BACKGROUND Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty(UKA)has great advantages in the treatment of unicompartmental knee osteoarthritis,but its revision rate is higher than that of total knee *** To summarize and analyse the causes of revision after *** This is a retrospective case series study in which the reasons for the first revision after UKA are *** analysed the clinical symptoms,medical histories,laboratory test results,imaging examination results and treatment processes of the patients who underwent revision and summarized the reasons for primary revision after *** A total of 13 patients,including 3 males and 10 females,underwent revision surgery after *** average age of the included patients was 67.62 *** prosthesis was used for 3 d to 72 *** main reasons for revision after UKA were improper suturing of the surgical opening(1 patient),osteophytes(2 patients),intra-articular loose bodies(2 patients),tibial prosthesis loosening(2 patients),rheumatoid arthritis(1 patient),gasket dislocation(3 patients),anterior cruciate ligament injury(1 patient),and medial collateral ligament injury with residual bone cement(1 patient).CONCLUSION The causes of primary revision after UKA were gasket dislocation,osteophytes,intra-articular loose bodies and tibial prosthesis *** of these factors may greatly reduce the rate of revision after UKA,improve patient satisfaction and reduce medical burden.

Expression of Cyclin E and Its Relationship with the Prognosis of Patients with Breast Cancer

Objective： To investigate the expression of cyclin E in breast cancer tissues and its relationship with prognosis of the patients with breast cancer. Methods： The expression of cyclin E, heR-2/neu, nm23-H1 and actin was detected in 80 breast cancer tissues and 18 benign breast tumor tissues by immunohistochemical methods. The relationship between cyclin E and the remaining genes or the clinical data of the patients with breast cancer was analyzed. Results： The over expression rate of cyclin E in malignant tissues was obviously higher than that in benign tumor tissues （P〈0.01）. The over expression of cyclin E in later stage of disease was higher than that in early stage of disease （P〈0.05）. The expression of cyclin E in ER positive tissues was lower than that in ER negative tissues （P〈0.05）. The expression of cyclin E in PR positive tissues and PR negative tissues had no significant difference （P〉0.05）. The expression of cyclin E in heR-2/neu positive tissues was higher than that in heR-2/neu negative tissues （P〈0.05）. And the expression of cyclin E in ER, PR and heR-2/neu all positive tissues was much higher （P〈0.01）. There was no significant difference in the expression of cyclin E between nm23-H1 positive tissues and nm23-H1 negative tissues （P〉0.05）. The expression of cyclin E in actin positive and continuous distribution tissues was lower than that in actin negative or discontinuous distribution tissues （P〈0.05）. Conclusion： The expression of cyclin E has a strong correlation to the prognosis of the patients with breast cancer.

Mechanism analysis of foam penetration in EPB shield tunnelling with a focus on FER and soil particle size

Parameters of foam penetration in earth pressure balance(EPB)shield tunnelling,such as permeability coefficients and penetration distances,significantly impact tunnel face ***,existing studies have faced inaccuracies in analysing these parameters due to imitations in experimental *** study addresses this issue by employing enhanced methods for a more precise analysis of foam *** involving three distinct sand types(coarse,medium,and fine)and three foam expansion ratios(FER)(10,15,and 20)are conducted using a modified model test *** from a novel computer vision-based method,the model test outcomes unveil two distinct foam penetration paths:liquid migration(L_(w))and bubble migration(L_(f)).Three penetration phases-namely,injection,blockage&drainage,and breakage—are identified based on L_(w)and L_(f)*** initial"injection"phase conforms to Darcy’s law and is amenable to mathematical *** foam with FER of 15 has the maximum viscosity and,hence the L_(f)and permeability in the penetration tests with FER of 15 are the lowest in the same *** bubble size distribution of foam with different FER shows minor ***,the characteristics of foam penetration vary due to the distinct particle size distribution(PSD)of different *** penetration creates low-permeability layers in both medium and fine sands due to the larger bubble size of the foam compared to the estimated pore sizes of medium and fine *** the coarse sand results in a different situation due to its large pore *** distinctive characteristics of foam penetration in different sand strata are notably shaped by FER,PSD,and pore size *** insights shed light on the complex interactions during foam penetration at the tunnel face,contributing valuable knowledge to EPB shield tunnelling practices.

Distributed Nash Equilibrium Seeking on Compact Action Sets over Jointly Strongly Connected Switching Networks

New recessive compound heterozygous variants of RP1L1 in RP1L1 maculopathy

Spectral-interferometry-based diff-iteration for high-precision micro-dispersion measurement

Precise measurement of micro-dispersion for optical devices(optical fiber,lenses,etc.)holds paramount significance across domains such as optical fiber communication and dispersion interference ***,due to its complex system,complicated process,and low reliability,the traditional dispersion measurement methods(interference,phase shift,or time delay methods)are not suitable for the accurate measurement of micro-dispersion in a wide spectral ***,we propose a spectral-interferometry-based diff-iteration(SiDi)method for achieving accurate wide-band micro-dispersion *** an optical frequency comb,based on the phase demodulation of the dispersion interference spectrum,we employ the carefully designed SiDi method to solve the dispersion curve at any position and any *** approach is proficient in precisely measuring micro-dispersion across a broadband spectrum,without the need for cumbersome wavelength scanning processes or reliance on complex high-repetition-rate combs,while enabling adjustable *** efficacy of the proposed method is validated through simulations and *** employed a chip-scaled soliton microcomb(SMC)to compute the dispersion curves of a 14 m single-mode fiber(SMF)and a 0.05 m *** to a laser interferometer or the theoretical value given by manufacturers,the average relative error of refractive index measurement for single-mode fiber(SMF)reaches 2.8×10^(-6) and for glass reaches 3.8×10^(-6).The approach ensures high precision,while maintaining a simple system structure,with realizing adjustable resolution,thereby propelling the practical implementation of precise measurement and control-dispersion.
