The Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach serves as an essential tool for addressing convex optimization problems with accelerated convergence *** previous studies in this field have primarily concentrated on unconstrained smooth con-vex optimization *** this paper,on the basis of primal-dual dynamical approach,Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach,projection operator and directional gradient,we present two accelerated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches with time scaling to address convex optimization problems with smooth and nonsmooth objective functions subject to linear and set constraints,which consist of a second-order ODE(ordinary differential equation)or differential conclusion system for the primal variables and a first-order ODE for the dual *** satisfying specific conditions for time scaling,we demonstrate that the proposed approaches have a faster conver-gence *** only requires assuming convexity of the objective *** validate the effectiveness of our proposed two accel-erated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches through numerical experiments.

This paper investigates the adaptive event-triggered control problem for a class of nonlinear systems subject to periodic disturbances. To reduce the communication burden, a reliable relative threshold strategy is proposed. Fourier series expansion and radial basis function neural network are combined into a function approximator to model suitable time-varying disturbed function of known periods in strict-feedback systems. By combining the Lyapunov stability theory and the backstepping technique, the proposed adaptive control approach ensures that all the signals in the closed-loop system are bounded, and the tracking error can be regulated to a compact set around zero in finite time. Finally, simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

This paper investigates two distributed accelerated primal-dual neurodynamic approaches over undirected connected graphs for resource allocation problems(RAP)where the objective functions are generally *** the help of projection operators,a primal-dual framework,and Nesterov's accelerated method,we first design a distributed accelerated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approach(DAPDP),and its convergence rate of the primal-dual gap is O(1/(t^(2)))by selecting appropriate parameters and initial ***,when the local closed convex sets are convex inequalities which have no closed-form solutions of their projection operators,we further propose a distributed accelerated penalty primal-dual neurodynamic approach(DAPPD)on the strength of the penalty method,primal-dual framework,and Nesterov's accelerated *** on the above analysis,we prove that DAPPD also has a convergence rate O(1/(t^(2)))of the primal-dual *** with the distributed dynamical approaches based on the classical primal-dual framework,our proposed distributed accelerated neurodynamic approaches have faster convergence *** simulations demonstrate that our proposed neurodynamic approaches are feasible and effective.

This paper presents an Euler discretized inertial delayed neuron model, and its bifurcation dynamical behaviors are discussed. By using the associated characteristic model, center manifold theorem and the normal form method, it is shown that the model not only undergoes codimension one(flip, Neimark-Sacker) bifurcation, but also undergoes cusp and resonance bifurcation(1:1 and 1:2) of codimension two. Further, it is found that the parity of delay has some effect on bifurcation behaviors. Finally, some numerical simulations are given to support the analytic results and explore complex dynamics, such as periodic orbits near homoclinic orbits, quasiperiodic orbits, and chaotic orbits.

This survey provides a brief overview on the control Lyapunov function(CLF)and control barrier function(CBF)for general nonlinear-affine control *** problem of control is formulated as an optimization problem where the optimal control policy is derived by solving a constrained quadratic programming(QP)*** CLF and CBF respectively characterize the stability objective and the safety objective for the nonlinear control *** objectives imply important properties including controllability,convergence,and robustness of control *** this framework,optimal control corresponds to the minimal solution to a constrained QP *** uncertainties are explicitly considered,the setting of the CLF and CBF is proposed to study the input-to-state stability and input-to-state safety and to analyze the effect of *** recent theoretic progress and novel applications of CLF and CBF are systematically reviewed and discussed in this ***,we provide research directions that are significant for the advance of knowledge in this area.

This paper discusses the problem for cluster synchronization control of a nonlinear complex spatio-temporal dynamical network(CSDN) with community structure. Initially, a collocated boundary controller with boundary measurement is studied to achieve the cluster synchronization of the CSDN. After that, a guaranteed cost boundary controller is further developed based on the obtained results. Furthermore,the suboptimal control design is addressed by minimizing an upper bound of the cost function. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

In this paper, the stability and periodicity of memristor-based neural networks with time-varying delays are studied. Based on linear matrix inequalities, differential inclusion theory and by constructing proper Lyapunov functional approach and using linear matrix inequality, some sufficient conditions are obtained for the global exponential stability and periodic solutions of memristor-based neural networks. Finally, two illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the results.

This paper focuses on the existence, uniqueness and global robust stability of equilibrium point for complex-valued recurrent neural networks with multiple time-delays and under parameter uncertainties with respect to two activation functions. Two sufficient conditions for robust stability of the considered neural networks are presented and established in two new time-independent relationships between the network parameters of the neural system, Finally, three illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the theoretical results.

This paper addresses the distributed optimization problems of multi-agent systems using a distributed hybrid impulsive *** objective is to ensure the agents achieve the state consensus and optimize the aggregate objective functions assigned for each agent with distributed manner. We establish two criteria related to the optimality condition and the impulsive gain upper estimation, and propose a distributed hybrid impulsive optimal protocol, which includes two terms: the local averaging term in the continuous interval and the term involving the gradient information at impulsive instants. The simulation results show that the optimal consensus can be realized under the distributed hybrid impulsive optimization algorithm.
