The accumulating evidence revealed that gut microbiota plays an important role in pathological process of disease including obesity,type 2 diabetes mellitus,heart failure,and non-alcoholic fatty liver *** extracted from Chinese medicine(CM)can not only alleviate pathological status but also promote health by anti-inflammatory,regulating immunity,lowering blood glucose and lipids,anti-cancer,and *** alterations of gut microbiota composition and metabolism pathways are the potential mechanisms of CM polysaccharides *** addition,they exert functions through gut-organ axis or play an indirect role by synergistic actions with other drugs or components mediated by gut *** review summarizes the molecular mechanisms of CM polysaccharides interacted with intestinal microbial inhabitants as potential prebiotics forpromoting health.

BACKgROUND Cronkhite-Canada syndrome(CCS)is a rare disease of unknown *** optimal treatment for CCS remains *** with corticosteroids is considered the mainstay treatment because of its high efficacy,but the therapeutic strategy for steroid-resistant CCS is not yet *** SUMMARY This is the case of an 81-year-old woman who was diagnosed with *** her severe diarrhea,nausea,vomiting,and hypoproteinemia,hormone therapy(40 mg/d)was administered,and the symptoms improved within 1 *** 3 mo,the patient had no obvious *** polyps were significantly reduced on review gastroscopy and colonoscopy,thus hormone reduction gradually *** hormone level was maintained at 10 mg/d after 6 *** the age of the patient and the side effects of hormones,the patient had no obvious ***,hormone drugs were discontinued,and mesalazine was administered orally at 3 g/*** patient's symptoms continued to improve after a follow-up of 5 *** Corticosteroids and mesalazine are potential treatment options for CCS.

Reducing the short-circuit rate and increasing the effective discharge rate are important targets for improving the servo control effect of micro-electrical discharge machining(micro-EDM),as these two indicators are closely related to the machining efficiency and *** this study,a feed-pulse collaborative control(FPCC)method is proposed for micro-EDM based on two dimensions(space and time).In the spatial dimension,a feed control strategy with a discharge holding process is ***,in the time dimension,a forward-looking pulse control strategy is adopted,in which the pulse interval is adjusted based on a sequence analysis of feed commands and discharge *** experiments are carried out to determine the key parameters used in this method,including the discharge holding threshold and pulse interval adjustment value(T_(off_(adj))).The feed smoothness and discharge sufficiency analyses of the experimental results show that compared to the traditional double threshold average voltage method,the FPCC method reduces the number of long-distance retreats by 64%and improves the effective discharge time by 40%.

Securing a comfortable, wearable compact frequency beam scanning antenna(FBSA) with robustness to deformation, low specific absorption rate(SAR), and good coverage of the surrounding environment for Internet of Things(IoT) applications, such as on-body navigation and wireless communication is an emerging challenge. In this work, a robust textile-based spoof plasmonic frequency scanning antenna utilizing higher-order modes is presented, which is also robust to deformation caused by the activities of the human body. The innovative design of the element ensures the high-efficiency transmission of the fundamental mode of spoof surface plasmon polaritons(SSPP) structure, providing the potential of being a multifunctional composite device in the compact on-body network. Besides, an artificial magnetic conductor(AMC) is designed underneath the SSPP structure, obtaining a low SAR value(0.113 W/kg), which ensures the safety of users. As a practical realization of this concept, a textile-based spoof plasmonic antenna was fabricated in the microwave regime and the performed experimental results show the proposed antenna has a single-beam radiation characteristic with a 70° beam scanning angle range when the frequency is 4.7–6.0 gHz with a high average realized gain of 13.15 dBi. And it still maintains a steady performance when faced with structure deformation, which proves its robustness. Wireless communication quality experiments are performed to demonstrate the proposed antenna can measure the angles of targets and realize wireless signal transmission to specific targets as the frequency varies, it may find great potential in the field of on-body IoT applications.

Floodplain lakes are important water storage areas in lowland regions that often undergo geomorphologic evolution,and timely topographic data are generally *** this study,to assess the impacts of lakebed deformation on hydraulic performance in Dongting Lake,a set of semi-empirical methods was proposed to establish performance graphs(Pgs)using only hydrological *** methods were used to evaluate the changes in water level,storage capacity,and flood detention ability in Dongting Lake caused by topographic adjustment after the Three gorges Reservoir *** methods showed that Pgs can effectively simulate the water level and outflow processes of Dongting Lake with Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency coefficients(NSEs)above 0.9.A comparison of the estimated water level and discharge using Pgs from different periods suggested that bed erosion in Dongting Lake caused water level decreases of 0.18 m and 0.32 m during the flood and dry seasons,*** the magnitude of erosion at high elevations in the lake is small,the impacts of bed adjustment on the storage capacity and flood detention ability are not currently *** study showed that the hydraulic performance of a floodplain lake can be evaluated independently of topographic data under the condition of no reverse flows or negative watersurface slopes.

The function of solid electrolytes and the composition of solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)are highly significant for inhibiting the growth of Li ***,we report an in-situ interfacial passivation combined with self-adaptability strategy to reinforce Li_(0.33)La_(0.557)TiO_(3)(LLTO)-based solid-state ***,a functional SEI enriched with LiF/Li_(3)PO_(4) is formed by in-situ electrochemical conversion,which is greatly beneficial to improving interface compatibility and enhancing ion *** the polarized dielectric BaTiO_(3)-polyamic acid(BTO-PAA,BP)film greatly improves the Li-ion transport kinetics and homogenizes the Li *** expected,the resulting electrolyte offers considerable ionic conductivity at room temperature(4.3 x 10~(-4)S cm^(-1))and appreciable electrochemical decomposition voltage(5.23 V)after electrochemical *** Li-LiFePO_(4) batteries,it shows a high specific capacity of 153 mA h g^(-1)at 0.2C after 100 cycles and a long-term durability of 115 mA h g^(-1)at 1.0 C after 800 ***,a stable Li plating/stripping can be achieved for more than 900 h at 0.5 mA cm^(-2).The stabilization mechanisms are elucidated by ex-situ XRD,ex-situ XPS,and ex-situ FTIR techniques,and the corresponding results reveal that the interfacial passivation combined with polarization effect is an effective strategy for improving the electrochemical *** present study provides a deeper insight into the dynamic adjustment of electrode-electrolyte interfacial for solid-state lithium batteries.
