In the absence of inorganic anion templates and in high pH condition(pH∼14),an unprecedented carbonate-hydrate supramolecule,[(CO_(3))_(2)(H_(2)O)]^(4−),trapped from atmospheric CO_(2),found to play an anion templating role to support the architecture of two related silver(Ag)nanoclusters(SD/Ag54a and SD/Ag55a),which are coprotected by the same organic ligands but differ by one silver atom of the metallic ***[(CO_(3))_(2)(H_(2)O)]^(4−)supramolecules are trapped into two Ag/tBuPhS/dppm pods,connected by a pair of face-shared silver pentagonal bipyramids(Ag_(11))into peanut-shaped silver ***,the equatorial Ag_(11) kernel represents a new embryonic ultrasmall silver nanocluster that is thought to follow a special facesharing growth fashion from pentagonal bipyramidal Ag7 subunit,which is also structurally elucidated in another new Ag44 nanocluster(SD/Ag44c)obtained in similar assembly system just changing tBuPhS−to iPrPhS−*** isolation of SD/Ag54a and SD/Ag55a were associated with:(1)supramolecule induction and(2)reductive and carbonate-rich assembly ***,this work brings a fresh perspective on the role of carbonate-water anion supramolecule in directing the assembly of silver ***,it realizes the control of reduction kinetics and kernel growth using multiple weak reductants and thiolate ***,it provides a possible face-shared growth route for ultrasmall silver nanoclusters.

Although inorganic anion templates are highly appreciated in the synthesis of nanosized silver clusters,supramolecular clusters used as templates to mold silver nanoclusters remain as-yet-unknown due to their existence as volatile forms in ***,we report the synthesis of a novel silver-thiolate nanocluster(SD/Ag58a),comprising an outer tetrahedral cage of 58 silver atoms and a central supramolecular cluster[CH_(3)OH@(SO_(4))_(4)(H_(2)O)6]8−(hereafter abbreviated as CS_(4)H_(6)).Ternary CS_(4)H_(6) cluster was constructed from an(SO_(4))_(4) tetrahedron encaging one CH_(3)OH molecule inside and six water molecules sitting between paired SO_(4)^(2−)ions to form the[SO_(4)…H_(2)O…SO_(4)]hydrogen bonds(H-bonds).Also,the CS4H6 could coordinate to the inner wall of the Ag58 cage by forming Ag-O bonds,exerting templating effect on the formation of SD/***,SD/Ag58a showed a photocurrent response upon visible light irradiation and emitted luminescence in the near-infrared(NIR)region at a cryogenic *** work exemplifies the ternary supramolecule templating effect in the construction of silver nanocluster and facilitates understanding of the structure of complex solvated anion cluster in atomic precision.

In this work, using the post-modified metal clusters as molecular reactors, the progress of aldehyde ligands with methanol molecules forming hemiacetals and acetals under the catalysis of concentrated sulfuric acids was precisely traced with high resolution ESI-TOF Mass Spectrometry（HR-ESI-TOF-MS）. It is indicated that as an effective tool to track chemical reactions, mass spectroscopy could provide some instructions in the designing of molecular reactors, and shows the ability to study the chemical reaction mechanisms.

Meningeal lymphatic vessels form a relationship between the nervous system and periphery, which is relevant in both health and disease. Meningeal lymphatic vessels not only play a key role in the drainage of brain metabolites but also contribute to antigen delivery and immune cell activation. The advent of novel genomic technologies has enabled rapid progress in the characterization of myeloid and lymphoid cells and their interactions with meningeal lymphatic vessels within the central nervous system. In this review, we provide an overview of the multifaceted roles of meningeal lymphatic vessels within the context of the central nervous system immune network, highlighting recent discoveries on the immunological niche provided by meningeal lymphatic vessels. Furthermore, we delve into the mechanisms of crosstalk between meningeal lymphatic vessels and immune cells in the central nervous system under both homeostatic conditions and neurodegenerative diseases, discussing how these interactions shape the pathological outcomes. Regulation of meningeal lymphatic vessel function and structure can influence lymphatic drainage, cerebrospinal fluid-borne immune modulators, and immune cell populations in aging and neurodegenerative disorders, thereby playing a key role in shaping meningeal and brain parenchyma immunity.

Response surface optimization of process parameters for reduction roasting of low-grade pyrolusite by bagasse

The reduction roasting processes for low-grade pyrolusite using bagasse as the reducing agent was statistically analyzed. The central composite rotatable design （CCD） was used to optimize this reduction roasting processes. The three process parameters studied were the mass ratio of bagasse to ore, the roasting temperature and the roasting time. Analysis of variance （ANOVA） was used to analyze the experimental results. The interactions between the process parameters were done by using the linear and quadratic model. The results revealed that the linear and quadratic effects as well as the interaction are statistically significant for the mass ratio and roasting temperature but insignificant for the roasting time. The optimal conditions of 0.9：10 of mass ratio, the roasting temperature of 450 ~C, the roasting time of 30 min were obtained. Under these conditions, the predicted leaching recovery rate for manganese was 98.1%. And the satisfied experimental result of 98.2% confirmed the validity of the model.

It has been shown clinically that continuous removal of ischemia/reperfusion-induced reactive oxygen species is not conducive to the recovery of late ***,previous studies have shown that excessive increases in hypochlorous acid after stroke can cause severe damage to brain *** previous studies have found that a small amount of hypochlorous acid still exists in the later stage of stroke,but its specific role and mechanism are currently *** simulate stroke in vivo,a middle cerebral artery occlusion rat model was established,with an oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation model established in vitro to mimic *** found that in the early stage(within 24 hours)of ischemic stroke,neutrophils produced a large amount of hypochlorous acid,while in the recovery phase(10 days after stroke),microglia were activated and produced a small amount of hypochlorous ***,in acute stroke in rats,hypochlorous acid production was prevented using a hypochlorous acid scavenger,taurine,or myeloperoxidase inhibitor,4-aminobenzoic acid *** results showed that high levels of hypochlorous acid(200μM)induced neuronal apoptosis after oxygen/glucose deprivation/***,in the recovery phase of the middle cerebral artery occlusion model,a moderate level of hypochlorous acid promoted the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells into neurons and *** suggests that hypochlorous acid plays different roles at different phases of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** levels of hypochlorous acid(5 and 100μM)promoted nuclear translocation ofβ-*** transfection of single-site mutation plasmids,we found that hypochlorous acid induced chlorination of theβ-catenin tyrosine 30 residue,which promoted nuclear ***,our study indicates that maintaining low levels of hypochlorous acid plays a key role in the recovery of neurological function.
