SBR compounds including the N-isopropyl-N＇-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine-modified clay（organoclay） were *** of modified clay and antioxidant（IPPD） contents on mechanical and rheological properties of SBR composites were *** results confirmed that the clay was chemically modified by IPPD and changed into an organoclay.X-ray diffraction（XRD） results confirmed the increase in interlayer distance of the clay due to the insertion of *** and cure characteristics of SBR compounds were determined using RPA（Rubber Process Analyzer） and *** time and cure time of SBR compounds decreased with introduction of the *** properties and heat aging resistance of the SBR composites were improved significantly by incorporation of the organoclay.

In recent years and according to modem trans- portation development, rail vehicles are manufactured lighter to achieve higher speed and lower transportation costs. On the other hand, weight reduction of rail vehicles leads to increase the structural vibration. In this study, Active Vibration Control of a rail vehicle using piezo- electric elements is investigated. The optimal control employed as the control approach regard to the first two modes of vibration. A simplified Car body structure is modeled in Matlab using the finite element theory by considering six DOF beam element and then the Eigen functions and mode shapes are derived. The surface roughness of different classes of rail tracks have been obtained using random vibration theory and applied to the secondary suspension as the excitation of the structure; Then piezoelectric mounted where the greatest moments were captured. The effectiveness of Piezoelectric in structural vibrations attenuation of car body is demon- strated through the state space equations and its effect on modal coefficient.

Early diagnosis of breast cancer,the most common disease among women around the world,increases the chance of treatment and is highly *** atypia grading in histopathological images plays an important role in the final diagnosis and grading ofbreast *** images by pathologists is a time consuming and subjective ***,the existence of a computer-aided system for nuclear atypia grading is very useful and necessary;In this stud%two automatic systems for grading nuclear atypia in breast cancer histopathological images based on deep learning methods are proposed.A patch-based approach is introduced due to the large size of the histopathological images and restriction of the training *** the proposed system I,the most important patches in the image are detected first and then a three-hidden-layer convolutional neural network(CNN)is designed and trained for feature extraction and to classify the patches *** proposed system II is based on a combination of the CNN for feature extraction and a two-layer Long short-term memoty(LSTM)network for *** LSTM network is utilised to consider all patches of an image simultaneously for image *** simulation results show the efficiency of the proposed systems for automatic nuclear atypia grading and outperform the current related studies in the literature.

Treatment of fir wood with chitosan and polyethylene glycol

Chitosan is a natural biopolymer, derived from chitin, which is used for wood modification. Polyethylene glycol（PEG） was reacted with wood to provide possible fixation of the chitosan to wood. Wood blocks were treated with chitosan and PEG, as well as pre-treatment with the PEG at different temperatures and further reaction with the chitosan. The samples were soaked in water to study leaching of the chemicals, water absorption, swelling, as well as anti-swelling efficiency. Any prior reaction of the wood with PEG provided better reaction to the *** was increased after the treatment of the wood with PEG. Swelling was reduced in the PEG-treated wood blocks as well as the pre-treated samples. Chitosan was not able to protect wood against water penetration： the treated samples showed more water absorption and ***, pre-treatment of the samples decreased swelling in the wood, and the density was not noticeably affected by the treatments. Heating during the treatment caused more reduction in swelling for PEG–chitosan treated samples.

Genetic algorithms(GAs)are very good metaheuristic algorithms that are suitable for solving NP-hard combinatorial optimization *** a set of solutions represented by a population of chromosomes and then uses the idea of survival of the fittest in the selection process to select some fitter *** uses a crossover operator to create better offspring chromosomes and thus,converges the ***,it uses a mutation operator to explore the unexplored areas by the crossover operator,and thus,diversifies the GA search space.A combination of crossover and mutation operators makes the GA search strong enough to reach the optimal ***,appropriate selection and combination of crossover operator and mutation operator can lead to a very good GA for solving an optimization *** this present paper,we aim to study the benchmark traveling salesman problem(TSP).We developed several genetic algorithms using seven crossover operators and six mutation operators for the TSP and then compared them to some benchmark TSPLIB *** experimental studies show the effectiveness of the combination of a comprehensive sequential constructive crossover operator and insertion mutation operator for the *** GA using the comprehensive sequential constructive crossover with insertion mutation could find average solutions whose average percentage of excesses from the best-known solutions are between 0.22 and 14.94 for our experimented problem instances.

This paper proposes a multi-scale self-recovery(MSSR)approach to protect images against content *** main idea is to provide more resistance against image tampering while enabling the recovery process in a multi-scale quality *** the proposed approach,the reference data composed of several parts and each part is protected by a channel coding rate according to its *** first part,which is used to reconstruct a rough approximation of the original image,is highly protected in order to resist against higher tampering *** parts are protected with lower rates according to their importance leading to lower tolerable tampering rate(TTR),but the higher quality of the recovered *** proposed MSSR approach is an efficient solution for the main disadvantage of the current methods,which either recover a tampered image in low tampering rates or fails when tampering rate is above the TTR *** simulation results on 10000 test images represent the efficiency of the multi-scale self-recovery feature of the proposed approach in comparison with the existing methods.

Crowd evacuation simulation is an essential element when it comes to planning and preparation in evacuation *** paper presents the survey based on systematic literature review(SLR)technique that aims to identify the crowd evacuation under microscopic model integrated with soft computing technique from previous *** the review process,renowned databases were searched to retrieve the primary articles and total 38 studies were thoroughly *** researcher has identified the potential optimization factors in simulating crowd evacuation and research gaps based on acquired issues,limitation and challenges in this *** results of this SLR will serve as a guideline for the researchers that have same interest to develop better and effective crowd evacuation simulation *** future direction from this SLR also suggests that there is a potential to hybrid the model with softcomputing optimization focusing on latest nature-inspired algorithms in improving the crowd evacuation model.

Surgical Outcomes and Local Recurrence Following Total or Subtotal Gastrectomy for Early Adenocarcinoma of Antrum

Objective： The choice between total gastrectomy （TG） and subtotal gastrectomy （STG） for early adenocarcinoma of the lower third of the stomach is still a matter of debate and controversy amongst surgeons. The aim of this study was to compare the surgical outcomes, quality of life （QoL）, and local recurrence rates as well as other results of curative resection of early distal adenocarcinoma of the stomach using TG or STG performed in Iran. Methods： Hospital records of 66 patients with early distal adenocarcinoma of stomach that underwent even total or subtotal gastrectomy with perigastric （D2） lymphadenectomy between October 2001 and February 2006 in Taleghani Hospital, Iran were reviewed retrospectively. Demographic data as well as clinicopathological factors including number of involved lymph nodes, tumor grading, depth of invation, tumor size, and tumor type were recorded. Post-operative outcomes including mortality and morbidity, tumor recurrence and quality of life were assessed. Univariate analyses using Fisher＇s exact test, the Student t-test, and the Pearson χ^2 test were used. Results： Local recurrence of tumor was found in 8 （23%） TG group patients and in 19 （61%） patients of STG group, the Pearson χ^2 test showed a significant higher recurrence rate in STG （P value=0.002, Relative Risk=2.68, Confidence Interval： 1.37-5.24）.The mean time interval between gastrectomy and tumor recurrence was not different between TG and STG. （19.75±5.1 vs. 18.0±7.8 respectively; P value=0.507） Tumor size 〉5 cm （P value=0.004）, diffuse type （P value=0.034）, poor differentiation （P value=0.000） and serosal invasion （P value=0.012） were found to be significantly related to tumor recurrence in patients undergone gastrectomy. In none of the QoL measures a significant difference was found between TG and STG Conclusion： Our results show that subtotal and total gastrectomy methods with perigastric lymphadenectomy have a similar postoperative complication rate and surgical outcomes a

Objective： To investigate the effectiveness of curcumin, a natural polyphenolic compound with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities, on the frequency of symptoms of anxiety and depression in obese individuals. Methods： In this double blind, cross-over trial, 30 obese subjects were randomized to receive either curcumin （1 g/day） or placebo for a period of 30 days. Following a wash-out interval of 2 weeks, each subject was crossed over to the alternative regimen for a further 30 days. Severity of anxiety and depression was assessed at baseline and at weeks 4, 6 and 10 of the trial using the Beck Anxiety Inventory （BAI） and Beck Depression Inventory （BDI） scales, respectively. Results： Mean BAI score was found to be significantly reduced following curcumin therapy （P=0.03）. However, curcumin supplementation did not exert any significant impact on BDI scores （P=0.7）. Conclusion： Curcumin has a potential anti-anxiety effect in individuals with obesity.
