Data security assurance is crucial due to the increasing prevalence of cloud computing and its widespread use across different industries,especially in light of the growing number of cybersecurity threats.A major and everpresent threat is Ransomware-as-a-Service(RaaS)assaults,which enable even individuals with minimal technical knowledge to conduct ransomware *** study provides a new approach for RaaS attack detection which uses an ensemble of deep learning *** this purpose,the network intrusion detection dataset“UNSWNB15”from the Intelligent Security Group of the University of New South Wales,Australia is *** the initial phase,the rectified linear unit-,scaled exponential linear unit-,and exponential linear unit-based three separate Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP)models are ***,using the combined predictive power of these three MLPs,the RansoDetect Fusion ensemble model is introduced in the suggested *** proposed ensemble technique outperforms previous studieswith impressive performance metrics results,including 98.79%accuracy and recall,98.85%precision,and 98.80%*** empirical results of this study validate the ensemble model’s ability to improve cybersecurity defenses by showing that it outperforms individual *** expanding the field of cybersecurity strategy,this research highlights the significance of combined deep learning models in strengthening intrusion detection systems against sophisticated cyber threats.

The Internet of Things(IoT)is growing rapidly and impacting almost every aspect of our lives,fromwearables and healthcare to security,traffic management,and fleet management *** has generated massive volumes of data and security,and data privacy risks are increasing with the advancement of technology and network *** access control solutions are inadequate for establishing access control in IoT systems to provide data protection owing to their vulnerability to single-point OF ***,conventional privacy preservation methods have high latency costs and overhead for resource-constrained *** machine learning approaches were also unable to detect denial-of-service(DoS)*** study introduced a novel decentralized and secure framework for blockchain *** avoid single-point OF failure,an accredited access control scheme is incorporated,combining blockchain with local peers to record each transaction and verify the signature to ***-based attribute-based cryptography is implemented to protect data storage privacy by generating threshold parameters,managing keys,and revoking users on the *** innovative contract-based DOS attack mitigation method is also incorporated to effectively validate devices with intelligent contracts as trusted or untrusted,preventing the server from becoming *** proposed framework effectively controls access,safeguards data privacy,and reduces the risk of *** results depict that the suggested framework outperforms the results in terms of accuracy,precision,sensitivity,recall,and F-measure at 96.9%,98.43%,98.8%,98.43%,and 98.4%,respectively.

We investigate the time evolution of quantum correlations of a hybrid qubit-qutrit system under the classical Ornstein-Uhlenbeck(OU) noise. Here we consider two different one-parameter families of qubit-qutrit states which independently interact with the non-Markovian reservoirs. A comparison with the Markovian dynamics reveals that for the same set of initial condition parameters, the non-Markovian behavior of the environment plays an important role in the enhancement of the survival time of quantum correlations. In addition, it is observed that the non-Markovian strength(γ/Γ) has a positive impact on the correlations time. For the initial separable states it is found that there is a finite time interval in which the geometric quantum discord is frozen despite the presence of a noisy environment and that interval can be further prolonged by using the non-Markovian property. Moreover, its decay can be significantly delayed.

Recycled steel fiber reinforced concrete is an innovative construction material that offers exceptional mechanical properties and *** is considered a sustainable material due to its low carbon footprint and environmental friendly *** study examines the key influencing factors that affect the behavior of this material,such as the steel fiber volume ratio,recycled aggregate replacement rate,concrete strength grade,anchorage length,and stirrup *** study investigates the bond failure morphology,bond-slip,and bond strength constitutive relationship of steel fiber recycled *** results show that the addition of steel fibers at 0.5%,1.0%,and 1.5%volume ratios can improve the ultimate bond strength of pull-out specimens by 9.05%,6.94%,and 5.52%,*** replacement rate of recycled aggregate has minimal effect on the typical bond strength of pull-out ***,the ultimate bond strengths of pull-out specimens with concrete strength grades C45 and C60 have improved compared to those with C30 *** specimens with longer anchorage lengths exhibit lower ultimate bond strength,with a reduction of 33.19%and 46.37%for anchorage lengths of 5D and 7D,respectively,compared to those without *** restraint of 1φ8 and 2φ8 improves the ultimate bond strength by 5.29%and 6.90%,*** fibers have a significant effect on the behavior of concrete after it cracks,especially during the stable expansion stage,crack instability expansion stage,and failure stage.

We study the tunneling time of ultracold V-type atoms interacting a high quality microwave cavity. Here atomic coherence is introduced in the system by a strong driving field which couples the two lower states of the three-level atom. It is found that in the presence of coherence, mazer action or the scattering like nature of the interaction may be examined for extended energies of the incident cold atoms. Our results show that position and amplitudes of the peak values of the phase time(traversal time) may be very effectively controlled by the coherent driving field. Further, here we obtained superclassical values of the phase time corresponding to much higher values of the transmission amplitudes of the tunneling atoms which may be advantageous in the possible experimental realization of the superclassical tunneling time of the traversing cold atoms. In addition, we examine a mirror reflection type symmetry in the phase time curve for a judicious choice of the external driving field.

Umbilical cord blood is the blood found in the vessels of the umbilical cord and placenta. It has been shown that this blood contains at least three populations of stem cells, each with unique features and properties. Due to the absence of standardized criteria for characterizing and naming cord blood stem cells, different terms and acronyms have been introduced to describe certain cell populations. Besides the confusion caused by the introduction of these different names, some of the terms used by different groups are inaccurate and misleading when considering the molecular and cellular properties of such cells. Hence, in this review we provide simple and direct descriptions of different populations of stem cells in umbilical cord blood in an attempt to clarify the confusion caused by the existence of multiple names given to certain cord blood stem cells. We also discuss the potential use of umbilical cord blood stem cells as a therapeutic tool for several diseases and disorders in light of ongoing clinical trials.

Design and Implementation of A Gamified Moodle System

Motivating student in a traditional way becomes a challenging task in these modern times where technology has a big role for the development of *** many academic institutions are moving to e-Learning and most of them are using Moodle as the Learning Management System（LMS）.Moodle provides numerous tools for learning management and *** supports uploading of course resources,creating quizzes,news forums,lessons,and ***,such tools present some limitations that prevent students from getting some benefits such as engagement and motivation which are very important for the improvement of student *** way of solving this problem is by developing a Moodle Learning system that implements gamification *** thesis proposes a Moodle system that uses gamification techniques to increase student engagement and enhance students’ *** tries to design a Gamified Moodle System by implementing a gamification layer from the existing Moodle learning *** achieve this,two plugins “Total Points” and “Leaderboard” have been designed,and one Moodle plugin “Level-up” has been plugged and *** system uses the concept of experience points as a key factor to increase motivation and *** provides experience points when the student interacts and/or attempting course *** also uses leaderboards,levels,ranks and progress bar information as a way to increase motivation,engagement and improve students’ *** survey results have shown that the Gamified Moodle System could be suitable e-learning software prototype for increasing motivation,engagements and improving students’ performance.

Increase in population growth and the associated activities have increased the nutrient input to the Lake Victoria through atmosphere and river discharge. Atmospheric input of nutrient is believed to exceed that of river discharge due to relatively higher contribution of water mass to the Lake from atmosphere. However, precipitation characteristics with respect to nutrients have not been well studied to allow qualification and quantification of atmospheric contribution to the Lake Victoria. This study was conducted to investigate influence of land use activities on spatial and temporal variation of nutrient inputs from atmosphere and to estimate atmospheric loading to the Lake Victoria. The results revealed that there is significant spatial and temporal variation of nutrient deposition in the study area. High concentrations of nutrients were observed during short rains starting from September to December. This was attributed to dissolution of nutrients from soil particals and ash residues due to biomass burning accumulated in the atmosphere during dry season of June to August. Spatial variation of nutrients reflects land use activities. Urban and peri-urban areas showed very high concentration of nitrate nitrogen due to industrial and vehicle emission while rural area showed high concentration of phosphorous species and reduced forms of nitrogen species reflecting agricultural activities and animal keeping. Generally, nutrient deposition load was higher in rural area compared to urban with respective values of 15.5 and 13.9 kg·haˉ1·yˉ1 for total nitrogen and 6.1 and 2.8 kg·haˉ1·yˉ1 for total phosphorous. These results suggest that in order to realize significant reduction of nutrient input to the Lake Victoria, measures should be taken to control agricultural activities through proper land use planning. The measure may be directed to reduce biomass burning, emission from industries and vehicle as well as animal residue.

为了分析赣西地区山羊肠道寄生虫病的发生规律,试验采集宜春市和萍乡市养殖场肉用山羊粪便,随机抽取羊粪312份,通过饱和蔗糖溶液漂浮法、甲醛-乙酸乙酯-改良抗酸染色法、卢戈氏碘液染色法及显微镜观察技术进行寄生虫的分离鉴定。结果表明：检查的312份粪样,寄生虫的总体及混合感染率分别为87.18%和30.77%,其中绦虫、隐孢子虫、吸虫的感染率较低,分别为4.17%、17.95%和20.51%,线虫及球虫的感染率较高,分别为57.05%和68.27%,没有检出寄生虫的仅40份。检查到的寄生虫种类有肝片吸虫、类圆线虫、前后盘吸虫、网尾线虫、莫尼茨绦虫、毛首线虫、艾美耳球虫、矛形歧腔吸虫,其中艾美耳球虫、类圆线虫和网尾线虫检出率较高。说明应加强对球虫和线虫这两种优势虫种的驱虫和防治工作。
