Regulation of rhizosphere microenvironment by rice husk ash for reducing the accumulation of cadmium and arsenic in rice

It is important to reduce Cd and As content in brown rice in contaminated paddy *** conducted research on the effects of rice husk ash (RHA) on the Cd and As in the rhizosphere microenvironment (soil,porewater,and iron plaque) and measured the Cd,As,and Si content in rice *** main elements in RHA were Si (29.64%) and O (69.17%),which had the maximum adsorption capacity for Cd was 42.49 mg/kg and for As was 18.62 mg/*** pH and available Si content increased,while soil available Cd and As decreased following application of 0.5%–2%*** promote the transformation of Cd to insoluble fraction,while As was transformed from a poorly soluble form to a more active *** reduced Cd content and increased Si content in porewater,and reduced As only at the later rice growth *** increased the amount of iron plaque,thereby decreasing the Cd content in iron plaque,while increased the As content in *** and inorganic As content in brown rice were decreased,to 0.31 mg/kg and 0.18 mg/kg,*** decrease of Cd in brown rice was due to the decrease of Cd mobility in soil,thereby reducing root accumulation,while the decrease of As in brown rice was affected by the transport from roots to ***,RHA can be considered as a safe and efficient in-situ remediation amendment for Cd and As co-contaminated paddy soil.

The interactions between lignin oligomers and solvents determine the behaviors of lignin oligomers self-assembling into uniform lignin nanoparticles(LnPs).Herein,several alcohol solvents,which readily interact with the lignin oligomers,were adopted to study their effects during solvent shifting process for LnPs’*** lignin oligomers with widely distributed molecular weight and abundant guaiacyl units were extracted from wood waste(mainly consists of pine wood),exerting outstanding self-assembly *** and spherical LnPs were generated in H_(2)O-n-propanol cosolvent,whereas irregular LnPs were obtained in H_(2)O-methanol *** unsatisfactory self-assembly performance of the lignin oligomers in H_(2)O-methanol cosolvent could be attributed to two *** one hand,for the initial dissolution state,the distinguishing Hansen solubility parameter and polarity between methanol solvent and lignin oligomers resulted in the poor dispersion of the lignin *** the other hand,strong hydrogen bonds between methanol solvent and lignin oligomers during solvent shifting process,hindered the interactions among the lignin oligomers for self-assembly.

H7n9 subtype avian influenza virus poses a great challenge for poultry *** disease virus(nDV)-vectored H7n9 avian influenza vaccines(nDV_(vec)H7n9)are effective in disease control because they are protective and allow mass *** note,these vaccines elicit undetectable H7n9-specific hemagglutination-inhibition(HI)but high IgG antibodies in ***,the molecular basis and protective mechanism underlying this particular antibody immunity remain ***,immunization with an nDV_(vec)H7n9 induced low anti-H7n9 HI and virus neutralization titers but high levels of hemagglutinin(HA)-binding IgG antibodies in *** residues(S150,G151 and S152)in HA of H7n9 virus were identified as the dominant epitopes recognized by the nDV_(vec)H7n9 immune *** transferred nDV_(vec)H7n9 immune serum conferred complete protection against H7n9 virus infection in *** nDV_(vec)H7n9 immune serum can mediate a potent lysis of HA-expressing and H7n9 virus-infected cells and significantly suppress H7n9 virus *** activities of the serum were significantly impaired after heat-inactivation or treatment with complement inhibitor,suggesting the engagement of the complement ***,mutations in the 150-SGS-152 sites in HA resulted in significant reductions in cell lysis and virus neutralization mediated by the nDV_(vec)H7n9 immune serum,indicating the requirement of antibody-antigen binding for complement ***,antibodies induced by the nDV_(vec)H7n9 can activate antibody-dependent complement-mediated lysis of H7n9 virus-infected cells and complement-mediated neutralization of H7n9 *** findings unveiled a novel role of the complement in protection conferred by the nDV_(vec)H7n9,highlighting a potential benefit of engaging the complement system in H7n9 vaccine design.

The use of electrochemical-metallization-based volatile threshold switching selectors in cross-point arrays has been widely explored owing to their high on-off ratios and simple ***,these devices are unsuitable for cross-point architectures because of the difficulty in controlling the random filament formation that results in large fluctuations in the threshold voltage during *** this study,we investigated the unidirectional threshold transition characteristics associated with an Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt-based bilayer selector and demonstrated the occurrence of a low leakage current(nd low distribution of the threshold voltage(Δ0.11 V).The bilayer structure could control the filament formation in the intermediate state through the insertion of an HfO_(x) tunneling *** stacking a bilayer selector with niO_(x)based resistive random-access memory,the leakage and programming currents of the device could be significantly *** the crossbar array configuration,we performed equivalent circuit analysis of a one-selector oneresistor(1S1R) devices and estimated the optimal array size to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed *** maximum acceptable crossbar array size of the 1S1R device with the Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt/Ti/niO_(x)/Pt structure was 5.29×10^(14)(n^(2),n=2.3×10^(7)).

With continuous hydrocarbon exploration extending to deeper basins,the deepest industrial oil accumulation was discovered below 8,200 m,revealing a new exploration ***,the extent to which oil exploration can be extended,and the prediction of the depth limit of oil accumulation(DLOA),are issues that have attracted significant attention in petroleum *** it is difficult to characterize the evolution of the physical properties of the marine carbonate reservoir with burial depth,and the deepest drilling still cannot reach the ***,the DLOA cannot be predicted by directly establishing the relationship between the ratio of drilling to the dry layer and the *** this study,by establishing the relationships between the porosity and the depth and dry layer ratio of the carbonate reservoir,the relationships between the depth and dry layer ratio were obtained *** depth corresponding to a dry layer ratio of 100%is the *** on this,a quantitative prediction model for the DLOA was finally *** results indicate that the porosity of the carbonate reservoir,Lower Ordovician in tazhong area of tarim Basin,tends to decrease with burial depth,and manifests as an overall low porosity reservoir in deep *** critical porosity of the DLOA was 1.8%,which is the critical geological condition corresponding to a 100%dry layer ratio encountered in the *** depth of the DLOA was 9,000 *** study provides a new method for DLOA prediction that is beneficial for a deeper understanding of oil accumulation,and is of great importance for scientific guidance on deep oil drilling.

The efficient pyrolysis and conversion of organic matter in organic-rich shale,as well as the effective recovery of pyrolysis shale oil and gas,play a vital role in alleviating energy *** state of carbon dioxide（CO2） in the pyrolysis environment of shale reservoirs is the supercritical *** unique supercritical fluid properties not only effectively heat organic matter,displace pyrolysis products and change shale pore structure,but also achieve carbon storage to a certain *** samples were made into powder and three sizes of cores,and nitrogen（n2） and supercritical carbon dioxide（ScCO2）pyrolysis experiments were performed at different final pyrolysis *** properties and mineral characteristics of the pyrolysis products were studied based on gas chromatography analysis,Xray diffraction tests,and mass spectrometry ***,the pore structure characteristics at different regions of cores before and after pyrolysis were analyzed using n2adsorption tests to clarify the impact of fracturing degree on the pyrolysis *** results indicate that the optimal pyrolysis temperature of Longkou shale is about 430℃.Compared with n2,the oil yield of ScCO2pyrolysis is *** pyrolysis oil obtained by ScCO2extraction has more intermediate fractions and higher relative molecular *** ScCO2can effectively improve the pore diameter of shale and its effect is better than that of *** micropores are produced in shale after pyrolysis,and the macropores only are generated in ScCO2pyrolysis environments with temperatures greater than 430℃.The pore structure has different development characteristics at different pyrolysis temperatures,which are mainly affected by the pressure holding of volatile matter and products *** to the surface of the core,the pore development effect inside the core is *** the decrease in core size,the pore diameter,specific surface area,and pore volume of cores all increase after pyrolysis.
