Objective:To investigate capacity of Hyptis suaveolens(***) methanol extract as an antioxidant to protect against carbon tetrachloride(CCl_4)-indueed oxidative stress,hepatotoxicitv in Albino Wistar rats and cytoprotective effect of hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) induced cell death in HepG_2 cell ***:Two different doses of methanol extract of *** were evaluated for the hepatoprotective activity against carbon tetrachloride(CCl_4) induced hepatotoxicitv in *** in GroupⅠ:served as control,groupⅡ:***(100 mL/ kg b.w),groupⅢ:***(50 mL/kg b.w) + CCl_4(1 mg/kg),groupⅣ:***(100 mL/kg b.w) + CCl_4(1 ml/kg)and groupⅤ:CCl_4(1 mL/kg).Histopathologic changes of liver were also *** was also determined by 3,(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)2,5-diphenyl-tetrazolium bromide(MTT) ***:Oral sigle dose treatment of CCl_4 produced a marked elevation in the serum levels of aspartate transaminase(AST),alanine transaminase(ALT), alkaline phosphatase(ALP) and Lactate dehydrogenase(LDH).Histopathological analysis of the liver of CCl_4-induced rats revealed marked liver cell necrosis with inflammatory collections that were conformed to increase in the levels of SOD,GSH,GST,GR and *** with H_2O_2 significantly induced death of HepG_2 *** with *** methanol extract inhibited or attenuated H_2O_2 induced ***:This study shows that *** methanol extract can be proposed to protect the liver against CCl_4-induced oxidative damage in rats and protect the cells against H_2O_2-induced oxidative damage in HepG_2 *** hepatoprotective and cytoprotective effects might be correlated with its antioxidant and free radical scavenger effects.

Rockburst is defined as a phenomenon with immediate dynamic instability under excavation unloading conditions of deep or high geostress *** knowledge and lack of characterizing information prevent engineers and experts from achieving appropriate prediction results related to the rockburst *** this study,a data set including 220 rockburst instances was collected for rockburst classification via the geostatistical *** update of the 2D graph,the tunnel rockburst classification(TRC)chart,was introduced based on analysing three indicators,namely,elastic energy index(Wet),tangential stress in rock mass(σ_(0)),and uniaxial compressive strength(σ_(c)).Distribution and correlation of data were drawn on 2D plot,and the boundaries of rockburst were distinguished according to the achieved interpolate points by kriging ***,the validation phase was performed using an additional set of 28 case histories obtained from several projects around the *** results showed that the TRC chart with an average error percentage of 3.6%in the prediction of rockburst had a significant and effective implementation in comparison to the exiting heuristic *** the initial character of the prediction,the described chart may be a helpful tool in the first steps of design and construction.

MicroRNAs （miRNAs） are 19-24 nucleotide non-coding ribonucleic acids binding DNA or RNA and controlling gene expression via mRNA degradation or its transcription inhibition. Erythropoies is a multi step differentiation process of erythroid progenitors to nucleate red blood cells. Maturation, proliferation and differentiation of red blood cells is affected by erythroid factors, signaling pathways in niche of hematopoietic cells, transcription factors as well as miRNAs. Expression of different types of miRNAs during erythroid development provides a background for the study of these molecules to control erythroid differentiation and maturation as well as their use as diagnostic and prognostic markers to treat erythroid disorders like thalassemia, sickle cell disease and erythrocyte enzyme deficiencies. In this paper, with reference to biosynthesis of miRNAs, their function in normal and anemic erythropoiesis has been investigated. The target molecule of each of these miRNAs has been cited in an attempt to elucidate their role in erythropoiesis.

Surveying of Pesticides Commonly on the Markets of Iran in 2009

Considering the potential pesticide side effects on environment, their short and long term untoward effects on living creatures, their excessive usage for producing more agricultural products, and also their application to destroy pests of any sort, the present study was carried out to investigate the used amount of common pesticides in Iran markets. A questionnaire was designed. Referring to pesticide selling shops and plants preservations organizations in Tehran and Isfahan, the sufficient data was collected and then categorized regarding the applications and the total amount of used pesticides in a year. The results demonstrated that there were 60 sorts of used pesticides in Iran. They included Organochlorine (10%), Organophosphorus (28.4%), Pyrethroids derivatives (10%), Carbamate derivatives (10%), and others (41.6%). The commonest pesticide used in a year was Organophosphorus and the least one was Organochlorine. The obtained data pointed out that the most common pesticide was Organophosphorus. Given that Organophosphorine compounds are poisonous in living creatures and cause short and long term side effects. It is recommended that responsible authorities provide the necessary information for the aimed groups in terms of the allowable using amount of pesticides, the protection strategies and the pesticides hazards on users.

Objective To explore the effect of hepatocyte growth factor （HGF） and fibroblast growth factor （FGF） on preimplantation embryo development of mouse.Methods Mated mice were killed by cervical dislocation to collect two pronucleous （2 PN） zygotes from oviduct of pregnant 1 d NMRI mice and were cultured to the hatching blastocyst stage and the number of embryo in different stages was recorded under an invert microscope. The cleavage rates of formed 2 PN zygotes were compared with blastocyst and hatching blastocyst stage in drops of T6 medium with or without HGF or FGF （0 ng/ml, 10 ng/ml, 20 ng/ml, 50 ng/ml, 1 000 ng/ml）. Results HGF and FGF enriched embryo culture media promotea the aevetopment from 2 PN stage embryos to blastocyst. Adding 20 ng/ml of FGF or HGF to the culture medium significantly increased the percentage of 2PN embryos that developed into blastocysts （P〈0.05）, but culture of embryos in drops of T6 medium with HGF （20 ng/ml） had no improvement in in-vitro hatching.Conclusion Exogenous HGF and FGF at low concentrations promote in-vitro mouse blastocyst formation.
