In this study,a CO_(2) capture material in the form of liquid-like adsorbents(LLAs) is developed to overcome the limitations of conventional types of *** increase in indoor activities necessitates the capture of CO_(2) in enclosed indoor *** spaces require safe and stable materials for CO_(2) capture because humans are present in these *** adsorbents are mainly used because liquid absorbents are unsuitable owing to noise and scattering *** LLA,the liquid absorbent assembled by carbon nanotubes(CNTs) is solidified and prevented from flowing and scattering *** present to maintain 95% of initial capacity after recycling 20 times,and have characteristics that can be regenerated in a low temperature heat source(80 to 120℃) and moisture *** work not only provides indoor useable CO_(2) capture materials,but also offers a new prospect in the field of adsorbents.

Microstructure and texture of Ti-Nb-Si based alloys, prepared by water quenching from β-phase field, cold rolling and recrystallization heat treatment followed by water quenching, were investigated in terms of optical microstructure and analysis of X-ray pole figure result. In as-quenched sample, relatively random distribution of pole figure was detected without showing a specific texture component. In as-cold rolled sample, however, it is found well-developed several texture components consisting of rotated cube, α-fiber and γ-fiber texture components which are frequently observed in bcc-structured metals and alloys were found. Therefore, texture components developed in the present alloys are closely related to the deformation of β-phase even though small amount of α″ phase co-exist in the microstructure. In recrystallized sample, α-fiber texture component is weakly detected while the other texture components, rotated cube and γ-fiber components, appears to be relatively unchanged. No additional texture components were detected besides those texture components observed in the cold rolled samples.

With the advancement of wireless network technology,vast amounts of traffic have been generated,and malicious traffic attacks that threaten the network environment are becoming increasingly *** signature-based detection methods,static analysis,and dynamic analysis techniques have been previously explored for malicious traffic detection,they have limitations in identifying diversified malware traffic *** research has been focused on the application of machine learning to detect these ***,applying machine learning to lightweight devices like IoT devices is challenging because of the high computational demands and complexity involved in the learning *** this study,we examined methods for effectively utilizing machine learning-based malicious traffic detection approaches for lightweight *** introduced the suboptimal feature selection model(SFSM),a feature selection technique designed to reduce complexity while maintaining the effectiveness of malicious traffic *** performance was evaluated on various malicious traffic,benign,exploits,and generic,using the UNSW-NB15 dataset and SFSM sub-optimized hyperparameters for feature selection and narrowed the search scope to encompass all *** improved learning performance while minimizing complexity by considering feature selection and exhaustive search as two steps,a problem not considered in conventional *** experimental results showed that the detection accuracy was improved by approximately 20%compared to the random model,and the reduction in accuracy compared to the greedy model,which performs an exhaustive search on all features,was kept within 6%.Additionally,latency and complexity were reduced by approximately 96%and 99.78%,respectively,compared to the greedy *** study demonstrates that malicious traffic can be effectively detected even in lightweight device *** verified the possibility of detecting various attack

We aimed to analyze the value of each criterion for clinically insignificant prostate cancer （PCa） in the selection of men for active surveillance （AS） of low-risk PCa. We identified 532 men who were treated with radical prostatectomy from 2006 to 2013 who met 4 or all 5 of the criteria for clinically insignificant PCa （clinical stage 〈 T1, prostate specific antigen [PSA] density 0.15, biopsy Gleason score 〈 6, number of positive biopsy cores 〈 2, and no core with 〉 50% involvement） and analyzed their pathologic and biochemical outcomes. Patients who met all 5 criteria for clinically insignificant PCa were designated as group A （n -- 172）, and those who met 4 of 5 criteria were designated as group B （n = 360）. The association of each criterion with adverse pathologic features was assessed via logistic regression analyses. Comparison of group A and B and also logistic regression analyses showed that PSA density 0.15 ng ml-1 and high （〉7） biopsy Gleason score were associated with adverse pathologic features. Higher （〉 Tlc） clinical stage was not associated with any adverse pathologic features. Although 〈 3 positive cores were not associated with any adverse pathology, 〉4 positive cores were associated with higher risk of extracapsular extension. Among potential candidates for AS, PSA density ~ 0.15 ng ml-~ and biopsy Gleason score ~ 6 pose significantly higher risks of harboring more aggressive disease. The eligibility criteria for AS may be expanded to include men with clinical stage T2 tumor and 3 positive cores.

We experimentally demonstrate a femtosecond mode-locked thulium-holmium（Tm-Ho） co-doped fiber laser incorporating a saturable absorber（SA） based on a bulk-structured bismuth selenide（Bi2Se3） topological insulator（TI）. The SA was prepared by depositing a mechanically exfoliated Bi2Se3 TI layer onto a side-polished optical fiber platform. Unlike high-quality nano-structured Bi2Se3 TI-based SA, bulk-structured Bi2Se3 with non-negligible oxidation was used as a saturable absorption material for this experimental demonstration due to its easy fabrication process. The saturation power and modulation depth of the prepared SA were measured to be -28.6 W and -13.4%, respectively. By incorporating the prepared SA into a Tm-Ho co-doped fiber ring cavity, stable soliton pulses with a temporal width of - 853 fs could be generated at 1912.12 nm. The 3-dB bandwidth of the mode-locked pulse was measured to be -4.87 nm. This experimental demonstration reaffirms that Bi2Se3 is a superb base material for mid-infrared passive mode-locking even under oxidation.

For recent decades, a considerable amount of 99mTc has been stimulated for diagnosis radiopharmaceuticals because of its physical advantages. The increase in the use of 99mTc makes naturally more chances of internal exposure for not only patients but also medical workers. The patient internal exposure by an intravenous injection has been assessed relatively well with the reports of International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) or Medical Internal Radiation Dose(MIRD). However, there are few studies which can support its accurate assessment for medical worker who treats 99mTc. In spite of the absence of information, the physiological information of each 99mTc-labelled compound for patient, provided by ICRP, can be used optionally for worker exposure because the behaviors after uptake to blood are similar for patient and worker. Using the data, in this study, the data for bioassay were given as the intake whole-body retention and urinary excretion function. We selected the two most frequently used 99mTc-labelled compounds based on statistical data;99mTc-phosphonate, pertechnetate. The data of the Human Alimentary Tract Model (HATM, publication 100) and the revised Human Respiratory Tract Model (revised HRTM, OIR) were used for compartment models which depict the physiological behavior in body after intake. In case of 99mTc-phosphonate, we adopted the systemic model for patient intake described in ICRP publication 53 based on the assumption that the behaviors after uptake to blood are similar for patient and worker. On the other hand, recent updated systemic model in OIR report could be directly adopted for pertechnetate. We used Birchall's algorithm for calculation and developed the module which could calculate the retention amounts in each compartment at given time by MATLAB. A robotic fish, BASEMACK1, is designed and fabricated by mimicking the shape of a live mackerel. Three DC servo-motors are serially linked together and actuated to mimic the mackerel＇s Carangiform motion. Hydrodynamic characteristics of a fish-mimetic test model are experimentally identified and utilized in order to numerically simulate fish swimming. The discrete set of kinematic and dynamic parameters are obtained by considering required horizontal and lateral forces and minimum energy consumption. Using the optimized parameter set, optimal control of the robot is studied.

A highly crosslinked, monodispersed polystyrene（PS） particle was prepared by a seeded batch dispersion polymerization with a monomer absorption method. Prior to polymerization, 1,9 lam monodispersed PS seed particles were treated under an optimum condition of monomer absorption. The effects of divinylbenzebe（DVB） concentration and polymerization temperature were examined for styrene（in PS seed）/styrene（in the second stage） mass ratio of 1：1 in the medium range of EtOH/water mass ratio of 100/0-80/20 and 2.3 μm uniform crosslinked PS particles containing 15%-20% （mass fraction） DVB were prepared at 60-70 ℃. The results show that monomer absorption before the second stage of polymerization is more effective to prepare highly crosslinked monodispersed PS particles.
