Background:Nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)is one of the most prevalent cancers in Southeast Asia.Sirtuin 2(SIRT2)is a member of the NAD+-dependent deacetylase family and has been shown to play important roles in numerous biological processes.However,Its function in NPC remains uncertain.The primary aim of this study is to clarify the role of SIRT2 in NPC.Methods:In this research,we examined the effect of SIRT2 silencing on NPC cell proliferation and colony formation using vitro NPC cell lines.Co-immunoprecipitation and mass spectrometry was applied to identify SIRT2-interacting proteins in NPC cells.Results:In comparison to nasopharyngeal epithelial NP69 cells,SIRT2 was up-regulated in multiple NPC cell lines,particularly in CNE2 cells.SIRT2 knockdown abrogated CNE2 cell proliferation and colony formation,whereas SIRT2 overexpression promoted HNE1 cell proliferation and colony formation.The SIRT2-interacting proteins were gathered in gene expression and regulation processes including RNA processing and translation.Among the SIRT2-interacting proteins,there were multiple DEAD-box(DDX)family members.Of note,silencing of DDX24 phenocopied the effect of SIRT2 knockdown on NPC growth.Overexpression of DDX24 restored SIRT2-depleted CNE2 cells to proliferative and colony formation.Conclusions:Our study indicates that SIRT2 can interact with DDX24 to enhance NPC growth.The clinical relevance of SIRT2 and DDX24 in NPC warrants further investigation.

The environmental protection has become one of the factors that affect and restrict the development of human society. With the continuous development of industry and the rapid increase of urban population, a large number of industrial and domestic sewage discharges into rivers and lakes without treatment, so that the environment and the application of water are seriously polluted. In this paper, the principle and characteristics of PLC(PLC is the abbreviation of Programmable Logic Controller)are introduced;the process of PLC sewage treatment is expounded, and the application of PLC in sewage treatment is described.

该研究通过单种鹅掌藤(Schefflera arboricola)、单种团花(Neolamarckia cadamba)和混种团花与鹅掌藤的大根箱实验,跟踪分析表施2%(W/W)污泥后3个月(2020年9月、10月和11月)的鲜叶和凋落叶Cu、Zn、Cd和Hg含量以及凋落叶产量变化,分析鲜叶与凋落叶重金属含量关系以及凋落叶重金属回归量变化。结果表明:(1)污泥施用下团花鲜叶和凋落叶Cu含量均显著高于鹅掌藤,而Zn和Cd含量均显著低于鹅掌藤。(2)鹅掌藤鲜叶Zn含量在11月最低,而Hg含量在11月最高。(3)单种和混种团花鲜叶Zn、Cd和Hg含量在11月最高。(4)混种的团花凋落叶Hg含量随污泥施用时间延长而显著增加,而Cu、Zn和Cd含量变化不明显。(5)9月和11月鹅掌藤鲜叶Cd含量均与凋落叶Hg和Cd含量显著正相关。(6)鹅掌藤和团花凋落叶产量及Cu、Zn、Cd和Hg回归量分别在污泥施用1个月后(9月)和2个月后(10月)最高。综上所述,污泥施用时间对团花和鹅掌藤的鲜叶重金属含量影响较大,而对凋落叶重金属含量影响较小;鹅掌藤鲜叶Cd含量与凋落叶Cd和Hg含量存在正相关;鹅掌藤和团花分别在污泥施用1个月后(9月)和2个月后(10月)凋落叶重金属污染风险较高。该研究为污泥园林利用和凋落叶的合理处置提供了借鉴。

目的探讨自拟外洗方治疗尿毒症性皮肤瘙痒症(UP)病人的疗效。方法选取苏州市中西医结合医院2019年4月至2020年4月收治的UP病人86例,按随机数字表法分为观察组和对照组,每组各43例。两组均采取常规透析疗法,对照组采用瘙痒部位外涂炉甘石洗剂治疗,观察组采用自拟外洗方进行药浴,疗程4周。比较两组治疗前与治疗4周、随访至12周的瘙痒程度[采用四项目瘙痒量表(FIIQ)评估]、生活质量[采用生活质量综合评定问卷-74(GQOL-74)评估]与睡眠质量[采用匹兹堡睡眠质量指数(PSQI)评估]及血钙、血磷、全段甲状旁腺激素(iPTH)、C反应蛋白(CRP)、白细胞介素-31(IL-31)、血β2-微球蛋白(β2-MG)水平。结果对照组和观察组治疗前的FIIQ评分为(11.23±1.89)分和(11.07±1.72)分,治疗4周分别降低至(6.17±1.58)分和(4.68±1.11)分,随访至12周为(6.54±1.64)分和(4.77±1.36)分,组间比较、时间点比较及交互作用的差异有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论自拟外洗方治疗UP可有效缓解病人瘙痒症状,降低血清CRP、IL-31、β2-MG水平,提高睡眠质量与生活质量。

目的:分析掌骨锁定钢板在拇外翻第一跖趾关节融合术中的应用效果。方法:回顾性分析瑞金市人民医院2019年5月—2021年5月收治的30例中重度拇外翻患者的病历资料,根据手术方案分为对照组与研究组,每组15例。对照组应用传统跖趾关节融合钢板治疗,研究组应用掌骨锁定钢板治疗。比较两组术前及末次随访的拇外翻角(hallux valgus angle,HVA)、跖骨间角(inter metatarsal angle,IMA)、美国矫形足踝协会前足功能评分(American orthopedic foot and ankle society,AOFAS)及视觉模拟评分法(visual analogue scale,VAS)评分;比较两组不良反应发生情况。结果:两组术后VAS评分、AOFAS评分、HVA及IMA均优于术前(P0.05)。结论:在中重度拇外翻患者行第一跖趾关节融合术中,应用掌骨锁定钢板在临床疗效上更优于传统钢板治疗,有助于促进骨的结构和功能恢复。

【目的】植物根系是植物吸收土壤水分和养分的重要器官,研究植物根系有助于了解植物根系与地上部相互作用以及植物对环境变化的响应机制。本研究分析高分子吸水树脂(SAP)和卡波姆U20(U20)单配和复配的稳定性和植物生长安全性,尝试建立植物根系生长观察的半固态凝胶开放培养方法。【方法】借助根箱试验,以草本植物黑叶芋(Alocasia longiloba)和灌木鹅掌藤(Schefflera actinopylla)为试验对象,基于营养液和SAP与U20复配半凝胶配方,分析1/4 Hoagland’s营养液(CK)、0.3%SAP凝胶营养液(T1)、0.5%U20凝胶营养液(T2)、0.4%U20+0.3%SAP凝胶营养液(T3)和0.5%U20+0.2%SAP凝胶营养液(T4)的稳定性以及在这些培养介质中植物生长、叶片叶绿素、根系形态变化和养分吸收差异。【结果】放置5周后,各处理培养介质均没有观察霉变和长菌现象,T1、T2和T3出现水化或絮凝分层,T4与CK一样性质稳定且澄清透明。动态观察叶片叶绿素变化发现,同一时间内,鹅掌藤各处理SPAD值和总叶绿素含量均与CK无显著差异,黑叶芋各处理SPAD值也均与CK无显著差异(P>0.05)。与CK相比,T1和T2均对鹅掌藤和黑叶芋根系生长产生抑制作用,T1和T2处理鹅掌藤总根长分别显著降低了51.59%和47.48%(P0.05);与CK中根系多下垂于营养液不同,T4中根系舒展自然,侧根和细根均呈一定角度展开在半固态凝胶中,较好的模拟了根系在土壤介质的生长状态。【结论】0.5%U20+0.2%SAP凝胶营养液可在较长时间内保持稳定的半固态凝胶状态,较好满足了模拟植物根系在土壤中生长的要求,并且短时间内在该营养液中植物生长、叶片叶绿素、根系形态变化和养分吸收与纯营养液无显著差异,可考虑选择该凝胶配方来建立植物根系生长观察的半固态凝胶开放培养方法。

An obvious trend shift in the annual mean and winter mixed layer depth(MLD)in the Antarctic Circumpolar Current(ACC)region was detected during the 1960–2021 period.Shallowing trends stopped in mid-1980s,followed by a period of weak trends.The MLD deepening trend difference between the two periods were mainly distributed in the western areas in the Drake Passage,the areas north to Victoria Land and Wilkes Land,and the central parts of the South Indian sector.The newly formed ocean current shear due to the meridional shift of the ACC flow axis between the two periods is the dominant driver for the MLD trends shift distributed in the western areas in the Drake Passage and the central parts of the South Indian sector.The saltier trends in the regions north to Victoria Land and Wilkes Land could be responsible for the strengthening mixing processes in this region.

Precipitous Arctic sea-ice decline and the corresponding increase in Arctic open-water areas in summer months give more space for sea-ice growth in the subsequent cold seasons. Compared to the decline of the entire Arctic multiyear sea ice,changes in newly formed sea ice indicate more thermodynamic and dynamic information on Arctic atmosphere–ocean–ice interaction and northern mid–high latitude atmospheric teleconnections. Here, we use a large multimodel ensemble from phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP6) to investigate future changes in wintertime newly formed Arctic sea ice. The commonly used model-democracy approach that gives equal weight to each model essentially assumes that all models are independent and equally plausible, which contradicts with the fact that there are large interdependencies in the ensemble and discrepancies in models' performances in reproducing observations. Therefore, instead of using the arithmetic mean of well-performing models or all available models for projections like in previous studies, we employ a newly developed model weighting scheme that weights all models in the ensemble with consideration of their performance and independence to provide more reliable projections. Model democracy leads to evident bias and large intermodel spread in CMIP6 projections of newly formed Arctic sea ice. However, we show that both the bias and the intermodel spread can be effectively reduced by the weighting scheme. Projections from the weighted models indicate that wintertime newly formed Arctic sea ice is likely to increase dramatically until the middle of this century regardless of the emissions scenario.Thereafter, it may decrease(or remain stable) if the Arctic warming crosses a threshold(or is extensively constrained).

To editor:Monochorionicity was traditionally considered indicative of monozygosity.However,recent years have witnessed the emergence of several noteworthy instances of monochorionic dizygotic(MCDZ)twins in clinical practice.In 2000,Viëtor et al.1 documented the initial established case of MCDZ twins.Subsequent studies have further documented this unconventional twinning phenomenon.2,3 The recognized complications associated with monochorionic monozygotic pregnancies,including twin-twin transfusion syndrome(TTTS),twin anemia–polycythemia sequence(TAPS),selective intrauterine growth restriction(sIUGR),congenital malformations,and intrauterine fetal death,could also manifest in MCDZ pregnancies.4,5 In this correspondence,we presented an extremely rare case of TTTS in a dizygotic monochorionic diamniotic twin gestation successfully treated with fetoscopic laser photocoagulation.The patients’permission to publish was obtained.
