Great progress has been made in the electrochromic(EC)technology with potential applications in various *** one of the most promising EC materials,Prussian blue(PB)has attracted great attention due to its excellent EC performance,such as low cost,easy synthesis,rich color states,chemical stability,suitable redox potential,and fast color-switching *** review summarizes the recent progress in PB electrodes and devices,including several typical preparation techniques of PB electrodes,as well as the recent key strategies for enhancing EC performance of PB ***,PB-based electrochromic devices(ECDs)have been widely used in various fields,such as smart windows,electrochromic energy storage devices(EESDs),wearable electronics,smart displays,military camouflage,and other *** opportunities and obstacles are suggested for advancing the development of PB-based *** comprehensive review is expected to offer valuable insights for the design and fabrication of sophisticated PBbased ECDs,enabling their practical integration into realworld applications.

Based on the domain reduction method,this study employs an SEM-FEM hybrid workflow which integrates the advantages of the spectral element method(SEM)for flexible and highly efficient simulation of seismic wave propagation in a three-dimensional(3D)regional-scale geophysics model and the finite element method(FEM)for fine simulation of structural response including soil-structure interaction,and performs a physics-based simulation from initial fault rupture on an ancient wood *** verification of the hybrid workflow,a large-scale model of an ancient wood structure in the Beijing area,The Tower of Buddhist Incense,is established and its responses under the 1665 Tongxian earthquake and the 1730 Yiheyuan earthquake are *** results from the simulated ground motion and seismic response of the wood structure under the two earthquakes demonstrate that this hybrid workflow can be employed to efficiently provide insight into the relationships between geophysical parameters and the structural response,and is of great significance toward accurate input for seismic simulation of structures under specific site and fault conditions.

The aim of this work is to develop a venlafaxine hydrochloride sustained release system based on hollow mesoporous silica microspheres(HMSMs).HMSMs were innovatively prepared with tetraethyl silicate(TEOS)as the precursor and volatile n-heptane as a soft *** obtained HMSMs show a well-defined hollow structure with an average size of 967 nm and pore volume of 0.85 cm^(3)/g,implying it is a potential drug ***,venlafaxine hydrochloride(VF)was absorbed in the HMSMs with a content of 37.67% or *** sustained release effect is further measured by the dissolution in-strument at 37℃ and 50 rpm in ultrapure *** results showed that the HMSMs/VF system shows good sustained release properties compared with sustained release tablets with hydroxypropyl meth-ylcellulose as the main *** HMSMs sustained release system appears to be a promising candidate for a sustained drug release.

Photochromic radical states in 3D covalent organic frameworks with zyg topology for enhanced photocatalysis

Covalent-organic frameworks（COFs） with photoinduced donor-acceptor（D-A） radical pairs show enhanced photocatalytic activity in principle. However, achieving long-lived charge separation in COFs proves challenging due to the rapid charge recombination. Here, we develop a novel strategy by combining[6 + 4] nodes to construct zyg-type 3D COFs, first reported in COF chemistry. This structure type exhibits a fused Olympic-rings-like shape, which provides a platform for stabilizing the photoinduced D-A radical pairs. The zyg-type COFs containing catalytically active moieties such as triphenylamine and phenothiazine（PTZ） show superior photocatalytic production rates of hydrogen peroxide（H2O2）. Significantly, the photochromic radical states of these COFs show up to 400% enhancement in photocatalytic activity compared to the parent states, achieving a remarkable H2O2synthesis rate of 3324 μmol g-1h-1, which makes the PTZ-COF one of the best crystalline porous photocatalysts in H2O2production. This work will shed light on the synthesis of efficient 3D COF photocatalysts built on topologies that can facilitate photogenerating D-A radical pairs for enhanced photocatalysis.
