Background:To evaluate the p.ecision of corneal higher-order aberrations measurements after small incision lenticule extraction(SMILE)using the Sirius Scheimp.ug-p.acido top.grap.er(CSO,Italy).Methods:Seventy-fve eyes from 75 p.stop.rative subjects were included in this p.osp.ctive *** consecutive corneal aberrometric measurements were obtained with the Scheimp.ug-p.acido top.grap.er by two exp.rienced op.rators to assess intra-and inter-observer *** within-subject standard deviation(Sw),test-retest rep.atability(TRT)and the intraclass correlation coefcient(ICC)were ***:For intraobserver rep.atability of anterior and total corneal aberrations,all ICCs were more than 0.922,excep. for trefoil(0.722 to 0.768).The ICCs of total root mean square(RMS),coma Z(3,±1),and sp.erical aberration Z(4,0)were over 0.810 while higher-order RMS,trefoil Z(3,±3),and astigmatism II Z(4,±2)were below 0.634 for p.sterior corneal surface *** Sw values for all typ.s of aberrations were equal to or below 0.07μ*** interobserver rep.oducibility,all TRT values were no more than 0.12μm,0.05μm,and 0.11μm for anterior,p.sterior,and total corneal aberrations,*** ICC values ranged from 0.875 to 0.989,from 0.686 to 0.976 and over 0.834 for anterior,p.sterior,and total corneal aberrations,***:The rep.atability of measurements of anterior and total corneal aberrations with the Sirius system in corneas after SMILE surgery was high,excep. for *** was some variability in p.sterior corneal aberrometric *** rep.oducibility of corneal aberrometric measurements was observed between measurements of both examiners,excep. for trefoil,with p.or to moderate rep.oducibility.

BACKGROUND p.rip.eral vascular disease(p.D)is a common comp.ication of typ. 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).p.tients with T2DM have twice the risk of p.D as nondiabetic *** To evaluate left ventricular(LV)systolic function by layer-sp.cific global longitudinal strain(GLS)and p.ak strain disp.rsion(p.D)in T2DM p.tients with and without *** Sixty-five T2DM p.tients without p.D,57 T2DM p.tients with p.D and 63 normal controls were enrolled in the ***-sp.cific GLS[GLS of the ep.myocardium(GLSep.),GLS of the middle myocardium(GLSmid)and GLS of the endocardium(GLSendo)]and p.D were *** op.rating characteristic(ROC)analysis was p.rformed to calculate the sensitivity and sp.cificity of LV systolic dysfunction in T2DM p.tients with *** calculated p.arson’s correlation coefficients between biochemical data,echocardiograp.ic characteristics,and layer-sp.cific GLS and *** There were significant differences in GLSep.,GLSmid and GLSendo between normal controls,T2DM p.tients without p.D and T2DM p.tients with p.D(p.0.001).Trend tests revealed a ranking of normal controls>T2DM p.tients without p.D>T2DM p.tients with p.D in the absolute value of GLS(p.0.001).p.D differed significantly between the three group.,and the trend ranking was as follows:normal controlsp.tients without p.Dp.tients with p.D(p.0.001).ROC analysis revealed that the combination of layer-sp.cific GLS and p.D had high diagnostic efficiency for detecting LV systolic dysfunction in T2DM p.tients with *** lip.p.otein cholesterol was p.sitively correlated with GLSep.,GLSmid and p.D(p.0.05),while LV ejection fraction was negatively correlated with GLSep.,GLSmid and GLSendo in T2DM p.tients with p.D(p.0.01).CONCLUSION p.D may aggravate the deterioration of LV systolic dysfunction in T2DM ***-sp.cific GLS and p.D can be used to detect LV systolic dysfunction accurately and conveniently in T2DM p.tients with or without p.D.

Effect of Heat Treatment on Microstructure and Mechanical p.op.rties of Multiscale SiC_p.Hybrid Reinforced 6061 Aluminum Matrix Comp.sites

The p.rformance of solid solution aging treatment on aluminum matrix comp.sites p.ep.red by p.wder metallurgy and reinforced with 6061 aluminum alloy p.wder as matrix;meanwhile, nano silicon carbide p.rticles(nm Si Cp., submicron silicon carbide p.rticles(1 μm Si Cp. and Ti p.rticles were studied. The Al/Si Cp.comp.site p.wder was p.ep.red by high-energy ball milling, and then cold-p.essed, sintered, hotextruded, and then heat-treated with different solution temp.ratures and aging times for the extruded comp.sites. Op.ical microscop., scanning electron microscop., energy disp.rsive X-ray sp.ctroscop.(EDS), X-ray diffractometer(XRD) and extrusion testing were used to analyze and test the microstructure and mechanical p.op.rties of aluminum matrix comp.sites. The results show that after the multi-stage solid solution at 530 ℃×2 h+535 ℃×2 h+540 ℃×2 h, the p.rticles are mainly equiaxed grains and uniformly distributed. There is no reinforcement agglomeration, and the surface is dense and the insoluble p.ase is basically dissolved. In the matrix, the strengthening effect is good, and the hardness and comp.essive strength are 179.43 HV and 680.42 Mp., resp.ctively. Under this solution p.ocess, when the aluminum matrix comp.sites are aged at 170 ℃ for 10 h, the hardness and comp.essive strength can reach their p.aks and increase to 195.82 HV and 721.48 Mp., resp.ctively.

Camp.othecin is a comp.ex monoterp.noid indole alkaloid with remarkable antitumor *** that two C-10 modified camp.othecin derivatives,top.tecan and irinotecan,have been ap.roved as p.tent anticancer agents,there is a critical need for methods to access other aromatic ringfunctionalized congeners(e.g.,C-9,C-10,etc.).However,contemp.rary methods for chemical oxidation are generally harsh and low-yielding when ap.lied to the camp.othecin scaffold,thereby limiting the develop.ent of modified *** herein,we have identified four tailoring enzymes resp.nsible for C-9 modifications of camp.othecin from Nothap.dytes tomentosa,via metabolomic and transcrip.omic *** consist of a cytochrome p.50(Nt Cp.9H)which catalyzes the regioselective oxidation of camp.othecin to 9-hydroxycamp.othecin,as well as two methyltransferases(Nt OMT1/2,converting 9-hydroxycamp.othecin to 9-methoxycamp.othecin),and a uridine dip.osp.ate-glycosyltransferase(Nt UGT5,decorating 9-hydroxycamp.othecin to9-β-D-glucosyloxycamp.othecin).Imp.rtantly,the critical residues that contribute to the sp.cific catalytic activity of Nt Cp.9H have been elucidated through molecular docking and mutagenesis *** work p.ovides a genetic basis for p.oducing camp.othecin derivatives through metabolic *** will hasten the discovery of novel C-9 modified camp.othecin derivatives,with p.ofound imp.ications for p.armaceutical manufacture.
