Computational fluid dynamics(CFD)provides a powerful tool for investigating complicated fluid *** paper aims to study the applicability of CFD in the preliminary design of linear and nonlinear fluid viscous *** fluid viscous dampers were designed based on CFD *** first device was a linear viscous damper with straight *** second was a nonlinear viscous damper containing a one-way pressure-responsive valve inside its *** dampers were detailed based on CFD simulations,and their internal fluid flows were ***-scale specimens of both dampers were manufactured and tested under dynamic *** to the tests results,both dampers demonstrate stable cyclic behaviors,and as expected,the nonlinear damper generally tends to dissipate more energy compared to its linear *** compatibility was achieved between the experimentally measured damper force-velocity curves and those estimated from CFD *** a thermography camera,a rise in temperature of the dampers was measured during the *** was found that output force of the manufactured devices was virtually independent of temperature even during long duration ***,temperature dependence can be ignored in CFD models,because a reliable temperature compensator mechanism was used(or intended to be used)by the damper manufacturer.

BACKGROUND Gastritis is one of the most frequently diagnosed diseases requiring medical treatment in South ***,a novel potassium-competitive acid blocker,has been approved for treating gastritis and erosive ***,rebamipide is the most commonly used mucoprotective agent for acute and chronic gastritis in real-world settings in South ***,there have been no studies comparing the efficacy of these two drugs *** To compare the efficacy of fexuprazan with that of rebamipide for acute and chronic *** This was a matching-adjusted indirect *** patient data from a phase III study of fexuprazan(10 mg BID)were compared with cumulative data from two matching studies of rebamipide(100 mg TID).Erosion improvement and healing rates were compared between two weeks of fexurapan,two weeks of rebamipide,and four weeks of *** two main outcome variables were presented as percentages,and the risk differences(RD)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)were calculated for the relative treatment *** In the primary analysis,the erosion improvement and healing rates after a twoweek treatment with fexuprazan were 64.5%and 53.2%,respectively,while a twoweek treatment with rebamipide resulted in erosion improvement and healing rates of 43.6%(RD:21.0%;95%CI:9.6-32.3;P<0.01)and 35.6%(RD:17.6%;95%CI:6.1-29.2;P=0.003),*** the additional analysis,the erosion improvement and healing rates for the two-week fexuprazan treatment(64.2%and 51.2%,respectively)were similar to those obtained during a four-week treatment with rebamipide(60.6%;RD:3.6%;95%CI:-9.8,17.0;P=0.600 and 53.5%;RD:-2.3%;95%CI:-16.1,11.5;P=0.744,respectively).CONCLUSION The two-week fexuprazan treatment was superior to the two-week rebamipide treatment and similar to the fourweek rebamipide treatment for patients with gastritis.

The transmission of seismic waves in a particular region may influence the hydraulic properties of a rock mass, including permeability, which is one of the most important. To determine the effect of a seismic wave on the hydraulic behavior of a fractured rock mass, systematic numerical modeling was conducted. A number of discrete fracture network（DFN） models with a size of 20 m × 20 m were used as geometrical bases, and a discrete element method（DEM） was employed as a numerical simulation tool. Three different boundary conditions without（Type Ⅰ） and with static（Type Ⅱ） and dynamic（Type Ⅲ） loading were performed on the models, and then their permeability was calculated. The results showed that permeability in Type Ⅲ models was respectively 62.7% and 44.2% higher than in Type I and Type Ⅱ models. This study indicates that seismic waves can affect deep earth, and, according to the results, seismic waves increase the permeability and change the flow rate patterns in a fractured rock mass.

Dynamic earth pressure induced by machine foundations on a neighboring retaining wall is analyzed with emphasis on factors which control the intensity and location of the design forces. The meshless local Petrov-Galerkin (MLPG) method is used to analyze the problem for a variety of retaining wall and machine foundation geometries. The soil medium is assumed to be homogeneous and visco-elastic. The machine foundation is idealized as a harmonic sinusoidal dynamic force often encountered in practice. A number of analyses have been made to reveal the effect of the loading frequency, the location and size of the foundation and the soil shear wave velocity on the distribution and magnitude of the dynamic earth pressure. Results indicate that there is a critical frequency and a critical location for which the passive pressure takes the maxima in the entire duration of the dynamic load.

Endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD) is the most advanced and representative technique in the field of therapeutic endoscopy and has been used for the treatment of gastrointestinal neoplasms,including early gastric *** major difference and advantage of ESD compared to existing endoscopic resection techniques,such as endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR) and polypectomy,are the width and depth of the *** developed cutting devices,distal attachable endoscopic accessories,and an advanced electrosurgical unit have helped to overcome the limitations of therapeutic endoscopy in terms of lesion size,location,presence of fibrotic scarring,and accompanying *** a result,the indications for ESD have been expanded from the classical indication for EMR and polypectomy,and there is now support for a further expansion of ESD *** present,the most critical factor to consider in the decision of whether to perform ESD is the probability of unexpected lymph node *** guidelines for ESD are continually being updated and *** this review,we discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the expanded guidelines,based on evidence found in the literature.

Objective:The aim of this study is to compare the effect of Vitamin D and Vitamin E supplementations,alone,and in combination,on reducing the intensity and duration of dysmenorrhea in women who were referred to the Kowsar gynecological clinics of Shahid Motahari Hospital of Urmia University of Medical *** and Methods:A double-blinded clinical trial was conducted on 112 women with dysmenorrhea who were randomly allocated into the four study ***,100 women complete the study and received capsules containing a placebo(n=25),1000 IU of Vitamin D(n=25),400 mg of Vitamin E(n=25),and 1000 IU of Vitamin D+400 mg of Vitamin E(n=25)every 24 h for 2 consecutive months at the beginning of the menstrual *** pain intensity and duration among groups were compared before and after the ***:The mean menstrual pain duration in all three experimental groups(Vitamin E,Vitamin D,and the combination of them)was lower than the placebo group(all P<0.05),and the mean pain intensity scores in all three experimental groups were significantly lower than the placebo group(all P<0.05).The results(means)for all of the drugs administered at the end of the 2nd month were better than the 1st month(all P<0.01).Conclusions:Vitamin E and Vitamin D,as well as their combination,are recommended as an effective and safe treatment for the management of the complications of dysmenorrhea.

In this letter, a simple monopole antenna with variable band-notched characteristic for ultra wide band (UWB) function is proposed. Two L-shaped quarter-waveguide resonators coupled to the ground plane with two shorting tracks at the sides of the antenna are used to generate stop-band performance around 5.5 GHz (WLAN). The proposed antenna is fabricated on the substrate FR4 (relative permittivity of 4.7) and has a compact size of 16 × 28.5 × 1.6 mm. The designed antenna has a good impedance matching in 3.1 - 11.4 GHz frequency range with VSWR < 2, except the band 5 - 5.85 GHz.

本研究是在参观斯里兰卡干旱地区后提出的。经过三十年的内战，那里的人们拥有很少的清洁水资源。他们没有足够的技术和财力去进行地下水净化，导致了那里的居民生活在一个较恶劣的环境中。因此，这些人更容易染上疾病，如氟中毒、细菌感染和砷中毒等，但是他们没有别的选择，此外，他们也从未考虑他们的安全问题。基于偏远和贫穷的现状，研究可以应用于小规模层次的分散的和经济型的技术是很重要的。为了向当地的人们提供他们可以独自构建、操作和维护的技术，一个低成本和操作简单的方法是非常有必要的。在全国范围内提供经过太阳能蒸馏而得到的饮用水的方法是很有前景的，它可以充分利用海拔较高地区的太阳能。经证明，这种方法可以消除引用水中近乎任何类型的污染物（无机物和细菌）。最简单和持久的方法是使用被动式太阳能蒸馏器。但是这种方法的缺点是饮用水的日输出量很少（大概是2-4L/m2）。因此，为了提高日蒸馏效率，本文提出了一个主动式的太阳能蒸馏系统。在项目中，建立了一个主动式太阳能蒸馏单元的原型，它近乎可以从任何水源中提取出干净的饮用水。项目的重点是尽可能使用当地的，经济的和可回收的材料，目的是降低成本，获取较高的关注度和提高在农村地区能够自主构建该系统的可能性。因此这个装置相对来说比较便宜，方便维护和只依赖可再生的太阳能资源。在系统中，需要一个抛物线型太阳能槽和一个定制的蒸馏装置。来自太阳的辐射通过抛物线型槽被聚焦到真空管接收器中，然后通过它加热输入的含杂质的水，含杂质的水被喷入一个定制的蒸馏装置，并在装置中蒸发，最后在冷却管中冷凝为纯净水。在项目地区的气候条件下，该应用设计的效率和蒸馏输出是非常令人满意的。平均每日的蒸馏量达到了10L/m2，这些水足够一个四口之家日饮用水供应。此外本文通过基本的传热方程计算系统的理论输出，并且将它们与实验结果进行比较。通过计算确定了项目的制造和建设成本。最后通过使用酸度计测量了蒸馏水的酸碱度，测量结果显示正常。最后，伴随着全球的技术扩张，水污染将不断加剧，文中提出的主动式太阳能蒸馏装置的建设将会是非常有必要的和非常有前景的。

Geochemical, Sedimentological and Mineralogical Characterization of Surficial Sediments in Eynak Marsh (North of Iran)

A multidisciplinary study of the sedimentology, geochemistry and mineralogy has been conducted to understand the linkage between marsh and alluvial sediments and also their potential sources in Eynak marsh, North of Iran. The influence of the upstream potential sources on recent sediment geochemistry has been discussed based on geochemical, sedimentological and mineralogical results. A spatial grain size distribution study was carried out to investigate the hydrodynamic and deposition system of the marsh. So, the surficial sediment sampling was carried out to describe the sedimentological parameters and elemental geochemistry of sediments in Eynak marsh. Mineralogical complexes are mainly made up of felsic minerals such as quartz, calcite, feldspar, pyrite, mica, and clay minerals (in very low values) indicated by high amounts of Al, Ca, and Ni. As expected, the mineralogy of sediments is controlled mainly by the rock formations. Also sediment textures are controlled by the hydrodynamic condition in the marsh. So its distribution has been influenced by distance from the entrance sediments to Eynak marsh. The results showed that there are no enrichments related to fine grain sediment distributions. An association of Al with the trace elements such as Sc, Y, La, Ce, and Zr indicates that their distributions are mainly controlled by the felsic rocks in the upstream. On the other side, due to the waste water entrance to the marsh, Ni and Pb concentration could be under the effects of anthropogenic activities around the marsh. Results represented high values for Mn concentration (min 462, max 1784 and average 1037 ppm) and it showed a significant correlation with Ca, Sr, and Mg. A redox habitat and constantly calm hydrodynamic circumstance in the study area, likely cause high concentration of Ca, Sr, and Mg, and Mn. And they are representing negative correlations with some elements such as Al, Be, Fe, K, and Na.
