Asymptotic theory for the circuit envelope analysis is developed in this paper.A typical feature of circuit envelope analysis is the existence of two significantly distinct timescales:one is the fast timescale of carrier wave,and the other is the slow timescale of modulation *** first perform pro forma asymptotic analysis for both the driven and autonomous *** resorting to the Floquet theory of periodic operators,we make a rigorous justification for first-order asymptotic *** turns out that these asymptotic results are valid at least on the slow *** speed up the computation of asymptotic approximations,we propose a periodization technique,which renders the possibility of utilizing the NUFFT *** experiments are presented,and the results validate the theoretical findings.

The deformation structure of soft sediments has always been a research hotspot,which is of great significance for analyzing the tectonic and sedimentary evolution background of a basin,as well as the physical properties of *** studies have reported that a large number of soft sediment deformation structures are developed in the western part of Liaohe *** this study,through core observation and thin section identification,various types of deformation structures are identified in the core samples which are collected from the upper Es4 in the Leijia region,western sag of Liaohe depression,such as liquefied dikes,liquefied breccia,convoluted laminae,annular bedding,synsedimentary faults,vein structures,*** on the characteristics of core structure,single well profile and continuous well profile,combined with the regional background,this study clarifies that the deformation structure of soft sediments in the study area is mainly caused by seismic *** is found that the permeability and porosity of deformation layers in the study area are higher than those of the undeformation layers,which proves that the deformation structure of soft sediments has a good effect on improving the physical properties of reservoirs.

By simply switching the electrical circuit installed on steel/steel contact,the tribological behaviors of nanofluids(NFs)can be regulated in real time,thereby achieving the desired performance of friction reduction and wear ***,solvent-free carbon spherical nanofluids(C-NFs)were successfully prepared for intelligent lubrication regulation.C-NFs with excellent lubrication performance can immediately reduce the coefficient of friction(COF)despite applying a weak electric potential(1.5 V).Moreover,polyethylene glycol 400(PEG400)containing 5.0 wt%C-NFs remained responsive to electrical stimulation under the intermittent voltage application with an average coefficient of friction(ACOF)reduction of 20.8%over *** intelligent lubrication regulation of C-NFs under an external electric field(EEF)mainly depends on the orderly arranged double-electric adsorption film of ion canopy-adsorbed carbon spheres(CSs).The intermittent electrical application can continuously reinforce the adsorption film and its durability for real-time controlling the sliding ***-stimulation-responsive intelligent lubricants provide a new technical support for realizing intelligent stepless control of devices.

Controlling underestimation bias in reinforcement learning via minmax operation

Obtaining the accurate value estimation and reducing the estimation bias are the key issues in reinforcement ***,current methods that address the overestimation problem tend to introduce underestimation,which face a challenge of precise decision-making in many *** address this issue,we conduct a theoretical analysis of the underestimation bias and propose the minmax operation,which allow for flexible control of the estimation ***,we select the maximum value of each action from multiple parallel state-action networks to create a new state-action value ***,a minimum value is selected to obtain more accurate value ***,based on the minmax operation,we propose two novel algorithms by combining Deep Q-Network(DQN)and Double DQN(DDQN),named minmax-DQN and ***,we conduct theoretical analyses of the estimation bias and variance caused by our proposed minmax operation,which show that this operation significantly improves both underestimation and overestimation biases and leads to the unbiased ***,the variance is also reduced,which is helpful to improve the network training ***,we conduct numerous comparative experiments in various environments,which empirically demonstrate the superiority of our method.

This review presents a summary of the research conducted thus far on the recovery of various types of valuable metals from red mud. The composition, properties, environmental hazards, and current status of comprehensive utilization of red mud were studied. A number of studies have been conducted on the use of red mud as a modifying additive for cement, the development of various catalysts based on red mud, and the recovery of various valuable metals from red mud. Furthermore, we examine several techniques for extracting various types of valuable metals from red mud, including pyrometallurgical recovery, wet leaching recovery, and emerging biobased technology recovery. We investigate the underlying principles, processes, research progress, and the potential for industrial application of these methods, and assess the advantages and disadvantages of each from the perspectives of economic and environmental benefits. Although these methods have certain disadvantages, in general, the recovery of various types of valuable metals from red mud is an effective way to solve the problem of red mud and the supply of metal raw materials. In conclusion, this paper presents an overview of the current state of red mud development and utilization, as well as the various methods employed for the recovery of valuable metals from red mud.

Comparisons of Wave Force Model Effects on the Structural Responses and Fatigue Loads of a Semi-Submersible Floating Wind Turbine

The selection of wave force models will significantly impact the structural responses of floating wind *** this study,comparisons of wave force model effects on the structural responses and fatigue loads of a semi-submersible floating wind turbine(SFWT)were *** were performed by employing the Morison equation(ME)with linear or second-order wave kinematics and potential flow theory(PFT)with first-or second-order wave forces.A comparison of regular waves,irregular waves,and coupled wind/waves analyses with the experimental data showed that many of the simulation results and experimental data are relatively ***,notable discrepancies are found in the response amplitude operators for platform heave,tower base bending moment,and tension in mooring *** models give more satisfactory results of heave but more significant discrepan-cies in tower base bending moment than the ME *** irregular wave analyses,low-frequency resonances were captured by PFT models with second-order difference-frequency terms,and high-frequency resonances were captured by the ME models or PFT models with second-order sum-frequency *** force models capture the response frequencies but do not reasonably predict the response *** coupled wind/waves analyses showed more satisfactory results than the wave-only ***,an important detail to note is that this satisfactory result is based on the overprediction of wind-induced responses.

High alumina fly ash(FAHAl)is a kind of bulk solid waste unique to China,whose availability of high-value aluminum and the threat to the environment makes its high-value utilization *** this work,the alumina containing leaching solution obtained from Na_(2)CO_(3) roasting and HCl leaching of FAHAl was used as the mother liquor to prepare layered boehmite in *** preparation process with AlCl_(3) as the raw material was also *** formation process and mechanism of boehmite,the choice of solvent,along with the adsorption capability of Congo red were analyzed by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method and adsorption *** showed that during the preparation of layered boehmite,the precursor Al(OH)_(3) from the reaction of Al^(3+) and OH-is transformed into boehmiteγ-*** existence of ethanol is beneficial to regulate and promote the growth of boehmite crystal *** water and ethanol are mixed with a volume ratio of 2:1 and used as the solvent,the maximum specific surface area of the boehmite is obtained at 135.7 m^(2)·g^(-1),and 99.16%of Congo red can be absorbed after 10 min when AlCl3 is used as a raw *** purified leaching solution is used as the mother liquid,the crystallinity of boehmite decreases slightly when the pH value decreases from 12.5 to *** pH is 11,the removal efficiency of Congo red reaches a maximum of 72.25%.This process not only achieves the extraction of aluminum and high-value utilization of FAHAl but also provides a thought to prepare layered boehmite with adsorption properties.

As a promising candidate for the next generation energy storage system,rechargeable lithium-oxygen batteries(LOBs)still face substantial challenges caused by insulating discharge products that preclude their practical *** highly efficient cathode catalysts capable of facilitating formation/decomposition of discharge products is considered as an essential approach towards high performance ***,Pd decorated Te nanowires(Pd@Te NWs)were synthesized as advanced catalyst in LOBs to maximize Pd utilization and achieve synergistic effect,in which Pd clusters were uniformly grown on Te substrate though regulating the Pd:Te ***,Pd@Te nanowires assembled into an interpenetrating network-like structure by vacuum filtration and employed as flexible cathode,enabling LOBs achieved an ultralong 190 cycles stability and a superior specific capacity of 3.35 mAh·cm^(-2).Experimental studies and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal the excellent catalytic ability of Pd@Te and synergistic catalytic mechanism of Pd and Te,in which uniform electron distribution,extensive electron exchange,and large adsorption distance between Pd cluster and discharge products promote homogeneous adsorption/desorption of discharge products,while the high adsorption energy of Te substrate for Li species reduces the initial dynamical energy barrier during discharging *** current work provides viable strategy to design composite catalysts for flexible cathode of LOBs with synergistic catalytic effects.
