Objective: To determine the prevalence of colonization and transmission of carbapenem-resistant Gram-negative organisms in order to develop of an effective infection prevention program. Design: Cross-sectional study with carbapenem-resistant organisms (CRO) colonization detection from the fecal specimens of 20 Health Care Workers (HCWs) and 67 residents and 175 random environment specimens from September 2022 to September 2023. Setting: A Care and Protection Centre of Orphaned Children in South of HCM City. Participants: It included 20 HCWs, 67 residents, and 175 randomly collected environmental specimens. Method: Rectal and environmental swabs were collected from 20 HCWs, 67 residents (most of them were children), and 175 environmental specimens. MELAB Chromogenic CARBA agar plates, Card NID, and NMIC-500 CPO of the BD Phoenix tm Automated Microbiology System and whole genome sequencing (WGS) were the tests to screen, confirm CROs, respectively and determine CRO colonization and transmission between HCWs, residents, and the environment. Result: We detected 36 CRO isolates, including 6, 11 and 19 CROs found in 6 HCWs, 10 residents and 19 environments. The prevalence of detectable CRO was 30% (6/20) in HCWs, 14.92% (10/67) in residents, and 10.86% (19/175) in environmental swabs in our study. WGS demonstrated CRO colonization and transmission with the clonal spread of E. coli and A. nosocomialis, among HCWs and residents (children). Conclusion: Significant CRO colonization and transmission was evident in HCWs, residents, and the center environment. Cleaning and disinfection of the environment and performing regular hand hygiene are priorities to reduce the risk of CRO colonization and transmission.

Water level predictions in the river,lake and delta play an important role in flood *** year Mekong River delta of Vietnam is experiencing flood due to heavy monsoon rains and high *** subsidence may also aggravate flooding problems in this ***,accurate predictions of water levels in this region are very important to forewarn the people and authorities for taking timely adequate remedial measures to prevent losses of life and *** are so many methods available to predict the water levels based on historical data but nowadays Machine Learning(ML)methods are considered the best tool for accurate *** this study,we have used surface water level data of 18 water level measurement stations of the Mekong River delta from 2000 to 2018 to build novel time-series Bagging based hybrid ML models namely:Bagging(RF),Bagging(SOM)and Bagging(M5P)to predict historical water levels in the study *** of the Bagging-based hybrid models were compared with Reduced Error Pruning Trees(REPT),which is a benchmark ML *** data of 19 years period was divided into 70:30 ratio for the *** data of the period 1/2000 to 5/2013(which is about 70%of total data)was used for the training and for the period 5/2013 to 12/2018(which is about 30%of total data)was used for testing(validating)the *** of the models was evaluated using standard statistical measures:Coefficient of Determination(R2),Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)and Mean Absolute Error(MAE).Results show that the performance of all the developed models is good(R2>0.9)for the prediction of water levels in the study ***,the Bagging-based hybrid models are slightly better than another model such as ***,these Bagging-based hybrid time series models can be used for predicting water levels at Mekong data.

Surface Mapping of Resistive Switching CrO_x Thin Films

In this work, we investigated resistive switching behavior of CrOx thin films grown by using sputtering technique. Conventional I-V measurements obtained from Ag/CrOx/Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si structures depict the bipolar switching behavior, which is controlled by formation/dissolution processes of Ag conducting filaments through electrochemical redox reaction under external electric field driven. Conductive atomic force microscopy (C-AFM) technique provides the valuable mapping images of existing Ag filaments at low resistance state as well as the characteristics of filament distributions and diameters. This study also reveals that where the higher amplitude of topography is, the easier possibility of forming conducting filament paths is on CrOx surface films.

Conductivity s and thermal conductivity k are directly related to carrier concentration while Seebeck coefficient S is inversely proportional to carrier ***,improving thermoelectric(TE)performance is ***,the first-time analysis of secondary phase-controlled TE performance in terms of density-of-state effective mass m*d,weighted mobility mw and quality factor B is discussed in ZnO *** results show that the secondary spinel phase Ga2O_(3)(ZnO)9 not only impacts on k but also on s and S at high temperature,while the effect of carrier concentration seem to be dominant at low *** the high-spinel-segregation sample,a compensation of dopant atoms from the spinel to substitutional sites in the ZnO matrix at high temperature leads to a low decreased rate of temperaturedependent m**** compensation process also induces a band sharpening,a small mw reduction,and a large B *** a result,In and Ga co-doped ZnO bulk with the highest spinel segregation achieves the greatest PF improvement by 112.8%,owing to enhanced Seebeck coefficient by 110%as compared to the good Zn-substitution sample.

越南语受三种语言的影响最深:汉语;泰语;蒙高棉语。虽然越南语属于南亚语系,汉语属于汉藏语系,但从表面上汉语和越南语有很多共同点。也是因为不同的语言系统导致各个语言的个性。在平常生活交流当中,疑问句担当很重要的作用,是在语言系统最基本的句式之一。因为每个语言有自己的特征,导致越南学生在学习汉语疑问句的过程中难免遇到一些难点,尤其是有疑而问句子。因此,我选择这个题目来研究,研究对象是汉、越语口语中疑问句的语法形式,利用对比研究方法,帮助越南学生更加掌握汉语疑问句。希望本人的研究结果有助于越南学生有效地运用汉语疑问句。除了绪论和结语以外,本文这主要包括五部分:第一章概述汉、越语是非疑问句的定义,将汉、越语是非疑问句的提问手段与句子结构以及回答方式进行对比,并且指出它们之间的异同。第二章概述汉、越语特指疑问句的定义,将两者的疑问代词进行对比分析,并且讨论到汉语特指疑问句语气词“呢”、“啊”与越南语特指疑问句句尾语气词的异同。最终指出汉、越语特指疑问句的相同点和不同点。第三章说名选择疑问句的定义、汉语和越南语中的关联词,从特点与结构方面将汉、越语选择疑问句进行对比,指出异同之处。第四章对汉语正反问句与越南语“用疑问副词的是非疑问句”进行比较分析。第五章针对越南学生学习汉语疑问句的难点,并且提出一些教学策略。

Biotic and abiotic factors control aboveground biomass(AGB)and the structure of forest *** study analyses the variation of AGB and stand structure of evergreen broadleaved forests among six ecoregions of Vietnam.A data set of 1731-ha plots from 52 locations in undisturbed old-growth forests was *** results indicate that basal area and AGB are closely correlated with annual precipitation,but not with annual temperature,evaporation or hours of *** area and AGB are positively correlated with trees>30 cm *** areas surveyed(52.6%)in these old-growth forests had AGB of 100–200 Mg ha^-1;5.2%had AGB of 400–500 Mg ha^-1,and 0.6%had AGB of>800 Mg ha^-*** percent of the areas surveyed had stand densities of 300–600 ***^-1,and 64%had basal areas of 20–40 m^2 ha^-*** is an important factor influencing the AGB of old-growth,evergreen broadleaved forests in *** causing the loss of large-diameter trees(e.g.,>100 cm DBH)affects AGB but may not seriously affect stand density.

Objective With few studies investigating the effectiveness of telemedicine(tm)in pediatric otolaryngology(ear,nose,and throat;ENT),its role in clinical practice is *** objective of this study was to investigate provider perspectives regarding utility of tm in pediatric ENT *** A survey gauging the relative merits of tm visits for common pediatric ENT chief complaints and postoperative visits was distributed to all pediatric ENT providers at a tertiary care,free-standing children’s *** were asked to assess the effectiveness of tm visits compared with in-person visits for completing the following tasks:history collection,physical examination,medical decision-making,and patient *** Providers rated tm visits as less useful than in-person visits for completing the most predefined tasks but did identify advantages in history taking via tm for the majority of *** with providers with≥10 years of experience,those withtm to be more effective than the in-person appointment for making clinical decisions for patients presenting with recurrent/chronic pharyngitis,neck masses,and stridor/noisy *** regarding the utility of tm for postoperative visits were mixed,with adenoidectomy,tonsillectomy and superficial procedures being most frequently deemed appropriate for *** The introduction of tm to pediatric ENT faces limitations in detailed examination of areas not accessible without specialized *** to its strength in history taking,results suggest an asynchronous,‘store and forward’encounter followed by an in-person physical examination to confirm the diagnosis and treatment plan could be beneficial.

Trust is one of the core components of any ad hoc network security *** management(tm)has always been a challenging issue in a vehicular *** such developing network is the Internet of vehicles(IoV),which is expected to be an essential part of smart *** originated from the merger of Vehicular ad hoc networks(VANET)and the Internet of things(IoT).Security is one of the main barriers in the on-road IoV *** security standards are insufficient to meet the extremely dynamic and rapidly changing IoV *** plays a vital role in ensuring security,especially during vehicle to vehicle *** networks,having a unique nature among other wireless ad hoc networks,require dedicated efforts to develop trust *** tm schemes are inflexible and *** scenarios and limited parameters are the basis for existing tm models that are not suitable for vehicle *** vehicular network requires agile and adaptive solutions to ensure security,especially when it comes to critical *** vehicle network’s wireless nature increases its attack surface and exposes the network to numerous security ***,internet involvement makes it more vulnerable to *** proposed tm framework is based on context-based cognition and machine learning to be best suited to IoV *** learning is the best solution to utilize the big data produced by vehicle *** handle the uncertainty Bayesian machine learning statistical model is *** proposed framework can adapt scenarios dynamically and infer using the maximum possible parameter *** results indicated better performance than existing tm ***,for future work,a high-level machine learning model is proposed.

Environmental and External Costs of Yali Hydropower Plant and Policy Recommendations in Vietnam

The purpose of this study is to estimate the monetary value of the main environmental and external costs of Yali Hydropower Plant (YHPP) and to incorporate them into the financial viability indices of the plant, namely its net present value and electricity price. The results were found that if the electricity price is kept at its original level of 5.2 US cents/kWh to cover direct costs only, the net present value of the plant would be reduced to about 27% by incorporating environmental and external costs. Alternatively, the electricity price would have to be increased to 5.68 US cents/kWh in order to cover the full costs of YHPP and to maintain the original net present value. The main policy recommendations are: Government regulations should require that the financial analysis and appraisal of all future electricity sources include the full cost of these schemes, including not only direct costs but also environmental and external costs related to preventing or mitigating the environmental impact caused by them. An appropriate financial mechanism should be established to allocate the revenue from full cost electricity pricing to a fund to cover the environmental protection and compensation costs.
