Flotation separation of scheelite from calcite using luteolin as a novel depressant

This paper proposes luteolin(luT)as a novel depressant for the flotation-based separation of scheelite and calcite in a sodium oleate(NaOl)*** suitability of luT as a calcite depressant is confirmed through micro-flotation *** pH=9,with luT concentration of 50 mg·l^(-1) and NaOl concentration of 50 mg·l^(-1),scheelite recovery reaches 80.3%.Calcite,on the other hand,exhibits a recovery rate of 17.6%,indicating a significant difference in floatability between the two ***,the surface modifica-tions of scheelite and calcite following luT treatment are characterized using adsorption capacity testing,Zeta potential analysis,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and atomic force microscopy(AFM).The study in-vestigates the selective depressant mechanism of luT on *** capacity testing and Zeta potential analysis demonstrate sub-stantial absorption of luT on the surface of calcite,impeding the further adsorption of sodium oleate,while its impact on scheelite is ***-IR and XPS analyses reveal the selective adsorption of luT onto the surface of calcite,forming strong chemisorption bonds between the hydroxyl group and calcium ions *** directly il.ustrates the distinct adsorption densities of luT on the two miner-al ***,luT can effectively serve as a depressant for calcite,enabling the successful separation of scheelite and calcite.

Hyperpolarized^(3)He nuclei have emerged as a significantly important approach in quantum precision measurement techniques,with extensive applications in fundamental physics,magnetometry,metrology,and *** this study,we report on the design and implementation of a^(3)He polarization system at the China Mianyang Research Reactor(CMRR),utilizing the metastabilityexchange optical pumping(MEOP)*** employed a Merritt coil system consisting of four square coils to furnish a uniform holding *** deployed a 2 W fiber laser to pump the metastable^(3)He atoms and conducted free induction decay(FID)detection of the polarized^(3)He nuclei using both pickup coil and optical *** the optical method,we used a50 m W linearly polarized distributed Bragg reflector(DBR)laser as the *** applied transverse light absorption polarimetry to measure the absolute nuclear polarization of the ground-state^(3)*** have developed cell fabrication capabilities at the CMRR,and cells at various pressures ranging from 100 to 1000 Pa have been fabricated and *** a typical borosilicate cell with 100 Pa pressure,the absolute polarization is measured as Pn≈70%,and the transverse relaxation time is estimated as T2≈0.5 ***,we constructed a few aluminosilicate cells,each carefully filled with pure^(3)He at a pressure of 100 ***,we conducted a comprehensive evaluation of their performance in the context of MEOP.

Graphene-based materials possess significant potential for the treatment of dye wastewater due to their exceptional adsorption properties toward stubborn ***,their utilization is hindered by high preparation costs,low yields,environmental pol.ution during synthesis,and challenges in regenerating the *** study proposes a novel approach to address these limitations by developing nitrogen-doped three-dimensional(3D)polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)crosslinked graphene sponges(N-PGA)using a cross-linking method with ammonium *** method offers a relatively mild,environmentally friendly *** carbonate serves as both a reducing and modifying agent,facilitating the formation of the intrinsic structure of N-PGA and acting as a nitrogen ***,PVA is utilized as the cross-linking *** results demonstrate that N-PGA exhibits a favorable internal 3D hierarchical porous structure and possesses robust mechanical *** measured specific surface area(BET)of N-PGA was as high as406.538 m^(2)·g^(-1),which was favorable for its efficient adsorption of Congo red(CR)dye *** an initial concentration of 50 mg·l^(-1),N-PGA achieved an impressive removal rate of 89.6%and an adsorption capacity of 112 mg·g^(-1)for CR ***,it retained 79%of its initial adsorption capacity after 10 cycles,demonstrating excellent regeneration *** summary,the synthesized N-PGA displays remarkable efficacy in the adsorption of CR dye in wastewater,opening up new possibilities for utilizing 3D porous graphene nanomaterials as efficient adsorbents in wastewater treatment.

High-quality and accurate precipitation estimations can be obtained by integrating precipitation information measures using ground-based and spaceborne radars in the same target *** the true precipitation state is a typical inverse problem for a given set of noisy radar precipitation *** regularization method can appropriately constrain the inverse problem to obtain a unique and stable *** different types of precipitation with different prior distributions,the l_(1) and l_(2) norms were more effective in constraining stratiform and convective precipitation,*** a combination of l_(1) and l_(2) norms,the Huber norm is more suitable for mixed precipitation *** study uses different regularization norms to combine precipitation data from the C-band dual-polarization ground radar(CDP)and dual-frequency precipitation radar(DPR)on the Global Precipitation Measurement(GPM)mission core *** to single-source radar data,the fused figures contain more information and present a comprehensive precipitation structure encompassing the reflectivity and precipitation *** 27 precipitation cases,the fusion results utilizing the Huber norm achieved a structural similarity index measure(SSIM)and a peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)of 0.8378 and 30.9322,respectively,compared with the CDP *** fusion results showed that the Huber norm effectively amalgamate the features of convective and stratiform precipitation,with a reduction in the mean absolute error(MAE;16.1%and 22.6%,respectively)and root-mean-square error(RMSE;11.7%and 13.6%,respectively)compared to the 1-norm and ***,in contrast to the fusion results of scale recursive estimation(SRE),the Huber norm exhibits superior capability in capturing the localized precipitation intensity and reconstructing the detailed features of precipitation.

Sensitive monitoring of the target products during the biosynthesis process is crucial,and facile analytical approaches are urgently ***,phosphatidylserine(PS)was chosen as the model target,a colorimetric aptasensor was developed for the rapid quantitation in biosynthesis samples.A chimeric aptamer was constructed with two homogeneous original PS *** recognition between the chimeric aptamer and PS results in the desorption of aptamer from the surface of the AuNPs nanozyme,and the peroxidase-like enzymatic activity of the AuNPs nanozyme was weakened in a relationship with the different *** developed aptasensor performed well when applied for analyzing PS in biosynthesis *** aptasensor offers good sensitivity and selectivity,under optimal conditions,achieving monitoring and quantitation of PS in the range of 2.5-80.0μmol/l,with a limit of detection at 536.2 nmol/***,the aptasensor provides good accuracy,with comparison rates of 98.17%-106.40%,when compared with the *** study provides a good reference for monitoring other biosynthesized products and promoting the development of aptamers and aptasensors in real-world applications.

Photoreceptor cell degeneration leads to blindness, for which there is currently no effective treatment. Our previous studies have shown that lycium barbarum(l. barbarum) polysaccharide(lBP) protects degenerated photoreceptors in rd1, a transgenic mouse model of retinitis pigmentosa. l. barbarum glycopeptide(lb GP) is an immunoreactive glycoprotein extracted from lBP. In this study, we investigated the potential protective effect of lb GP on a chemically induced photoreceptor-degenerative mouse model. Wild-type mice received the following: oral administration of lb GP as a protective pre-treatment on days 1–7;intraperitoneal administration of 40 mg/kg N-methylN-nitrosourea to induce photoreceptor injury on day 7;and continuation of orally administered lb GP on days 8–14. Treatment with lb GP increased photoreceptor survival and improved the structure of photoreceptors, retinal photoresponse, and visual behaviors of mice with photoreceptor degeneration. lb GP was also found to partially inhibit the activation of microglia in N-methyl-N-nitrosourea-injured retinas and significantly decreased the expression of two pro-inflammatory cytokines. In conclusion, lb GP effectively slowed the rate of photoreceptor degeneration in N-methyl-N-nitrosourea-injured mice, possibly through an anti-inflammatory mechanism, and has potential as a candidate drug for the clinical treatment of photoreceptor degeneration.
