TMT,was investigated by assessing the Morris water maze test and by performing acetylchoine transferase(ChAT) and cAMP responsive element binding protein(CREB) immunohistochemistry. In order to confirm the underlying mechanisms of the memory enhancing effects of TF,we assessed the neurite outgrowth of PC12 *** also administered 18F-Fluorodeoxyglucose and performed a PET/CT scan of the frontal lobe. The rats with TMT injection showed impaired learning and memory of the tasks and treatment with TF produced a significant improvement of the escape latency to find the platform in the Morris water maze at the 2 day compared to that of the control group(after the 2 day,p<0.05).In the retention test,the TF50 group showed increased time spent around the platform compared to that of the control group(p<0.05).Consistent with the behavioral data,TF50 mg/kg significantly alleviated the loss of ChAT-ir neurons in the hippocampus compared to that of the control group(p<0.001).Treatment with TF significantly increased the CREB positive neurons in the hippocampal CA1 area as compared to that of the control *** addition,TF treatment(50mg/kg) increased the glucose uptake approximately sevenfold in the frontal lobe(p<0.001) and it significantly promoted neurite outgrowth of the PC 12 cells(p<0.01),as compared to that of the controls. These results suggest that TF may be useful for improving the cognitive function via regulation of cholinergic marker enzyme activity and neural activity.

The prevalence of exercise-induced asthma（EIA）increases markedly in elite *** has been extensively studied in Caucasian athletes,but little report has been published in Asian *** purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of EIA symptoms,asthma diagnosis,and asthma medication in Korean national team athletes.A validated questionnaire was used to determine the prevalence of EIA symptoms,asthma diagnosis,and asthma *** study population was composed of the year 2008 Korean national team athletes who were training in the Taeneung national training *** participants were athletes（n=285）from 16 different summer *** range of each EIA symptom positive responders was 30%to 66%.Cough and excess mucus were most often experienced while wheezing and difficulty of breathing were relatively not quite often *** of EIA symptom was self-reported by about 18%of all the subjects,and all5 EIA symptoms were reported by 9.5%.Asthma diagnosis by a physician was reported 10.9%of all the subjects and use of asthma medication was only6.7%of all the *** rhinitis diagnosis by a physician was 22.5%of all the subjects and use of allergy medication was 11.6%of the *** symptoms were analyzed by specific characteristics of sports such as environment of sports participated（*** *** sports）,team *** *** of these sport characteristics seems to be affecting EIA symptoms in Korean national *** prevalence of asthma diagnosis was similar to other ***,the prevalence of EIA symptoms was relatively high,which might involve undiagnosed *** investigations are needed to EIA diagnosis in Korean athletes.

Risk of sedation for diagnostic esophagogastroduodenoscopy in obstructive sleep apnea patients

AIM: To investigate whether patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) are at risk of sedation-related complications during diagnostic esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD). METHODS: A prospective study was performed in consecutive patients with OSA, who were confirmed with full-night polysomnography between July 2010 and April 2011. The occurrence of cardiopulmonary complications related to sedation during diagnostic EGD was compared between OSA and control groups. RESULTS: During the study period, 31 patients with OSA and 65 controls were enrolled. Compared with the control group, a higher dosage of midazolam was administered (P = 0.000) and a higher proportion of deep sedation was performed (P = 0.024) in the OSA group. However, all adverse events, including sedation fail-ure, paradoxical responses, snoring or apnea, hypoxia, hypotension, oxygen or flumazenil administration, and other adverse events were not different between the two groups (all P > 0.1). Patients with OSA were not predisposed to hypoxia with multivariate logistic regression analysis (P = 0.068). CONCLUSION: In patients with OSA, this limited sized study did not disclose an increased risk of cardiopulmonary complications during diagnostic EGD under sedation.

Effects of traditional Chinese herbal medicine San-HuangXie-Xin-Tang on gastrointestinal motility in mice

AIM: To investigate the effects of San-Huang-Xie-XinTang(SHXXT), a herbal product used in traditional Chinese medicine, on gastrointestinal(GI) motility in ***: The in vivo effects of SHXXT on GI motility were investigated by measuring the intestinal transit rates(ITRs) using Evans blue in normal mice and in mice with experimentally induced GI motility dysfunction(GMD).RESULTS: In normal ICR mice, ITRs were significantly and dose-dependently increased by SHXXT(0.1-1 g/kg). GMD was induced by injecting acetic acid or streptozotocin intraperitoneally. The ITRs of GMD mice were significantly reduced compared to normal mice, and these reductions were significantly and dose-dependently inhibited by SHXXT(0.1-1 g/kg).CONCLUSION: These results suggest that SHXXT is a novel candidate for the development of a prokinetic agent that may prevent or alleviate GMD.

辣椒(Capsicum annuum)是美洲最古老的驯化作物之一,在全世界被广泛种植。本研究对CM334(墨西哥地方品种)进行了全基因组测序和组装(覆盖度为186.6×),同时还对另外两个栽培种和一个野生种分别进行了重测序和从头(de novo)测序。结果表明辣椒基因组大小约为番茄的4倍,辣椒基因组上存在大量gypsy转座子和花椰菜病毒家族元件的积累。结合转录组综合分析认为,辣椒素合成酶基因表达模式的改变及新功能化是导致辣椒素生物合成的原因,研究还发现辣椒与番茄在乙烯合成及果实成熟调控方面存在明显不同的分子模式。辣椒参考基因组的发布为辣椒营养品质和药用价值的改善提供了重要平台。

＜正＞Objectives:Ginseng has been traditionally used to recover vital energy from Qi deficiency in oriental countries, and showed its various biomedical effects in scientific literatures. Recent reports suggested that ginseng could regulate blood pressure （BP）, but much controversy still remain. Therefore, we intended to assess the anti-hypertensive effect of some ginseng species on Koreans and Chinese. Method:This is a randomized, double blinded controlled trial. We conducted this study in Department of Cardiovascular and Neurologic Diseases （Stroke Center）, Hospital of Oriental Medicine, Kyung hee Medical Center, from June 2004 to October 2004, and In China, 96 subjects were recruited at the Emergency Room of Teaching Hospital of The Traditional Chinese Medicine of Chengdu University, from July 2004 to April 2005. The study subjects were recruited from the mild hypertensive patients who belonged pre-hypertension （120/80 to 139/89 mmHg） and stage I hypertension （140/90 to 159/99 mmHg） in Korea and China. After assigning the subjects into a Korean, a Chinese, a Red, and an American ginseng group by randomization, we prescribed ginseng with the dose of 4.5 g per a day for 4 weeks. To assess the anti-hypertensive effect, we compared the mean of systolic and diastolic BP between before and after ginseng medication by 24 hours Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor （24hr ABPM）. We also monitored adverse effect and laboratory findings to secure the subjects’ safety. Results:There were 64 subjects who had been treated with Korean ginseng, 58 treated with Chinese ginseng, 33 treated with Red ginseng, and 64 treated with American ginseng. Korean, Chinese, and American ginseng reduced subjects’ BP. Especially, Korean and Chinese ginseng showed more excellent effects. The secondary analysis on the subjects’ nationality revealed that all of the ginseng species showed more significant anti-hypertensive effect in Chinese than in Koreans.
